Fantastic interview with Saxon. They're a great band. The 80s they could do no wrong, but the later stuff started going off the rails. Having said that I have a very soft spot for Saxon as along with UFO and your other classics like Diamond Head they got me through the worst period of my life when I was a kid getting beaten up in school all the time. And I can't forget Fastway- another great band. Biff is a very intelligent man with a really amazing skill when he writes lyrics. Songs like the best Saxon songs are never gonna die. I hope they continue for many more years to come and that Biff can still have his voice and his charisma. cheers
    Ben

wicked band, great songs with lots of passion and love. nothing but good to say about these Heavy Metal maniacs. what would we do without good music, society would be mad. more good bands. REVIVAL is happening. amen

I like Destiny, I know some people have written it off, but it was a fine album, it was. Ok, it's got some keyboards in it, so what? Almost every band on the planet was adding keyboards to their songs around that period.

This was saxons more commercial period, Nigel glocker came back very soon after this tour, E.M.I dropped them.after the destiny album and the went over to VIrgin.. this is a classic interview from saxons history (thanks mate for putting this on..in my band soul destroyer we supported graham Oliver at a bike fest and what was to become of Saxon along with Steve.) Anyway glad both versions of Saxon are stiff playing.. hey, if you get five mins check out my channel lol.

If anyone has any full episodes of SKY's Monsters Of Rock with Mick Wall hosting, or MTV's Metal Hammer show with The Bailey Brothers hosting on DVD-R or VHS, please contact me at: EvilDeadRules99@Hotmail.com
I would be willing to buy copies, or trade. But please no LP Mode DVD-R stuff. I'm looking for at least SP Mode (recorded with a standalone DVD Recorder) and preferably XP Mode (otherwise known as HQ Mode, or Highest Quality, 1-Hour Mode).
There is already 11-Discs up online of some chopped up shows, I have that, and I'm looking for full shows. Commercials included would be great, but as long as the interviews and music videos are intact that would be fine.
I've got a huge trade list, so if you're willing to trade, I'll send it to you and we can work something out.
    Thanks!
