Dude...that's crazy....the first thing I thought when I saw it was...it looks like the golden chariot and treasures that I saw when I took my daughter to the King Tut exhibition...\m/ real treasure and pukka demo \m/
Another cool vid, Marty! I must admit - not the biggest Fan of PRS guitars, in general. But boy that one is a pretty guitar, and it sounds great with your rig. Then again.... everything you play always sounds really nice. LOL You could be rocking a First Act guitar from Walmart... and it would sound killer! Anyway, it's a nice axe for sure.
Thanks! I’m not a PRS guy either. In fact I sold a Custom 24 9 months ago and a Tremonti SE about 6 months ago. I purged my PRS’s! Lol. But then I wound up falling in love with this gold one. Single cut 24 frets… and the pickups sound great. So yeh… here we go again haha!
I just bought the Santana double cut. I have plenty Super Strats, wanted something different with the PRS trem. If you hammer on the trem how well does it stay in tune?
Great playing. I've been looking at these for a while, but the whole guitar is gold.. I love gold tops and that's the drawback for me the whole guitar is gold I want to see wood on the back like a Les Paul another thing too I wish they would consider at prs is stop painting the neck, I like a satin finish on wood.
Thanks man! I agree. I finally grew tired of the solid gold paint scheme and sold this guitar. It's really a wonderful guitar but I just didn't like the all gold.
Wow 24 frets on a LP scale guitar! That makes me want one, along with the goldtop and other features. That said, I've not been a fan of the PRS SE neck profiles I've played to date. I own a McCarty and it has a super nice neck. I hope I can try one of these out before buying.
They really are nice man. No paid promo here. Just honest opinion. My only issue is the toggle is a little noisy when used but that will die down with use or contact spray I think. I love the 24 Frets in a single cut. It’s really slinky!
@@Ranch5150SkinWalker A 1/4in is a big difference in tension. a shorter scale gives more harmonics. That is why a LP sounds much fatter than a PRS custom and way fatter than a strat w/ humbuckers
I am running through a Fractal Ax8 into a Scarlett 2 channel Focusrite in stereo, recorded in ProTools. This was a fender twin amp sim with a 4X12. I have a few FX on tap such as delay, verb, tremelo and a multi delay that sounds like strings. I highly recommend the AX8. Very versatile. Especially if you can find a used one at a good price! And thank you!! 😎🎶🎶
I believe these are no longer being made. Mine weighs 8lbs 2oz. If you are going to buy one I recommend you do before the prices go crazy. Fantastic guitar. Plays great, sounds amazing and the color!
Yes. They're nice. I have 3 SE guitars. Love them. They're actually built by Cortec corporation for PRS. In other words Cort. By the way Cort has their own line out and they're building some nice stuff. Problem is, we have an idiot leader and now even affordable guitars are no longer going to be affordable. Let's Go Brandon.
I think SE models are the most consistent “affordable” guitars around. Has been that way for quite some time. They still are about the same price. Especially used.
@@Ranch5150SkinWalker Agreed. The quality is off the charts in my opinion. PRS keeps a very close eye on their offshore builds. Mine are awesome. They like big amps too. I have four Wolfgangs also. None are USA builds but I love them as well.
Superb demo. Great performance: beautiful guitar. Thank you.
Nice tone sir. I got one earlier this year and I agree with you that they are a great value. I found my tuners needed an upgrade though. Great video.
Very good demo, thanks!
Wow!!! Amazing guitar!! Prs guitars are great! I have 3 and never had a complaint!!
they really are awesome! excellent quality control and playability!

Man I am so jealous! I would love to see the King Tut exhibit!!!
It really does look like Egyptian gold! Lol. Thanks for the comment man!
Very nice!! Sounds great!!
Thank you! It has a really warm chirpy charm to it I think!
Very nice dude 👌
Man, that is a great looking guitar !
Thanks Anthony! I appreciate it. You would know!

Sounds great ! Right out of King Tuts Tomb! 😂
It's a treasure for sure!

@@chrischoir3594 yeh I think like 1/4”

@@chrischoir3594 very true!
Nice demo, what amp are you playing through?

Mine only has 3 springs . Did you add 1 ???
Thanks for the review man, curious how much your model weighs?

Great video. How much does it weigh? Thank you
Some said closer to 9 pounds but mine is 7.9 pounds and so darn comfortable
