I love how he just freely uses metal utensils and let's them scrape against his non stick pans. Either he's ruining pans in every video on this channel or those are some magically awesome non stick pans where you can use metal utensils. Does anyone know?
It was my turn to Cook this week and I'm glad I stumbeled upon this dish, cause my family loved it! Will add this to my regulars :) Thanks Jamie and team xx
Sausage pasta is one of our all- time family favorites. Best of all, we get meat, carb and veggies in one dish without a lot of dishes to clean. I have been using wheat pasta lately and grate sweet potato into the pasta water.:)
This recipe is for 4 people. If I wanted to make, (try at least), one serving for myself , do I just divide the ingredient amounts by 4? Sorry but I have virtually no idea about cooking. Also do I need the same sort of pans that Jamie used?
The dish looks amazing I'm sitting in an office but all I can think of is cooking this pasta. But is it really okay to use metal cookware on T fal pans, I'm so afraid of hurting the coating.
The Spanish have really taken a disliking to your paella. What struck me the most was the energy the Spanish seemed to garner for hate. :/ Strange bunch. I am friends with tonnes of Spanish young adults who have moved over to England, and not one of them has cooked me a paella. I did eat some cold , pink spiced pork brought over from Spain however, although I actually suspect that it was horse. Broccoli stalks are fantastic and its one of the foods we now all turn our noses up at, along with things like liver and heart. These foods have been part of our diets for thousands of years but in the last 50 years, entire generations of westerners have abandoned them all. We just eat muscle and wholesome fruit and veg... ( proving you don't eat at macdonalds) This diet doesn't sound bad, however I do wonder what change it will have on humans. Food is very important and is one of the major contributing factors that changed us from tree dwelling apes to ground searching beasts, scavenging and then foraging and finally processing and preserving. The way we ate caused us to evolve. People do know this however and it's why the government elite have no quarms with serving this pap up to the poor. Grow your own veg. Cook your own food. Don't eat sweets from strangers.
A question that's been bugging me for ages: Why do you in most cases not put the lid on boiling water pots to save energy? (Weird to ask the question here bc you did but you get the idea.) Is it for camera purposes? Bc boiling water isn't that interesting. BTW, I do that broccoli-into-the-pasta-water thing, too.^^
It's nice to have recipes like this and I'm sure this tastes delicious. But, I'm sorry here, this just so forced to me. Like he literally quickly looked up what's better about whole wheat than regular pasta and what sort of vitamins and stuff is inside broccoli and now he's telling us that it's the best thing in the world. Doesn't anyone else feel like it just doesn't seem like it's a natural thing to do for Jamie? Still a good video, though.
agree about it not feeling natural, but you gotta believe that broccoli is objectively one of the better things you could possibly put in your mouth. (of course everything in moderation...)
Chocolate Chip pancakes You don't say? Can't quite believe that! No, seriously: I love broccoli and vegetables in general and I didn't mean to imply that Jamie was telling lies here. I'm just saying that it doesn't seem to be coming straight from his heart like he's telling us.
As far as I know Jamie has been passionate about healthy cooking for a long time. He's had other books about it, and even had TV cooking shows about it. So this seems pretty genuine to me.
AJ Brown If that's the case, then maybe it's just me. I love Jamies content and the way he presents it and this was one of the very few videos I could possibly find something to complain about.
I think that Jamie should stick with what he knows the best : Full English Breakfast, Traditional Fish And Chips , A Nice Roast beef Served with Yorkshire Pudding and Leave the Paella to the Spaniards!!! As He has Just butchered One of The Best Recipes in The Entire Universe !
TheYaziman How can he butcher it? If it tastes nice, it tastes nice. He’s an experienced chef, he knows it doesn’t have to be traditional for it to have the best flavour.
can you right the ingredients down the details sometimes can't pick the words of their highly speed of speech? I love your all recipes and don't want to waste one.
I have been making this for a long time. Didn't know Jamie had a video on this and everything I did was the same, except for red wine vinegar which I didnt use. And yes broccoli stalks, don't throw that away! Tired of telling this to people
As usual, wonderful recipe, Jamie!
Big love Mary-Jo!
I love this recipe!
Thank youuuuu!
Solid recipe, but could do with a dozen more of them chipolatas pal
this is soooo delicious.....full of flavours....soo good!
love to see the parmesan cheese get on top dissolve !

Thanks Jamie!! Retete minunate!!!
Brrriiiillll!!!
If anyone came near my non-stick pan with a pair of metal tongs I'd be ready for a fight; good looking pasta though.
Zachary Rose This are not some cheap pans u know
Great idea and recipe!!! thanks for sharing !!!
Thanks buddy!
Apparently there are people here who don't like to eat meat, and complain about it.
And they love to keep coming back and telling us. They also complain about people making free videos and then telling you they wrote a book.
Dutch playstationWarriors Yeah, I dont mind them believing what they do, but being rude and trying to force their problems and ideas on you is when it gets annoying.
I love how meat use to be alive..then it isn't....and then in my belly...
I despise a preachy vegan. Maybe we could eat them!!
People who tend to complain about meat, tend to complain everything else 🤷🏻♂️
300g of pasta for 4 people is really mean.

