2 words for you. Dash camera. I have a dash camera that recods my speed, films out the front of the car, out the back, and it can record who is standing at the front driver/passenger door. It also records any audio. I was told I was driving 20 over the speed limit (it goes from 60 mph to 40 mph. It was a work zone so the fine was doubled). The cop said they were following me for a mile back. When I was pulled over I immediately hit the save button on my dash camera. After I was done with the stop I hit save again. I went back and watched the video. I was going 5 under the speed limit and the cop didnt follow me for a mile back. It was a quarter of a mile back. I gave everything to my lawyer and he had the ticket thrown out and the police department had to pay for my lawyer.
I've never heard of ANYONE getting legal fees paid back in traffic court.
Was the police officer prosecuted? It has to be illegal to put false information like that on a police report and with clear evidence like that it should be an open and shut case.
Have a dashcam and a GPS in frame. Thats all the proof you need.
i got one here in Germany, its kind of illegal legal...!
because my country got real privacy laws....
no pictures in public, because everyone on it got his right to privacy in public!
😅 I know… I know 🥲
@@Arltratlo Isnt that kinda backwards logic? You are in a public place where everyone can see you. Hence you have no privacy at that moment in the first place. So why does it matter if you end up in a picture? I gues tourists dont take pictures when visiting Germany? 🤣
In the UK:
1. The police will show you where and by how much you are speeding on the dashcam in their vehicle
2. More importantly, the police generally do not spend a majority of their time with traffic stops, especially for speeding. They sometimes will if it happens around them, but speeding is mostly handled by speed cameras which are EVERYWHERE.
The US appears more backward in general and especially with policing. The idea of a road deliberately designed to have constantly changing speed limits to trap unsuspecting drivers into receiving speeding tickets on the say-so of an officer, who seemingly doesn't have to give technical proof of the offence is just wild to me. A textbook case of the law being weaponised against the citizens.
Same in Norway.
Exactly! 1 million % agree with you! Also, it's not uncommon at all for a cop to lie and fudge things on their police report. I've never known a cop to back down when they're wrong. They always sidestep and come up with some other excuse as to why they pulled you over.
So here’s the thing about speed traps. They bring in money for the country *but* since the country sheriff is an elected official, deputies try to target people who aren’t from that county (ie: potential voters.) Some states list the county on the license plates (though mine doesn’t.) County sheriffs’ departments love to pull over cars with out-of-state license plates because they aren’t voters and they are highly unlikely to come back to contest a ticket in court. Tickets from state troopers don’t fund local government so they are less likely to target out-of-towners.
There are a lot of “mixed motives”in American law enforcement.
Thankfully, my states made speed traps illegal. That might seem progressively pro-justice/pro-civil rights of us… until you hear how it happened. So there was a county sheriff who was later elected to the state house of representatives and then state senate as a Republican. When he was a representative, he got pulled over in a speed trap in a liberal university town the next country over. The city cop, upon learning who he was, refused the “professional courtesy” of not writing him a ticket. The rep was PO’d! He paid the ticket though and started talking to people about the speed trap, gathering evidence that it the speed limit was artificially low for the sole purpose of generating revenue. He tried influence-wise to get it changed to no avail. Then, when he was a state senator, he got nabbed in the same speed trap. Once again, the officer did not show him the “professional courtesy” of not ticketing him. The senator then drew up research papers on speed traps and hit all the political shows denouncing speed traps. He drafted a bill defining and banning speed traps. It passed and that’s the story of how my state banned speed traps. One entitled, cishet, Christian, white man got butthurt dealing with the daily injustice he perpetrated against the rest of us. 🤷♀️
I also find it wild 😅 that they can just say “hey you were speeding. Here’s a ticket”
Cops use speeding as an excuse to harass people in the US! Same with the broken tail light.
Lmao the ✨ yeaaaahhhh ✨
To his “you probably know more than I do” 😂
😖 it happens all the time in my life and I just find it hilarious how people are 😫😩
At least they didn't shoot you.
Come back to Europe as fast as possible - in the meantime get a dash cam.
US cops trying to make a good payday on bogus charges yes?
I think you need a dashcam for your driving fridge.
I totally agree. Plus it's allowed in the US. It's not in Austria. Is it in Germany?
