Agreed. I never got the chance to watch Static Shock on TV as it ended when I was too young to actually watch it, but after I accidentally discovered it, he has become one of my favourite teen heroes of all time
this is a crazy great tv show, unfortunately it didn’t make into the 21 century modern day children,, shows like this should never be taken off the air unless actually necessarily, during these black lives matter. protest and police brutality this show only lasted for one season which is unacceptable

I’m sorry but I’ve heard too many people call Batman Beyond ‘underrated’ for it to even be considered underrated at this point. It’s the most reckognized iteration of Batman outside main earth Bruce Wayne.

@@SiNKarnage Yeah. Warner announced they were working on a Static Shock movie a while back. With their current creator-driven strategy, the quality of the film all depends on the director and writers chosen. Fingers crossed they make the right choices!🤞

Electromagnetic manipulation allows for light manipulation too right? Wouldn't that mean Static could potentially manipulate pure light energy and generate light blasts?

I know this is late but Static did make that sign for the police to pick up the thugs. And in later episodes, he just blasts Ebon with light just like in the opening (I could be wrong though). Plus, he uses his powers to light up dark areas like when the school was attacked at night.

And I also heard that he is not using the real costume on the show static shock he is using the comic static I do not know what to feal right know should I feel sad or happy.
@@axolfox2707 If he's using the original comic as a basis you should feel happy because it's fairly close to the animated series but is perfect for a pg-13 adaptation.

It’s been 3 years of a rumored live action movie and it’s now 2024.. this series came out when I was 5 years old… and now I’m 29 with my own family still waiting to relive the nostalgia. DC, on behalf of every African American 90s kid we need this to happen. The kids nowadays all have similar hair style and personality like static shock and no superhero to relate to. If casted right I can see this film starting a movement

I just want to suggest u DC as a fan. Batman is the greatest superhero, no doubt. But ytilise ur other heroes , villains , anti everything. Thats what makes a great Comic company. Mister Miracle , Swamp Thing etc. They are so well written. In est time in other characters too. Hope DC will rise again from the hate. 🙌🙌