Jamie, why'd you use 2 half chillies instead of 1 full chilli. It's playing on my mind man 😰😰😰😰😰 lol
The other half is for garnish!
@@JamieOliver I thought you left out those half chillies because of the hot seeds and white membrane... How wrong was I...
Because two in the pot make it more hot then one good to eat

should be chilli instead of peppers; peppers are more often the term for capsicums which are quite different

Mmmmmm! What a BRILLIANT way to cram more veg into a dish - nice one dude!
Love his cooking. He’s amazing. Minus the dirty hands
I would def use less onion, but that's just me. I love pasta dishes like this. Reminds me of home.
You could totally adjust the level of onion in this - we're glad this recipe takes your down memory lane!
Chipolatas aka English sausage
Nice Pasta, well, going all in tomorrow on this one :) Thanx Jamie =) Best regards Sweden
Made this pasta yesterday. Freeaking awesome lol. Who knew simple ingredients like this could taste so awesome! Thank you, Jaime and team!
Bonjour vous nous manquez beaucoup
I used balsamic not red wine vinegar and it was outstanding!!
Can't wait to make this, quick question, what can I substitute the red wine vinegar for?
You could use a splash of balsamic vinegar - or just leave it out, you'll still have a DELICIOUS pasta dish at the end of it. Happy cooking!
hi what kind of seed is it? i dont understand what he said .thanks
Fennel. They're nice, slightly aniseedy
Hey jamie. Where can we contact you? Or send you email? Thanks.
you make it look so simple.. that's how much you have practiced
Don't forget Jamie has been doing this for YEARS - but this is a pretty simple recipe that anyone can enjoy, not just chefs!
yes! that's what I meant. I have been watching Jamie's Great Britain since years (India) on foxlife. And he is a sweetheart
great ..

Can I improvise and use chorizo? Jamie my good man..😏
I loved this video! Pasta looks amazing-- I can't wait to make it. Thanks Jamie and the team :)

Which olive oil is Jamie using for cooking in this video?
you are one of a kind. I love all your videos. you are so real, so passionate about your honest to goodness way of cooking. keep up the good work
British sausages are not that appealing! You should use german, Italian or even Brazilian sausages, they taste much better ;)

is this recipe good for a weight lifting with low calorie diet ?
Jamie always good surprising dishes 🌟🌟🌟
Glad you like it Amal! x

Jamie, you have forgotten salt and paper. :)
does everybody really through out the broccoli stalks. thats my favorite part
Traditionally, yes, people did
What a waste I blend that with boiled potatoes to make soup!
Lol why do I read it as sausage party xD
How about a sausage and pasta party?
I thought the title said "Sausage Party" 😂🙄
That happens afterwards...
Sausage and broccoli is a perfect marriage. I would rather take the skin off the sausage though.
I'm going to try that this week. it looks fast and delicious!
WOOHOO! Let us know how you get on Ryan!
Man this guy's good. He should have his own show on TV. Maybe even a cookbook.
he does
Oh does he? He should be selling pans with his name on then!
he also does that......-_- tefalbyjamieoliver if im not wrong
Funny you should say that...
Anton K did noone get this lmao
I don't have broccoli I have cauliflower what do you think ?
does his hands feel no heat??
Years in the kitchen makes your hands tough - Jamie could probably poke lava and be ok!
What can we use instead of sausage.??😑
ground beef? chicken breast maybe? seafood? or just dont use it, the dish would be still pretty good
If you want to keep it veggie - you could use vegetarian sausage, but if not, substitute in any meat that takes your fancy!
Penis
That's the kind of recipe I love to see from Jamie! Thanks a lot :)
Woohoo! Thanks Olivier!
what i really love about you...is that you really go for healthy...you fight for it too...and easy yummy food...we should have more people like you

If he was, his restaurant empire wouldn't have collapsed. He's just a chef who got thrown into TV at the right time.

Can we please stop pretending that this bowl of pasta serves more than 1 person?
I reckon a sausage sambo and a mug of tea would be just perfect 👌
Metal tongs? Non-stick pan? Sausage and teflon pasta more like.
Absolutely brilliant! there goes another one, into my archive! :)
Woohoo! We're so glad you like it! x
What was that white ingredient he sprinkled on the food after he was done?
he doesnt feel hot while touching those brocolli and chili ?
Where i can see paella con chorizo??
Made this for dinner tonight everyone loved it!
I tried this recipe, it was delicious. I imagine it would be just as good with salmon instead of sausage.
Fennel is perfect with pork sausage but I'd try it worth salmon. Just put salmon in near the end