Exactly that I just wanted to say too
@@lismi9178 yes, they are allowed in Germany. The only stipulation is that they don't impact the field of view of the driver in any significant way.
@@lismi9178 it is allowed in Germany. Officially it is not used/allowed as evidence but in most cases it indeed is used as evidence and proof
@@lismi9178 It is legal, as long as the videos are not stored permanently, and you may not publish videos uncensored (faces/license plates).
You have to equip your car with video cameras like a Christmas tree . 😂😂
The police have to prove that they are working, hence the unnecessary actions they take , which can be dangerous
😂 the sparkling refrigerator 😅
Turned out to be harmless.
But it confirms all the prejudices I have against US police.
Get a dashcam. Accept any ticket and at home download your dashcam footage to your laptop. Let it go to court. You will have the evidence you did nothing wrong. I've got a dashcam and I'm living in the Netherlands.
Pacing = No evidence = Not admissible in court
Yeah it’s ridiculous 😂 I would have taken it to court if it was a real ticket that I actually had to pay money for
Fight it if it happens again ( ticketclinic )
@@HayleyAlexis I come from a country north of Germany, and to me, US policing looks more like racketeering on some points.
Bullshit. The evidence is given by testimony of the Officer. Same in Europe eg Austria and Germany.
Now you miss Germany, right? (come back!!! :p ) ;-) A tip for everyone here; if the police stop you and ask "Do you know how fast you were driving?" ALWAYS say a number, or they'll put a big number on themselves, and you can't say it's not true because you don't know.
In some areas of the US cops will write bogus tickets because their agency gets a cut of the fine revenue. These cops prefer to give tickets to drivers from out of town because they are seldom in a position where they can afford the time or the cost of arguing their case in court. You did the right thing by not insisting she was wrong. Challenging a cop is a good way to rack up additional charges. Best Wishes and good luck !
Hello,
I can only advise you to install a dashcam, preferably with an additional rear view.
The speeds driven are also stored there via GPS.
And you might even have video material for your channel here! ^^
I have seen so many videos about traffic stops. In the U.S. you have to be scared from the police.
@@fredphlogiston4620 You are being nonsensical.
"You got pulled over and the cops lied". That's them just saying "Welcome back home"....which is unfortunate. I moved to Germany and will be staying right here. Been in Germany for 10 years, not one run'in with the cops. In NY???? Once every few months. Sometimes it's just best to leave a place. Sorry that you even have to experience such buffoonery.
I went to NYC to visit a friend. I asked a police officer if he could tell me where the subway station is as my google maps was not working. He shouted at me like a maniac "Do i look like a f*****g map to you?" and became extremly aggressive. It was crazy.
@JensBrocher Im sorry for that man. I don't understand this lack of respect and compassion by human beings. Nevermind the historical aspect of the States, as we can all change the course of history, however, the mentality is simply not worth entertaining when one literally doesnt have to. I suggest to all who have the opportunity to do so....to leave.
"Welcome home" thats a goodone
You're right about the fines being harsh. Years ago I had to go to traffic court for my one week expired tags and because my proof of insurance in my glove box was out of date (though my insurance itself was current). It was kind of sad seeing people who were clearly of very limited means having to set up payment plans for their fines, knowing that wealthier people often get out of their tickets or feel no real financial burden from the fine. I recall reading about Finland's policy of basing fines on a person's disposable income. I would love to see that be more widespread.
It was 170 000€. The highest speeding ticket. The speeder did go to court about it, and it was lowered to 106 000€
Ja, ja, Hayley. No rule breaking for years - very suspicious. 😂
🤣🤣🤣 I know
Honey i used to live in Florida before moving to Germany...Those cops lie all the time! Worst police force than New YOrkCity
Get your self a dash cam. 😮
And this is one of the reasons why so many Americans now have dashcams. I guess you'll need one in the front and back of your car now as evidence to protect yourself. In Europe, a speedcam would just flash you and then you know for sure it was your mistake and not someone lying.
Sounds like the mayor has instructed the cops in your community to take money out of people's pockets because the community needs money. But the mayor wants to be re-elected, only people from outside are being screwed.
Dashcam, lovely Hayley. And leave it on non-stop.
And a camera that films you and the side window with sound.
