In the UK it is very rare for a shooter not to have one fitted. With rimfire subs and some subs in larger calibres it makes the rifle almost silent. Even the bark from large calibres is reduced enormously. I cannot imagine shooting without one.
@@garywboisseau Unfortunately it is not that simple. Permanent residents of many European countries are able to acquire manual action fireams at authorized dealers and require a license for handguns and semi auto rifles. This will likely vary from country to country but gun ownership is still very much a thing in Europe. Just not to the extent we are used to in America. Suppressors as far as I understand are easily bought over the counter because they are perceived as a safety device and are not subject to anything like our NFA system. Rimfire suppressors are probably among the most popular one used in Europe. I'm by no means an expert on this so you will want to do your own research.

The wait is a killer by itself. It’s like ordering a car that you need to get you around but you’ll have to wait 6mos to a year before you get the keys to it smh. I know what your talking about
I wish I could. I live in NJ where they're banned. We can't even have threaded barrels on any firearms. So freakin pathetic. Comrade Murphy wants all our guns taken away. No SBRs allowed, no pistol grips on semiauto shotguns, the stupid rules go on and on. We don't have gun laws, we have anti-gun laws.
Kind of. Suppressors will generally be more caliber specific. For example a 30 cal suppressor is compatible with a variety of different ammo types such as 308 win, 6.5 creedmoor, 30-30, 5.56, etc. On the flip side you can get a suppressor for an exact caliber for better suppression overall, but you sacrifice caliber flexibility to an extent.
Yes, but even though not hearing safe using a suppressor is generally still going to be better than not having it. 300blk and 8.6blk are by far the quietest centerline rounds out there
@@OldeEnglishOutfitters other than buying a threaded barrel, there's no other way that I know of. Buying a suppressor and a new barrel costs more than I can afford to pay, at least at this point and probably ever.
also as someone told me once...."if you live in a city or a state or providence that it is legal to own a suppressor why would you not own one".....
We agree!
Thank you for presenting this very helpful video. I have a question, I do target shooting. Does a suppressor affect accuracy?
Thanks for watching. Yes, suppressors can have impact shift . Some are better than others and as long as it repeatable should be easy to work with.
Great video! Especially the closing scene.
Was worried the RUclips overlords were going to give us a strike for graphic content
They're probably still trying to figure out what ellusive that creature is - man? beast? alien? 😂

What am I missing here? Nearly all guns are illegal in the U.K., period, much less any type of can.

The current Massachusetts governor and former state DA says no suppressors, or ARs or AKs (made after
1994). 🙄🤷🏻♂️
Unfortunate.

@OldeEnglishOutfitters definitely! And yes the Blackouts and big bores are extremely quiet when using Subsonic Ammunition.
No legal here on handguns, also no carry.
And no glocks after Gen 2, UNLESS ur law enforcement... then you can have whatever you want.
How about M4 AR 15 ?????? STAG !!!!
What?
1) I’m not buying anything that puts me on any Federal list.
2) It’s a moot question anyway, when the things cost more than any gun I own.
