Skeleton, was originally released as B-side (on 7' Vinyl) to the single, Helicopter - back 2004 (Oct 25). It also got released on the Japanese release, Little Thoughts EP (CD) (2004, Dec 01). It was released, for the final time, on the bonus disc of Silent Alarm remixed (2005) - (only a select number of silent alarm remixed came with the bonus EP.)

Like a human he wanted simple desires but it couldn’t archive his dreams and now....he is a skeleton....and...nobody want to see him because he knows the sufferance very well but the others don’t mind...they only want to live by ignoring...they don’t know the face of a deep heart who suffered....he became a skeleton...

This song, in my opinion, is referring to a bad relationship.
If you look at the lines "All my thoughts are all lies/all my bones are so tired" He's been in this relationship for a long time, and he's done with it.
The lines "It makes a man out of me/You take the fun out of me" Refer to the narrator talking to his friends. His friends, in my opinion, were trying to talk him out of this relationship because they knew it was bad.
The chorus shows that the narrator has been doing everything he can to keep the spark alive ("I've been consistent to the fucking dream")
Finally, the line "I'm just a skeleton." Shows that the narrator isn't who he used to be. The relationship has made him into a mere shadow of who he once was.
Very sad, but awesome piece of music.

They're B-Sides alone could've been an album. So many amazing gems that casual BP fans have never heard. They're missing out as some of my favorite songs aren't on any albums. The Present, Tulips, Marshalls are Dead, Emma Kate's Accident, The Once & Future King, Idea For A Story, We Were Lovers, Blue Moon, England, Hero, Chinese Burn, Rivulet. . . .I think I may have forgotten a few.