Filming me?!??! 😂 oh that sounds horrible
"It doesn't macht any sense." 🤣
Hayley, Spring is mating season for gators. Beware because they walk from lake to lake, through yards, garages, where ever they want.
I'm so sorry you had to experience that! It just shows AGAIN that people are not safe in the US even though it's supposed to be a democracy. I don't know if cops would do the same thing here in Germany, I do hope though, that they would not. I've never heard something similar here. Your reaction to her lying is truly admirable❤
Just glad the cop didn't pull something else out of thin air in a need to be right. I've had that happen in St. Pete and she said stuff that is flat out impossible in this world we live in. I'm like you in that I don't speed or anything. Squeeky clean.
What an interesting report!
Thanks Hayley.👍🏼
Glad you enjoyed it! thank you for stopping by :)
i have watched so many vids on US cops doing such things ..... its unbeliveable. not possible in germany.
greetings
then you don't know what's possible in your dreamland germany.
There is no way to get a speeding ticket in Germany without measurement and foto of the incident, which clearly indentifies that you were the one driving. No he said she said bs.@@HelenaDammers
At least they didn't shoot you.
Those sort of comments are childish.
🫤🫤🫤🫤
She finds a _lack_ of material on your record suspicious? I find the fact that she finds that _suspicious_ suspicious.
But this feeds into this notion that _I_ have long held. It's not enough to have properly funded and trained police departments in this country. Private citizens also need dashcams in their cars so law enforcement personnel know they're in danger of being caught if they get out of line.
That's crazy 🫤
She didn't go with the lesser offence to be nice, she did it because the larger the ticket the more likely you are to actually take it to court and have it end up on her record.
I've never had bad experiences with traffic police, neither in Germany nor in Austria.
I really hope that something like that won't happen to you again.
One main reason for the differences is the number of law enforcement agencies in each country.
Germany has 19: one for each of the 16 states and three federal agencies. Municipal law enforcement (AKA the "Ordungsamt") isn't typically considered "police".
America, on the other hand, has about 18,000 law enforcement agencies.
The crime (probably): Driving while black.
Another possibility: Many cops are actually on drugs.
So she may have been tripping balls & hallucinating. 😵💫👍🏼
that makes me feel a little better :P
Get a dashcam
I don't understand this. Can the cop give you a ticket for speeding without any kind of evidence, possibly just making things up?
Where I live, they can't give you a ticket without proof from a device that has all the paperwork that it was calibrated and functioning properly and it had to have made a picture etc etc.
Wow, Hayley, you missed an opportunity to get thrown in jail for asking the cop how their daytime job was working out. To their dumbfounded face you could have said "Yeah, your sales pitch for grade A bovine fertilizer is top notch".😂😂
Well… would you bail me out?
@@HayleyAlexis Sure, if the bail is within a five digit number. Cause for his abuse of power you could sue him out of his job and house. 😂😂
Nah, sorry, being of mixed ethnicity in the USA the chance of being "accidentally unalived for 'resisting arrest'" is far too high. So please, Hayley, I and the rest of your subscribers still want you around for a long time, keep on a cool head, swallow your pride and get out of the reach of bovine fertilizer salespeople. They aren't worth it.
My main advice would be to invest in a decent dashcam with at least 2 cameras (one for showing whats going on in front of you and another one what happens behind your back. Those systems are not that expensive and it not only helps you in proving your point in regards to traffic violations but as well in good footage when you encounter gators or other wildlife for some YT content. May even help you arguing with your insurance company in case of wildlife or other accidents.
For the actual incident it depends if this warning ticket will be added to your police /driving record (I don't know the rules for US / FL in that detail). If it won't be added, I wouldn't do anything and just chalk it up to experience. However if added, I would check what you can do as it might be considered by law officials in case of a future incident.
Damned if you do, damned if you don´t! What the fuck do they expect of people if can't have a record, but also cannot have a record?
what I learned from audit the audit: cops are allowed to lie.
they were for sure looking for additional things, and the speeding was just an initial reason for you to get pulled over. usually people aren't that aware of the exact speed they were going.
furthermore, always consider, that you are driving while black. if the cop hadn't seen your hospital equipment, the next step would have probably been to ask you for a field sobriety test, and it's at the disgression of the cop to fail you. next step is an illegal search of your car.
a) have a dashcam. one of the good ones that have a camera to the front, the back and the interior, ideally one that can even be pointed at the driver side window.
b) remain calm. arrest for resisting is a common thing.
depending on how big the violations by the cop are, in the long run, this could lead to a multi thousand dollar settlement with the cops, in your favour.
c) cops are allowed to lie to you. and they will lie. that's the difference to german cops: they are not allowed to lie. they also have no quota on how many people they have to pull over.
