And have Ali’s blade pick up with recruiting the midnight suns after hearing about or reading in blades war diary the names of the most power supernatural beings to recruit against the multiverse war ..also have blade have a vision of random shots foreshadowing secret wars or what’s coming . @@BigOooooof A healing factor means nothing where Alioth is concerned. My assumption was based on the fact that they were all being eaten by Alioth just as D&W hit the portal, then Laura was back. Only TVA interference could’ve prevented that. Her healing factor was never on my mind b/c if Alioth ate her it would be useless.
I think snipes teased a comeback when he said "there will always be only one blade".
No it's most likely a one time deal or only as a cameo. He even had reservations on doing it because of the new blade. He wants mahershala ali to have his time to shine especially since he's a big reason a new blade is even happening.

I've noticed quite a lot of people who live/lived in Lousiana say the accent is fantastic. People who did not, think its bad. Its definitely more of a southern cajun over french I guess, but apparently still accurate if you live out more torwards the Bayou.

They confirmed that all 4 of the resistance cameos survived when Deadpool asked if they could get a few friends out of the void. We only saw Laura at the end, but I'm sure they didnt pull her out and leave the other 3 behind. Blade, Gambit, Elektra, and X-23 wouldnt make a bad start for the Midnight Suns. 🤷♂️

@@KarnimatasMy friend, that is one hell of a Cajun accent that he did. A lot of the VAs have gone for a more French accent, but Remy LeBeau is Louisiana born and bred.
I’m glad Chan got to play the role because I know how passionate he was for it, and I liked how he went all in for the character in this movie, but let’s be honest, (in terms of accent only) X-Men ‘97’s Gambit voice is the best, and closest to the original Gambit from the animated X-Men series that took place in the early 90’s.
Channing both nailed Gambit but more importantly is a great actor who has star power that we need in the MCU. They absolutely need to have Gambit in the upcoming movies. And as far as comic accuracy, like they can make him more comic accurate in the next movie no problem, but what we got imo was amazing as is including as you said the action.
I assumed it was implied they all survived since we saw X-23 but was disappointed that Remy wasn’t there at the party playing cards, but it’s nice to see he being snuck into the post credit.

I loved Deadpool’s jokes about not understanding anything Gambit/Remy LeBeau was saying! I could watch a lot more more movies with Deadpool joking about Gambits accent!
The Gambit action scenes were really good.

If nothing else you have to admire and appreciate Channing Tatum’s passion and determination to finally play Gambit! At least someone was willing to do whatever it took to finally bring a character so many people love to life!
I have no idea how many times I could watch Deadpool and Wolverine in the theater! Oppenheimer is the only other movie I’ve ever seen in the theater more than once!
Gambit, Silver Surfer and Nova are my favorite characters of all time. This was such a crazy moment! So glad he got to bring this character to life.

Bro! Exiles is a fantastic idea! That would be a perfect place to bring back Liev Schreiber as Sabertooth! Sabertooth was a long time Exiles member and it would allow Liev to evolve the character into an antihero. His Sabertooth was one of the few bright spots of that movie.

Yeah I was just thinking this. Gambit is on my mt Rushmore and Channing did a surprisingly good and fun portrayal. I don’t want him permanently but leave him for now, he’ll interact great with our current cast but I need a younger version going post secret wars.

Ryan using Deadpool 3 to revitalize his superhero costars is one of the cooler things I've seen in a movie. Even Elektra got a proper send off.

Tatum Gambit could be a variant. Hence missing red eyes. Could you imagine a stand alone Gambit origin story film. Call it Guild of thieves or honor among thieves. Just make sure Tatum Channing takes the role. That's all that matters at this point. Deadpool and Wolverine was an epic watch.

@@PhillipHernandez-c6vGambit was born with black eyes and red irises due to his mutation. None of which were present in the film. Which is why I'm leaning more towards a variant Gambit.
The gambit in the movie is just a kick in the sack cause all his lines are just eluding to the fact he doesn't belong to anything. I think the biggest giveaway is when he says he thinks he was born in the void cause his movie got scrapped.

Hopefully they all survived. We know X-23 did, so hopefully the rest did as well. I never was a huge fan of Gambit, but I loved Channing Tatum's portrayal. The over the top accent was hilarious. I hope this isn't the last time we see Channing portraying Gambit. At least keep him around until the soft reboot.

Gambit is my favorite X Men member, which is why I’m thrilled he was Justice in Deadpool and Wolverine movie including he’s wearing his very cool common costume including the metal boots, and brown leather trench coat.
Ryan Reynolds and Shawn Levy basically just gave Disney and Marvel the blueprint for countless movies based off of Deadpool and Wolverine!
The movie was brilliant and now hearing about these guys truly loving their characters is AWESOME!! I can’t wait to see what’s next

Ryan is a great example of what is needed in the industry. People making movies they actually care about above just making a ton of money. There is NOTHING wrong with getting paid but man it really is just better when the people who work on these stories actually care about the characters and the source material. Same goes for Henry Cavill with The Witcher. We need people who actually nerd out about the script and the character involved at high levels so that we can return to quality over quantity.
I remember hearing the rumors about Tatum playing Gambit long before Deadpool and Wolverine thinking whar a joke, but damn after seeing him pull it off so freaking well I am now fully on board and only want him to continue playing this role, I don't even want to see anyone else make an attempt.
I think the TVA should have been a series doing what you suggested, different actors playing various hero's in different universes. That would have been truly multiversal and let them test out ideas for future projects
