Ive always been confused over the life of a suppressor. Ever since asking an SAS soldier at an exhibition in Aldershot back in the day 1971 to be precise. There was a Sterling sub machine gun leaning up against the tent they were in along with a purplr Austin Champ. The Stering had a suppressor fitted to it and I asked a few questions about it, one was the life os the suppressor. "About 200 rounds" was ther reply. WHAAAT ?!! So what kind of life do you get from commercial suppresors. I guess a Glock 20 4th Generation's supprssor would last a lot lot less than a Glock 19 suppressor, Any advice on this please ?
While both of mine are from Griffin Armament, I have considered purchasing one from Silencer Central. I had a retired Iraq War veteran who is also a co worker get me interested in suppressors prior and they are definitely worth it. I hardly ever go to the range without one. The red tape and stigma that still surrounds them is what sucks.
There shouldnt be a wait. If you can take a gun home after passing a background check you should be able to do so with suppressors! We've allowed the aft to have too much power on regulations. Theyre going to far with shit these days and trampling all over our rights unchecked
No need to once you learn that the ATF is just a corporation, and that corporations (corpse = not living) can have no rights over the living. The trick here is getting one to "believe" that they need a license to have a suppressor. And by signing up for a license, one is consenting to jurisdiction to either a Federal or a State corporation. A good book to start learning the tricks here is "Government Indicted" by Marc Stevens.
The fact that suppressors are so tightly regulated is one of the biggest snow jobs in the history of politics. Only slightly less gas-lit then “I’m from the government, I’m here to help”. I doubt one life was saved by making them class III. They still make noise! Just not so much as to rattle your neighbor’s dishes every time you want to go outside and get in a little practice (in my state you only have to be 300’ from a dwelling … well a .44 is still loud at 300’ away).
Legislation passed to “protect” the public. Typically only in democrat run cities/states with high gang violence and mass concentration of minorities. Most gun laws are racist in nature whether it’s intentional or “not” intentional, so they claim. The only people who are impacted by gun laws are law abiding citizens and those who need the very thing being banned/regulated.
@@brossovitch Funny you say that because gun nuts were apoplectic about Barack Obama (Democrat). Despite this, the only 2 major gun bills that Obama signed into law actually EXPANDED gun rights. One permitted Amtrak passengers to carry guns in checked baggage & the other allowed for the carry of firearms in national parks which is a reversal of a policy from Ronald Reagan (Republican) that had required guns to be stored in locked trunks or locked glove compartments while in national parks. Donald Trump (Republican) for his part, promulgated a new rule BANNING bump stocks during his time in the White House. You may recall that a bump stock IS an accessory used to allow semi-automatic firearms to mimic an automatic ROF & that a bump stock was used by the Las Vegas shooter 6 years ago to effectuate the worst mass shooting in modern American history in terms of total body count. According to ATF estimates, about 520,000 Americans OWNED bump stocks when these accessories were banned under the Trump administration. Bump stock owners had 90 days to turn in their bump stocks or destroy them under the Trump rule. Bump stock owners were not offered or given compensation. Now, who's the communist fascist tyrant? You tell me.

0:21 it wasn't too difficult to buy one... but are they worth it. Not really. They really don't reduce the sound that much and the cost of them just isn't there. I'll only use mine for home defense so there's that I guess.
I got a banish 30 from them and they made it super easy. Zach was my sales person
the ATF took about 7 months to process.
It takes some time. You will turn into a skeleton…but a happy skeleton when it arrives
boy, that is a damned big operation!
Very nice tour. Thank you.
Im trying to do an attachments only loadout. M26 and an M203 included.
I dont want whats marketed to [citizens] as license.
Its a want (within [society]) at best.
How do I get them?
"Silencers are scaaawy! I've seen some movies! It's a quiet pew-pew!"
Suppressors in real life: "BAM!"
supressors with subsonic ammo are a dangerous combination tho, they wouldn't register as gunsound to someone hearing it.
Correct me if i am wrong though.