Am I the only one who read "How to get a ticket in the USA" in the beginning 😄 With the light hearted music this was funny
Shocking. They lied.
I am shocked, I say!
Standard US police practise.
I've been driving for 48 years and have nothing on my driving record. Nothing suspicious about being a safe driver with defensive driving habits.
Some point out to have dash cam and it’s a very good idea
FWIW - In Ireland it is illegal to be on your cell phone while driving...
She was probably using blue tooth, especially having a new car with all the technology.
It's illegal in America too. I wondered why the policewoman didn't point that out.
@@timcarr6401
I'm confident it was hands-free talking over the car entertainment system connected to her phone.
Most new cars have hands free connections to your phone. Once a phone matches to a car the link up is automatic.
Are you sure that wild hog cop was a real cop? Sounds like you evaded a serial killer!
I am pretty sure he was.... but yes it does sound like the beginning of a horror movie
The biggest problem is the quality of police work in the USA. The Regular Officer in Blue is drilled at the academy in the USA in 15 - 16 weeks and that is NOT FAR enough time to produce quality. In Germany, a police officer undergoes 30 MONTHS of dual training in sports, law, security, self-defense, first aid, etc. so that he can become a high-quality officer. Even then, In Germany, not all officers complete the training because of the hard training. German police officers are civil servants and are therefore paid by the state, whereas in the USA the municipality or city usually provides the money for the officers and hires and fires them at will. So if an official doesn't perform well, and in the USA that means arrests and reports, then he's not considered effective and is more likely to be fired. Accordingly, it is standard in the USA that a large number of innocent people are brought before a judge. After all, almost 40% of all prison inmates in your country are proven innocent. This compulsion to arrest the officers is also why your prisons are so full. After all, with 4.8 percent of the world population, the USA accounts for a full 28% of all prison inmates on this planet.
39 years ago in Brea, Southern California, on April 15th 1985 (yes, last day to mail the tax returns, that’s why I remember the exact date so well) I was just starting to enter an intersection, where the street I was on (West Fir Street) had the right of way and the slightly narrower street crossing it (S. Walnut Ave) had the STOP signs - it was not a 4-way-crossing, at least back then, and as I was going straight on W. Fir Street east towards S. Brea Blvd there was no need for me to stop (again, I had the right of way), but because I’d just gone over one of those lovely deep dips before many southern California intersections funneling rain water to the gullies resp storm drains, I was still very slow - luckily - because suddenly, and without any signals, a big truck with huge tires coming from the opposite direction, driving west on W Fir Street, turned left into S. Walnut Ave. going south, and drove right into the bright yellow company car I was driving that day. Though I immediately tried to turn right into S. Walnut Ave - to avoid at least being T-boned by that huge truck, the other driver (a woman, whom I later thought must have been under the influence, she claimed she never saw me, and that I must have come from S. Walnut Ave to her right going south and I must have run the stop sign) kept right on coming and came to a stop only after she hit me, dragging me further into that street, my door being somewhat smashed and blocking my exit (I had a fun time getting out of the car, climbing over the other seat and my son to the other door), I clearly remember the top rim of that huge right front tire on eye level about 4 inches away when we came to a stop … a truly terrifying moment.
Luckily I wasn’t hurt except for a couple small bruises and neither was my 4 year old son who was in the other seat, whom I had just picked up from the Montessori school about 100 yards behind us, and for whom I had just signed out a couple minutes ago noting the exact time (they had a ⏰ sitting right next to the sign out sheets).
That’s rather important because there was absolutely no possible way I could have had - in that short time since signing out my son at that particular Montessori school - entered this intersection from S. Walnut Ave going south, which had the stop sign. Because of a nearby smallish park, skate park and golf course between 2 residential neighborhoods there were a lot of dead end streets, and one could only enter that street (with the stop sign) from a major street (Imperial Hwy) at least a 4 minute drive away, which I took every morning to take my son to the school (we lived on W. Imperial Hwy), but which I could not use for the way home after I had picked him up, because one couldn’t make a left turn from S. Walnut Ave. onto Imperial Hwy going west, and I needed to go left to drive home. So, driving the way I did, the long way around, was the only way to get out of this awkward block.
