I suspect the two main reasons people dislike these disruptions is because they want the leisurely experience of being powerleveled and the compound-case of not knowing you dont lose anything when you die (the msg prompt is the same from pvm death and you do lose xp) and not grasping that you can remove the hostility to go through portals.