@@sopmodtew8399 It would eliminate the sonic crack. But guns are still loud. Suppressed 5.56 will still produce around 135 dB of noise. Only .22LR is quieter - around 120 dB.
That's still loud. Too loud. Chainsaw loud.
@@matezz397 ok
Their kiosks have made it so much simpler!!! I’ve bought 5 and it was easy as can be! Just wish they were closer to Hollywood quiet, but that’s not their fault!
nah, sounds like pillow is quieter.
This video could have been made earlier, but Silencer Central had to install metal detectors at the door before Hickok visited....
It's probably still beeping.

You can’t own anything decent anymore lol thanks to trudy.
Well I liked the video, but I really liked the screen by the entrance that looked like a picture on the well. Wonder where you can find that
The way he says live human to staffs over there.
Here in the Philippines.. you can buy supressor online without any documentation needed..
The amount of boxes waiting to me satisfies common use as per Bruen
While both of mine are from Griffin Armament, I have considered purchasing one from Silencer Central. I had a retired Iraq War veteran who is also a co worker get me interested in suppressors prior and they are definitely worth it. I hardly ever go to the range without one. The red tape and stigma that still surrounds them is what sucks.
My wait time was 276 days.
Your results may vary.
There shouldnt be a wait. If you can take a gun home after passing a background check you should be able to do so with suppressors!
We've allowed the aft to have too much power on regulations. Theyre going to far with shit these days and trampling all over our rights unchecked
Great field trip great video thanks Hickok 45
Abolish the ATF.
Shyte, you were in Sioux Falls and I didn't know about it!? Great tour vid!
The hands in the pockets lol
"Life is good. And quiet!"
* life is good, and quiet *
Me * on a construction site with multiple machines running rn like what he say? *
It was nice to see the "jail" where my suppressors hung out for 10 months, but they're happier here with me at home.
Wish we had them in Canada. Not sure why " louder" will stop crime.
I went through Silencer Central for my Trust/Tax stamp and it was an easy process.
This is different for Hickok45 but I like this!
Another Great Video by the man that gives you the True Facts
The camera swaying is difficult to watch. Entertaining video none the less
Hey hickock I think you touched my suppressor box. I demand you pay for my suppressor now!
My neighbors would love me to have some quieting. Unfortunately, we aren't free in MA
Imagine being on the phone with SC customer service and you hear Hickok45 in the background.
Incredible facility!!! 🐕
Nice we always love the suppresser to the 1911 keep it up I love your work
Literally decided to get a suppressor last week 🤣 great upload thanks
So does anyone else hear Sarah McLachlan's In the Arms of an Angel as Hickok walks through the suppressor storage? Just me?
Awsome walk through, thanks bud!
Nice field trip to silencer central one of those boxes has my name on it. In the wait game
You forgot the part where you get to pay $200 to the Man, man!
I can't wait to move out of Illinois and get a suppressor for my Kel Tec P17.
I have the longest wait time, Illinois. Don’t even know how long.
in Finland the sequence is
1) go to a store
2) buy a suppressor
but you need some gun permit to do that... which is stupid.
How exactly is it stupid?
But you already have the gun and the license for it, if your gonna buy a suppressor for it. So does it matter?
Even more stupid it's in Brazil you have to get a license to buy extra magazines and a laser sight.
For now, ear protection will have to do until the ATF becomes the name of a convenience store.
Why is it illegal to own one in those states?
Because of communist fascist tyrants... I mean democrats..
Fear mongering by snowflakes
Legislation passed to “protect” the public. Typically only in democrat run cities/states with high gang violence and mass concentration of minorities. Most gun laws are racist in nature whether it’s intentional or “not” intentional, so they claim. The only people who are impacted by gun laws are law abiding citizens and those who need the very thing being banned/regulated.
Bc people dont Understand what suppressors do and are scared of John Eich Action
Thank you for another great video!
Suppressors are awesome! Reall nice, especially when shooting on your own property. Worst part of buynig one, other than the $200 tax. is the year long wait for the ATF to produce the tax stamp.
I've been waiting over a year. "Eforms are fast", my ass.