Anyways, someone called the cops, they came, a male and a female cop. I described to them truthfully what happened and where I came from, but the other driver claimed I came from the other street and ran the STOP sign and I was at fault … I told the female cop (the male had gone to direct traffic around our 2 vehicles) that it simply wasn’t possible that I came from that other street and that I could definitely prove it with the time and signature in the Montessori school 100 yards behind me, and would she PLEASE come with me to the school and see for herself. She said that’s not necessary and that she wouldn’t do that and she didn’t believe me. The cops MUST have been familiar with the layout of the streets around that area, and what was possible and not possible - and that cop👮 MUST HAVE WILLFULLY LIED !
By that time she’s seen my California drivers license and - stupid me - my Green Card showing that I’m German (though she noticed my accent anyways, which was still very noticeable after only 7 years in the USA, though my English was very fluent by then) - maybe she didn’t like Germans or something like that …
I begged her to use logic and to come to the school with me … to no avail.
She gave me a citation for RUNNING A STOP SIGN AND CAUSING AN ACCIDENT !!!!!!!! Me, when I was totally blameless and did everything correctly.
I didn’t understand the world anymore at that moment. Growing up in Germany, the police was “your friend and helper” and then this. I had never had an accident in the USA before that one (no tickets/citations either) and never had another accident in the USA thereafter, and I left the USA for good at the end of 1989.)
Well, my company said don’t worry about it, they’ll get a new company car and they’ll also pay for my ticket and it’s not worth fighting it, nor is it worth fighting this false accident report (I was a very valued and well liked employee), the insurance will pay and though I argued that they shouldn’t let lies and falsehood win, they wouldn’t budge, too much trouble for such little damage (that big truck had hardly a scratch) - but it rankled me so very much, hurt my sense of honesty and fairness so much, that I still remember the accident to this day.
For quite a long time I was so furious about that cop, I told others that I understood now how one could turn into a terrorist. I was terribly hurt. I’m truthful to a fault says my husband, can’t even say a little white lie to save myself.
I’ve forgiven that stupid b…. of a cop since, or at least, as a good Christian I hope I did, but I cannot forget that incident, and for a long time, I wished that stupid, lazy, lying cop that she’d get some serious disease or something that would hurt her core like her action and lie hurt me. I can’t even remember her name anymore, after nearly 4 decades, and luckily since then I’ve never had a similar experience where I was denied justice.
And I’m happy to be living in Germany again, where one normally doesn’t have to fear for one’s life if stopped by the cops …
I wonder whether they have to show prove of what they accuse you. I think every cruiser has a dashcam. So they should be able to show the alleged pursuit. And perhaps you should also install a dashcam in your car. Then you could prove your innocence.
This boar story reminds me of the bisons I encountered in Wyoming (Yellowstone NP) at night. It was pitch dark then. And they were basically on the shoulder of the road, luckily, when we passed them. Since the speed limit in the NP is usually 30mph I was not that fast. But I only noticed them at the last minute. I vouch for reflectors on bisons like the ones on Amish buggies.
Hello Hayley. It looks like you let your hair grow a bit longer. So maybe there is a chance in the near future we can see that beautiful asymmetrical haircut again ?
... should have road signs saying
"Caution: Police crossing"
Do alligators seem friendly in comparison already?
The alligators don't mean any harm... they just want to eat a fish and keep it moving
Maybe the police has a quote to fulfill. Thats the usual stuff.
But also consider the political situation. As you told police can bring you in a lot of trouble with this kind of accusations.
Florida has very strict voting regulations. To criminalize (black, Democrats) people is also used to intimidate the 'wrong' voters.
Stay safe❤
If you get a speering ticket in my country it is only based on solid proof pic of your car speeding or police show you a mesuering device with your speed.
And if you get pulled over for one ofence for sure you can not get worning for something else ( if your car and papers are ok ). In any case you have to sign the paper that you agree with offence.
I wouldn't mind about that I experienced quite a lot trouble in Germany back then, either you stand up in your life or others will run over you ... that's the rule of life. Just easy peasy walking through life won't work.
