That car brings back memories. I too had to upgrade the stereo. Can't be without bluetooth connection. This was way before Apple car play even existed. Picked up a Clarion unit. I had to get the Meta kit so it can fit the 2 din size as well. Otherwise, the system would be integrated inside just like the stock unit. Great little upgrade. Biggest difference was upgrading the stock speakers. Didn't even spend too much. Just higher quality JL speakers. Amazing what difference that made to the overall system. It was more than enough for the small cabin of the NC. Do yourself a favor and get the Autoexe steering wheel. Your stock steering wheel has seen better days. 🙂
@@brandonwelsh2743 yeah, they’re difficult to find because they tend to disintegrate rather easy. Not sure what type of leather they use but it doesn’t stand up to abuse all that well. The autoexe steering wheel has a much better finish to it. Better quality leather too. You won’t be disappointed. 👍🏻
@@neoanderson7 so, I just found out that Mazda sells the NC2 steering wheel for $125… and they sell just the wheel without plastics or switches for $22… I might just order one of those lol
I’ve been wanting to replace the crappy GM radio in my 2011 Yukon, I like the big screen size, can it hookup to the existing backup camera? What would you charge to install it?
It depends on the Oem hookups but where there’s a will there’s a way. We don’t really do aftermarket radio installs so it’s not something we can easily quote. It would be best to come by and talk about options.
I installed the same unit and the only problem I have is raising the volume of Siri (during navigation, incoming texts, etc.) and I’ve tried raising the volume when she’s talking but it seems to just raise the general volume.
Hi , I just bought this I’m having trouble figuring out where to connect the steering wheel harness (6 wires only) or the one to control the volume to. Please help !! 🙏
At the 9 minute mark Brandon talks about which wires he used for the steering wheel volume control. That is what was needed for his Miata and quite possibly might not be what you need for your vehicle.
I wonder why specs. on their website and Amazon are missing the usual numbers. They're probably all made up in this price range, but at least you'd have something to point out when you returned it.
This couldn’t be more timely. I’ve been eyeing going back to an ‘06-‘08 and wondered about doing this. Thank you! 🙏🏼
Idk why but the NC1 is my favorite.
15:00 Time to get you a speaker upgrade and a small amp. 😆 The fun part is it doesn't take much power to sound good in a small car.

Southern AZ. It's probably 6 months old.
I was trying to find a good OEM steering wheel but they are not easy to find. I’ll look into that one, thank you.

@@brandonwelsh2743 ok thanks, will do, I hate not having bluetooth on the gm radio and having to use that dumb adapter that plugs into the aux port
Ou peut-on achète le cadre pour le poste ?
