They are gorgeous from the makeup put on for desire's outfit to just the way they act it's amazing. I know Desire is bad but I can't help but like them as one of my two favorites the other being Death.XD
Desire is the most unnerving of the Endless. Hear me out: - Destruction abandoned his throne because he didn't want to decide humanity's methods of annihilation, displaying a vast amount of compassion and morality. - Anyone can overcome Despair, because from Despair comes >hope< and we all know it. - Dream is an eternal imagination, never ending and forever changing, but he's not without reason or mercy or humanity. - Death is >kindness< and sheer, pure sincerity. She loves humanity and is patient with our fear of the unknown. She's inevitable but she doesn't seek us out. She just helps us. - Destiny, the single most powerful member of the Endless and the oldest sibling, just focuses on his work. He is an observer, inevitable, but just like Death, he doesn't seek us out to harm us, only guide us from afar. Gods help you if you somehow manage to anger him, though. - Delirium... Poor, poor Delirium whom was once Delight. She is chaotic and ever-changing and barely able to speak sense that others can understand. She isn't a threat to anyone, barely even creepy, just a girl whose mind is scattered because of what she is. - And then, we reach Desire... Desire's dangerous and unnerving because anyone can convinced to desire anything. Because that's what Desire is; they're convincing and persuasive, and in us all, they would find our desires and let them loose without regard.

Can't deny that the casting choice for Desire is absolute perfection, both in terms of appearance and the actor's acting. Casting choice for Death is also interesting, as in many universes and mythology, Death tends to be presented as a pale white and often skinny/emaciated, as well as creepy man, such as the case for Supernatural and the four horsemen, so having a lively and absolutely gorgeous and attractive looking black woman who loves life and humanity is quite refreshing in this universe. :P
“Ah sweet Dream, it’s so good to see you, almost an even-“ “I’m coming through.” “What? I mean…yeah. Sure. Good. No, Cool. Great. Yeah. What? No. Good. Neat. Huh? Great….great.”
It was posted on another video but when Desire smiles or appears to be happy, it never reaches their eyes. Their eyes remain hungry & predatory. It's a great character trait that Mason does well; you want to feel safe in their presence, but you can't.
I WANNA TALK ABOUT HOW GLAD I AM MASON GOT THIS ROLE! They received a lot of backlash and unfair criticism for playing Gren in the Cowboy Bebop adaptation, which entirely was the fault of the studio and not them. They did a good job but was sort of screwed over and left high and dry. Now here they are being hot AF in a role they ate like it was meant for them. Literally every time they talk I get chills. I can’t wait to see more if Desire and Mason in other works!
Even Rose Walker? No shade, her acting was on point but when compared to these wonderfully portrayed and specifically accurate acting beyond expectations casts, hers fall flat.
@@chukasssss I think that has more to do with the fact that her character is an ordinary teenager in a world of gods and monsters than anything to do with the actress.
Desire is so!!! Seeing the other sigils was great too, i love how they adapted them!! And that mention of Delirium made me so happy! I do hope to see her in the second season, along with Destiny and Destruction!
Never read the comics, never watched the show, but damn, the Desire character is done perfectly in that I didn't realize how Desire should be embodied until I this. I am now interested. IP's that want to squash all their content on RUclips should take note. This is how you sell yourself.
I love how Désires’ chaise looks a bit like a red blood cell in the heart chambers. Great production design even if it apparently bruised Mason’s hips 😂.
From her looks to his behavior it's adapted as smoothly as silk through fingertips. We know desire has a cold side but but he also has a warm and kind side. She isn't simply bad. Desire in all aspects can be just as wonderful as he is terrible
Hm... So...on Desire's side there's Delirium and Despair...and on Dream's side, there's Death and Destiny... and on 0:02 the items on the mirrors reaffirm that (Destiny's book and Death's ankha being on Dream's raven mask side, while Despair's hook and Delirium's rainbow blob being besides Desire's heart) However, there's one missing which is destruction that i'm assuming should be the one that is missing on both chambers on the middle between Desire and Dream, showing how he's either impartial, a wild card or that he is not very sociable
I think him was inspired visually and and some ways in desire, because Desire came first in comics. And yes, Mason park could portray Him in a PPG live action, would be fantastic cast choice.