Please grant me the joy of correcting your English as a German 😆 1:37 *told
😆😆 THANK YOU
Wait, you did not pointed out to the police officer that you just did a uturn and could be the driver observed at the church?
there a 80% chance this is the first video of Hayley's auditing channel 🤣
Oh no... I have too much of a slick mouth!
What do you expect in country where lying is common and mostly has no consequences.
Get a dashcam with GPS speed display and you will always have proof of how you really drove.
Here is what happened.
The cop simply made a mistake, most likely mistook you for someone else.
The other cop made the initial cop aware of this.
Cops have one thing in common with everyone else, that is they are human, no one wants to admit they made a mistake, so she tried to save face by issuing a warning since nothing will come of it.
Yes it's wrong, welcome to the human race.
Here is my advice for you, get a dash camera, one for the front and one for the rear, this will save you from all sorts of problems since video speaks for it self.
So your driving record is "too good to be true" :D That tells us that the cop probably occationally doesn't mind to break the rules themselfs in private when they feel like it.
I'm so sorry this happened to you, but I'm not surprised! I've noticed that good cops don't last very long in that field! They get drowned out too much by the awful ones including the Chiefs and some of the commanders. Like some of the other commenters have said, I think it would be in your best bet to invest in a dash cam.
Don’t they have to prove that you were speeding? This is crazy that they just can say that you did it and lie!!! 🤔
Not fair at all because what you got pulled over for did not happen. Period. She shouldn't have given you a warning at all. She should have said, "my apologies, it appears I stopped the wrong person, you're good to go". End of story. Last year I got pulled over for allegedly "turning at a light too fast". I got off with a warning also, but I checked my speed before I started to turn because I saw the officer posted clocking speeds before I even got to the light. So I shouldn't have even gotten a warning either. I can't stand hearing stories like this. I feel ya girl.
Rule #1: The police are always right. Rule #2: If the police are not right, Rule #1 automatically comes into force.
She was trying to save face. If you were speeding, no doubt you would have gotten the speeding ticket.
Sounds a lot like Polizeiwillkür. Get a dashcam, I say, with rearview. And a thing to record your speed.
Are you allowed to use your cell phone in the US while driving?
And most importantly: what colour were the eyes of the alligator 😂?
I wish that the community and highway were named so that we can avoid such speed traps!
I dont think you will be driving here anytime soon. Just look out for speed limit signs and adjust as needed when driving because at the end of the day it clearly didn't matter that I knew it was a speed trap ahead of time
Nearly all US cops are unskilled laborers creating revenue to match their quotas. And of course you are guilty of driving while black. Get a dashcam.
Didn't you just say, that she wasn't going to give you a ticket and just a warning?
How did you end up with a ticket then?
Canonball😅
similar happened many times to me, that police lie. I call them that they are in hunting to collect credits. Shame on them.
Driving while black. They are trained to stop black people. You were cut a break because you lived close by. You need a dashcam for both front and back with GPS.
people got things so unfair that they are taking their personal choices and decisions to any effin level to make sure they teach people hard lessons. Many youngsters turning to sexwork is a good example.
they got just 6 weeks of training, and dont lie isnt a topic!
You would have been safer in Europe because most modern cars, principally those with SOS buttons have 'Black Box' recorders that have a rolling update recording of vehicle data. This is supposedly to be used to assist the police in accident investigations but in this case it would prove how you drove, including probably recognising the 'U' turn.
Na dann bist du ja endlich richtig angekommen in great America. 😁
Hayley GET A DASHCAM PLEASE!!! One that records from the front/rear (dual) 4K as well as the Interior. Ask Mike for help. Seriously! Take Care!
Hi Heyley, america is proud of its justice. How can some sheriffs or however you call them give you tickets or even bring you to jail without a proof of your violence? I still can´t understand that the americans think it´s ok, if a sheriff has the law in his or hers hands. This is rediculous. But alot of things in the usa are strange anyway. USA is a system by it´s own. The best country in the world.😏
the classic joke: why did the alligator cross the road?
I’m not familiar with this classical joke, but to answer your question: maybe because it was a trans-alligator with a zebra-personality and thought it could cross safely.
