- Inzaghi's reputation screwed him over on this one. Pipo Inzaghi was renown for his incredible positioning, being in the right place at the right time, and his excellent finishing. However, he was also known for being offside A LOT. In this video, watch how his offside reputation might have led to him being called for an extremely wild and incorrect offside call. The linesman who made the call has gotten himself in other controversial situations in the past as well.

The linesman is Rafa Guerrero from Spain. He got famous in La Liga due to his often absurd calls and attention-seeking.
“Cagonmimadre, Rafa” (Spanish expression to show disrespectful incredulity before somebody’s actions or words… sort of “My ass!”) became a catchphrase in Spain after another referee was recorded live reacting in awe and exasperation to one of Rafa’s calls.

That day he was right It was penalti and red card, he did well his job that day, but the referee freaked out because It was last minute of the Game, but the Zaragoza player punched the Barcelona player, i watched many games from Rafa Guerrero and he wasnt a man Who find attention and he was good and profesional, greetings.
When you're a linesman and you're not 100% sure and it's Inzaghi, then it's probably offside.
