I'm surprised that Charlotte NC isn't on here. I'm in Kannapolis in the Charlotte metro area, where there are a lot of both Conservatives and liberals, but Charlotte is way too liberal for me to live there. I'm on Marjorie Taylor Green level of conservative
So I live in boston, Massachusetts. Massachusetts is the best state to live in when it comes to health Care and education. You'll notice that the most conservative or Republican states are always the worst ones to live in healthcare-wise. Our tax dollars go to keep States like Kentucky and Mississippi alive so don't complain about the so-called liberal cities or states.
Liberalism in the Northwest is kind of different from liberalism in the South though. In my observation, Portland, Seattle, Denver, Boulder, Minneapolis are the only “real” liberal areas in the US. New Orleans, Baltimore, and Memphis are liberal cities because African Americans would only vote for the party that helps them. But with the high African American population in those supposedly liberal cities, religion is still a huge thing in those cities since African Americans are the most religious people in America. Unlike those liberal Southern cities, liberal cities in the Northwest (and some in the Midwest) are more European- influenced: people are less religious and people are more success-driven. Portland, Seattle, Denver, Minneapolis, and Boulder are all great examples of what true “liberal” cities are! Baltimore, New Orleans, Memphis, St. Louis are only liberal on the surface (but are actually very socially conservative). Liberalism in the Northwest cares about racial equality, environment, gender equality, atheism, access to education. Liberalism in the South cares about welfare, crime, African Americans, poverty, religion... they’re very different!
The Federal Government, US HUD Department and private contractors are responsible for the vast majority of house-building in the United States, so blaming "liberal" cities like San Francisco for their homelessness problems is pretty pointless. The central government is simply not building enough houses, and never has done since the 1937 Housing Act.
Too bad more people are immigrating to these major cities, worsening the already present homeless problems. I mean would it be far off to assume as more people enter urban areas, the number of those homeless or in poverty increases? Just a thought. There are other factors of course. But mass migration isn't doing anybody any favors. Well except maybe large corporations that take advantage of low-cost labor, and regulations.
Yeah and a Liberal governor recently signed into law much needed funding for public transit. Which was passed by an overwhelming Liberal state legislature. Which was partially done thanks by a gas tax hike. I don't mind if these tax hikes are going to a good cause. Because Illinois must be rebuilt from the ground up and soon.
Hmm Ryan well we could look at this it says Richland county is pretty pro trump en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/2016_United_States_presidential_election_in_Ohio#By_county
Very surprised Chicago isn’t here. It’s ruined this state for years, especially southern Illinois. The poverty down there can compare to places in Kentucky and West Virginia.
Seattle, Portland, San Francisco and L.A have lots of homeless people because they're highly sought after. Highly sought after places tend to be much more expensive. Poorer people can't afford homes in these cities, hence they become homeless. Liberal and conservative doesn't have anything to do with it.
I agree, Portland's position surprised me. I said aloud, "Only 9th?" The reason we Portlanders are crazy (though Seattle is crazier) is because of the weather. Cloud cover six months a year. At 3:07 you can see the huge amount of green downtown, the result of our infamous, persistent rain. We have evolved to have Seasonal Affective Disorder from birth. However, for the last few decades, the summers have been super hot and water rationing has even been implemented in the hottest months - I can't tell you how weird that feels to us. It's bizarre, like pumping your own gas or paying sales tax.

I'm surprised that Charlotte NC isn't on here. I'm in Kannapolis in the Charlotte metro area, where there are a lot of both Conservatives and liberals, but Charlotte is way too liberal for me to live there. I'm on Marjorie Taylor Green level of conservative
I'm actually quite surprised Los Angeles is not on this list
it's like 18th. i was too. do you live in LA?
0:02 Nothing wrong with saying hentai is art because it is art 😂😂
agreed and i'm not even liberal lmao
Gotham city in the new joker movie represents every single democratic city in the US
Love your videos man I'm just going down the list!
I find it interesting that a city as huge and diverse as New York City could be as extreme either way.
Hey nick your videos are great :) 👍🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Hey Phil!!
Wow a Bernie 2020 ad just came while watching this video and I kinda support Trump
Haha LOTS of people got Bernie ads before this video! We're draining his funds
Lol
You always struck me as a liberal Mr. Johnson lol
70 pct of New Orleans is from Yankeeland by the way
And all of these northerners live in the East or in Central City or Hollygrove. LOL
Boston LA SF
You're my favorite RUclipsr. Keep up the hard work.
Haha thanks Jenna 😀
I am shocked that Chicago is not the list
Yeah and a Liberal governor recently signed into law much needed funding for public transit. Which was passed by an overwhelming Liberal state legislature. Which was partially done thanks by a gas tax hike. I don't mind if these tax hikes are going to a good cause. Because Illinois must be rebuilt from the ground up and soon.
I did not know what a comedian this Nick was.
Having watched both this and your 'Most Conservative Cities' video, I've noticed you really wear your bias on your sleeve, huh? Haha
Kinda
Fair enough
yeah the dude is a real MAGAt
Hey Konata, how's Kagami doing these days? :^)
Wasn’t NOLA on one of your poorest city lists? That’s probably why they don’t donate
Makes sense :)
Lmao at the Billy phone call. Good stuff buddy.
Nick do you think you can make a video of the top 10 most conservative cities in Ohio? I like to know if Mansfield, OH is one of them.
Hmm Ryan well we could look at this it says Richland county is pretty pro trump en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/2016_United_States_presidential_election_in_Ohio#By_county
Thank you for highlighting the truly intelligent Americans! We could never live in Kentucky!
Yes, banning plastic straws while simultaneously handing out plastic drug needles on the tax payer dime certainly seems truly intelligent.🤪
Very surprised Chicago isn’t here. It’s ruined this state for years, especially southern Illinois. The poverty down there can compare to places in Kentucky and West Virginia.
Chicago is 11th :)
Seattle, Portland, San Francisco and L.A have lots of homeless people because they're highly sought after. Highly sought after places tend to be much more expensive. Poorer people can't afford homes in these cities, hence they become homeless. Liberal and conservative doesn't have anything to do with it.
No lol conservatives states have no problem
@@TheKumarImpressions all cities have homelessness problems, conservative or liberal.
I feel like these videos should be made without bias to attract more of an audience. So disappointing.
Did you really call ☎️ someone in Portland ? 😂😂
Candy sounds like a place with a lot of energy!
Portland should be number 1 it’s dirtier than SF
Mappy's married? :( There goes my chance!!
Noooooo maybe there's a chance for you!!
@@NickJohnson YAY !!!!!! ;)
Nappy? Really?
nick it brings joy to me that you wear your conservative badge proudly i think its one of the reasons your channel is crowing so fast obtw if you want to see a great movie go see once upon a time in hollywood staight flame
i will watch that on the jailbroken firestick :)
That is exactly why. The phony pc crap is getting old.
Some people in NYC want Rudy to come back?
I live in conservative small town il. It sucks
which one??
Detroit or Cleveland
Which city do you like more
I’m gonna say Detroit
I haven't been to Detroit but I think I'm gonna go there and record the worst parts in a week or two.
@@wildchaser9892 they both suck so bad it's hard to choose. I'll pick Cleveland, I think it's slightly less of a disaster.
funny video Nick thanks
Welcome to DC 🙄 lot of job opportunities and a lot of liberals, just have to be quiet about politics😂 still as a state avoid California
Denver! Los Angeles! Phoenix! Things have changed
I love your videos Nick Johnson
That's cool I love you for being nice 😉