The problem is not that there are bad cops: We are all humans, and some of us are bad, get over it. The real problem is how bad cops are treated: Typically they get away with it because their colleagues are just tribal enough to cover for them, and the judicial system either cannot or will not persecute them. Over here in Germany it's more of an institutional thing, in the US (AFAIK) it is made worse by the immunity often given to cops.
So the ages-old question remains: Who watches the watchmen?
Use a dashcam and film the cops with your mobile Phone. After court you can sue them to hell :) free money
This policewoman was probably just one bad apple in a whole basket of apples 🤣🤣🤣. The internet is full of police stops like this, where cops pull someone over and it's all about escalation, fantasies and retribution. They try to criminalize at all costs. I don't know what the background is, but I think it's about justifying the immense police funds and I suspect police officers also have quotas for offenses. Just the fact that she was surprised that you were driving for so long without having an offense shows that it's all about handing out tickets. The fact that she changed speeding to not obeying a stop sign proves the sheer arbitrariness and illegality of the action, which is covered by the qualified immunity. Guilty or not doesn't matter, in the end it's all about money .💰💰💰
Florida cops are horrible...
driving while black, law enforcement in the US is an industry/ rip off.
you were stopped for a fishing expedition.
can you despute it? what the hell?

Tu s einfach

TYL: the state is not your friend
Tryin to catch you ridin dirty. Smh.
Wann du singen Cops-Lied????
Naive European here, isn't it a plus that nothing happened? As far as I heared, cops get scared pretty easy over there, unloading whole magazins into people, because of fear and qualified immunity.
I think you did well, except the phone while driving, that is still a distraction.
Dash Cam Does a farmer near you have a Pig Brig?
Hey Hayley, I must say you have a very peculiar way of looking at the situation with the police officer. She did something nice for you? Unless you think she was honestly confusing you for another car and driver the only thing I can see is that she f-ed you over less than she could have. I'm sorry but people abusing their power is makes me... really angry. I'd have a lot more concise words for her if I didn't have so much respect for keeping a civil tone in your comment section.
I mean.... at least I didn't get shot... that is what I mean by being kind 🤣🤣
Hayley Alexis is all too right. One of the unofficial duties of American cops is the maintenance of White supremacy. Every day in America a cop murders a Black person. Traffic stops are known to be particularly dangerous for Blacks. That's why it is said: When a White man is pulled over he calls his boss to say he'll be late. When a Black man is pulled over he calls his wife to tell her he loves her.
Thanks for all your videos. I did not watch for quite a while an just saw a video from Lauren Angela about beauty standards DE/USA. If this very personal question is an insult, then please forgive me and ignore me… Did you re-adjust to american standards and bleached your teeth? They are frightening white and look very uncommon to my old german eyes… just curious. Cheers, Uwe
Hey Uwe, the question is on the border of rude.
I have never bleached my teeth, and I have never had work done on my teeth to make them straight or white. I brush my teeth twice a day (sometimes 3, depending on what I eat/drink) and rarely eat/drink stuff that could color my teeth- coffee/coke/juices, etc. This routine has been the same in Germany, and I used the same toothpaste in Germany as I do in the USA.
So whatever you deem uncommon is very common in my life. Using words like frightening/uncommon to describe my natural smile, natural teeth, and something that I have never changed or had work done on in my life is very much an insult.
@@HayleyAlexis Dear Haley, I‘m very sorry. I really enjoy your work and I‘m far away from trying to harm/insult you. It was just a coincidence with this Lauren Angela DE video and then seeimg you with this marvellous smile. Please take my apologies and thank for answering anyway. Congratulations for being blessed with such a smile. Please keep on using it.
I thought she said she was stopping you for speed. You should find out if they have body cam. She stated one thing and wrote another for something you hadn't done. She must be in error. Find a lawyer and fight it. Or you could try fighting it yourself, but I suspect you might get a little flustered in court ( or the judge/magistrate could just get totally confused from the description), but you should get everything documented (without alerting that cop) who will have not written up things properly in a statement, if they even made one. You should not have been cited for a stop sign violation when you were only advised that you were stopped for speeding. Too bad you don't have a dash cam. Fight this. I hate cops that lie. So I mean, you should get all recordings she made.
Name the church and location. Then reply "Funny, I didn't see you when I made two u turns.,"
