Hell yea keep the John Sykes music coming 🎸🤘
Sykes was a master of wide vibrato, very similar to Gary Moore. They are definitely two of my favorite guitarists. I had Blue Murder on cassette and still have the CD - great album.
This is awesome! Sykes' playing has so much emotional power in it... he is truly one of the greatest players of that era... he just had had it all!
This track is one of his best!
You have outdone yourself ... again!
Bravo!
Thanks man,Sykes is a melodic wizard, one of the greats!
Excellent. You really nailed Sykes vibrato which is no easy task
Thanks Dave!
I agree more John Sykes would be awesome!!!!
that's really nice !!!!!!! interesting kind of got a Yngwie vibe KIND OF !!!!!
Incredible! Great job!
Thanks man,I appreciate it!
I like where this is going! :D
You should do some Blackmore like strange kind of woman live in Japan. And thanks for all the awesome tutorials
Yeah,Blackmore's awesome so I'll definitelly consider it,thanks man!
you are the man! very few have tried to cover this stuff
Thank you brother I appreciate it, great stuff so thanks for suggesting it!
dude I have many more suggestions but I dont want to flood you. There are a few great ones that have been so so covered a couple times and some great ones that have never been done

Hey man I trust your taste in music so no worries
consider either of these 2. Badlands "Dancing on the Edge"....Classic Jake E Lee with cool blues intro licks then the standard fast "how far can u stretch the pinky" lick at the end. @@chasingfrets
or, a killer deep cut from Michael Schenker. The song "Born to Lose" from UFO. Amazing solo on this 1978 deep cut. Sort of weird chord pattern where it is 4 minor chords in the intro and also on the background for the solo. Sort of long solo but just crazy passion and intensity with the trademark killer melodic Schenker vibe. Either of those would be worthy for consideration! @@chasingfrets

Great work, David! I very much enjoy your content. I am wondering if you might consider giving us a lesson on Yngwie's acapella intro solo to Steeler's "Hot On Your Heels"? I realize you did already give us a lesson on the song's solo section. But man, your rendition of that unaccompanied intro solo would be very welcome, indeed. Thank you for all you do, and sharing your talent as well as your excellent note-by-note transcription and lessons. I know you have helped me become a much better guitarist.
Cheers from the USA,
John
Thanks John I appreciate it. That intro solo is very long so I'm gonna have to think about it, anyway happy to hear you're enjoying the lessons my friend, cheers!

Understood, thanks David. Keep up the great work, It is all appreciated.
Have you thought about doing more non yngwie solos? would be cool to see some akira takasaki loudness solos
I'm running out of Yngwie songs anyway LoL, I'll keep it in mind!
Hello, my orthdox brother David. Can't really say I dig your goatee, general sense of style or taste at guitars (EVH???Really?). Your sound also is far from pleasant to my ears. I myself have a solo proposition, even though it might be a little difficult for you. Muris Varajic - The Public Solution
Please, tell me how you really feel :))) That's fine man, we all have our thing. Look, Muris is a monster player I love what he's doing I already covered his 'Oriental shred' but the thing is I don't think many people are interested in that style of plaing on this channel, but I'll keep it in mind brother, awesome tune
Indeed you have!!! You're awesome, hadn't noticed! Excuse my ill mannered remarks above, I happened to have posted on the Keep on rockin video, you obviously never read it, it was my first post, i thought you rejected or deleted it. Of course you would have responded as you always do.
My friend, you have truly captured the Yngwie essence, your choice of solos is remarkable. You are an absolute and unmistaken Yngwie fan. If I had a channel myself, I would have covered the same ones. Forget about Muris(do you happen to know him or met him?), I love Balkan and oriental mixtures as of Octavision i.e.
Are you a professional musician? I wish you growth and acknowledgement, you are a great player. Get some better equipment please.
Facing the animal is one of my favourites. Try Alone In Paradise please. Or the Vai solo at Keep on rottin'. Thank you for your time.@@chasingfrets
Thanks man, all good suggestions I'll keep them in mind!
