My brother and I were driving the ranger that you were playing tag with
It was a great day for a drive
But your spot on about the amount of poor radio use on the track
We went on further past the salt lakes and again some folk not using radios

we did
We spent a single night on the my dare side of the salt lakes then Mount dare the following day
The Birdsville to Poppel was definitely my favourite part

We have a long range tank. But also carried a jerry on this trip for backup.
