the kings...Steve Dawson had the most strong and epic bass sound in the scene...the tandem Oliver/Quinn was a machine gun...Glockler is the beat-beast...and Byfford was the unbeateable leader...the greatest band of the NWOBHM
Man, the mix and tone of Dawson's bass make all the difference in the world. I wish some of the current "metal" engineers would go back and listen to some of the bands from this era and slightly before... UFO and Thin Lizzy in particular 🤘
Seen them in 1982 in Norman Oklahoma. Killer show. They dropped like 10,000 ping pong balls onto the stage from the ceiling of the arena after their show. 🤘🏻

Nunca he entendido el setlist de Saxon. Teniendo canciones que podrían ser hit tras hit, más de la mitad son del montón. ¿Donde está "Call of the wild"? En cualquier caso, tremendo concierto. Yo los ví a principios de los 90 en Barcelona, y estuvieron genial :)