Very amusing, this Desire. The subtlety of a nuclear weapon and the arrogance of Jupiter himself. Unbridled desire, most definitely. An entertaining fall awaits, I'm sure

“Ah sweet Dream, it’s so good to see you, almost an even-“
“I’m coming through.”
“What? I mean…yeah. Sure. Good. No, Cool. Great. Yeah. What? No. Good. Neat. Huh? Great….great.”
Where there is desire, there is going to be a flame...
Best actor EVER for Desire’s role. Beautiful, sexy, alluring, that voice!! Perfect.
It was posted on another video but when Desire smiles or appears to be happy, it never reaches their eyes. Their eyes remain hungry & predatory.
It's a great character trait that Mason does well; you want to feel safe in their presence, but you can't.
Desire is perfectly named and played
Couldn’t agree more
He reminds me of MCU Loki. Particularly in the mischievous, devious expressions he wears.
I loooove how aligned their faces are at 2:08 🙏
Also, the set design for Desire chamber is my favourite ❤️❤️
The Desire's actor should play as Slaanesh. He's so perfect for the role
they are SO good looking im floored
im obsessed with Desire, what a great interpretation
I WANNA TALK ABOUT HOW GLAD I AM MASON GOT THIS ROLE!
They received a lot of backlash and unfair criticism for playing Gren in the Cowboy Bebop adaptation, which entirely was the fault of the studio and not them. They did a good job but was sort of screwed over and left high and dry.
Now here they are being hot AF in a role they ate like it was meant for them. Literally every time they talk I get chills. I can’t wait to see more if Desire and Mason in other works!
Probably because they tried to shoehorn Gren into the entire series when he was only in a single episode
The complete cast of Sandman is perfect.
Agreed! Whoever was responsible for the casting deserves a Goddard raise.
We won’t see Destruction for a few seasons, but we will learn more about him next season
Destruction left his realm he may come bsbk
Never read the comics, never watched the show, but damn, the Desire character is done perfectly in that I didn't realize how Desire should be embodied until I this. I am now interested. IP's that want to squash all their content on RUclips should take note. This is how you sell yourself.
The actor that plays Desire should play HIM in a live version of the power puff girls
2:07 that scene gave me 🦋butterflies🦋
Everyone is praising the actor but damn this soundtrack and the interior of desire room 😍
I desire...Desire. They are magnificent.
I love how Désires’ chaise looks a bit like a red blood cell in the heart chambers. Great production design even if it apparently bruised Mason’s hips 😂.
I mean yeah, that looks really really uncomfortable and masons about 10lbs soaking wet...gotta hurt
I could picture Desire hanging out with the cast of Hazbin Hotel
From her looks to his behavior it's adapted as smoothly as silk through fingertips. We know desire has a cold side but but he also has a warm and kind side. She isn't simply bad. Desire in all aspects can be just as wonderful as he is terrible
I’m glad they didn’t change anything from the comics in this scene. Such a badass moment.
Ok can we talk about Dream just pulling Desire’s hair like that? And speaking like that? Because oh my god
That dude really liked his role
Mason Alexander Park is spot on casting 👌
The casting is just best of best
Hm...
So...on Desire's side there's Delirium and Despair...and on Dream's side, there's Death and Destiny... and on 0:02 the items on the mirrors reaffirm that (Destiny's book and Death's ankha being on Dream's raven mask side, while Despair's hook and Delirium's rainbow blob being besides Desire's heart)
However, there's one missing which is destruction that i'm assuming should be the one that is missing on both chambers on the middle between Desire and Dream, showing how he's either impartial, a wild card or that he is not very sociable
The golden eyes, gorgeous voice and something else✨
The first thing he reminds me of is Him from powerpuff girls❤️🔥
I think him was inspired visually and and some ways in desire, because Desire came first in comics. And yes, Mason park could portray Him in a PPG live action, would be fantastic cast choice.
@@arthursouza9641 great theory 😮
I'm actually in love with Desire. That outfit is my undoing
Mason is PERFECT as Desire! Such a talent!
Very amusing, this Desire. The subtlety of a nuclear weapon and the arrogance of Jupiter himself. Unbridled desire, most definitely. An entertaining fall awaits, I'm sure
Desire's voice is sooooo smooooth
Realistic role-playing stems from personal feelings.
Wow..both really pulled off these characters off amazingly
