Yeah so I like bought 2 of these for a customer's business and the 1st one didn't work just keeps flashing red blue light and doesn't charge anymore only charged once and still didn't work. The second one seems to work, but it is very unreliable and the battery goes flat very fast. It is also very confusing.

Hi mine doesnt charge at all,blue light flashes but when sd card is in it wont charge,both red and blue lights come on,it doesnt enter standby,it allways shows both blue and red leds.mine is defo not working,ile give it an hour charge and see if it makes a differance,ive only charged for ten minutes surely that would be enough for ust a few minutes to see if it works,i think lipo is duff as its probly been left uncharged for to long,any ides why ime getting both red and blue lights on all time and some times when swich it on it just vibrates on and off for a short while then dies.

Remember guys this first came out as a good device,then it was cloned so some of the cheap ones will be cloned and wonk work well or may work differently to the origanal ones,seems ive a cheap clone that doesnt work,also the batterys may be dead when you get them so try solder in a new one if you have one or are able to do somine just wont charge,its flashing blue but doesnt hold charge,also when sd card is in it doesnt show the blue flashing led when charging so may be the sd card,may only take a small one mine is 15gig.

How do you use camera as a web cam?
Windows XP finds and installs camera as USB Video device, but when I try to open it, it says Creation of the video preview failed, please chech the device connection and make sure that device is not being used by another app or user.
Also when I use motion detection feature, in standby I press K3 short, the camera just keeps recording and doesn't stop when there is no moving objects.
Is there any driver or software for this cam?

mine doesnt record when i short click button 3. can you help? i short click walk in front of it when its ready and then short click it again but when i check us sd card it doesnt show the motion recordings. Only thing that work is the cam and video cam which is button 2. can u help?
Can I record only audio (wav, mp3) format separately ?
You have to push the micro card in further till you feel it click.
It is very deep and spring loaded. Once you get it all the way in it will work.
I figured it out on my own after pushing it with my nail very hard and deeper into the unit. hope this helps a lot of people.

I have one of these. It's good, but not great. Mine supposedly can do 720p, but it's definitely not doing that. It's more like 640x480.
Even though the device can take a microSD card up to 32GB, it can only record for about 2 to 2 1/2 hours total before the battery runs out. It will also only record for half an hour max before stopping. In movement sensor mode, it will only remain in stand-by for half an hour before turning off.

You forgot to give instruction on the "audio record mode". I think I figured that out. Yes it has an audio record mode, and vibrates 4 times to let you know it is recording audio.
How do you activate it ?

You must ON the device before you insert connect to your computer!
Moreover, you need to format your memory card to FAT32 format.
Hi, help please, I'm having a problem with this cam, I bought it last year november, used it couple of times and was working fine. Since than, havnt used this for 3 months and today when i tried to take video and watch it, it has problem with frame rates, its lagging when there is a moving object. what is wrong with this, thanks cheers
Thank you ! before I saw your video, I didn't even know I had to put a card , as it came without notice in any normal language.
I bought one of these, but I can't find a way to change the video from 640x480 to higher res, as it's meant to be able to do. Plus, when leaving it in motion detection mode, the damn thing turns off after only a few minutes, making it pretty useless. It also won't record more than 30 mins video at a time when just left to record, despite taking a 32GB TF card.
how do you charge these things ?

the video left out that you can record only audio . pres k1 and in standby mode press k1 shortly again to start to record audio. when finished press k1 shortly again to stop recording and this will return to standby mode
Most of these cameras (key, hour camera) does not always work according to this principle. I never know whether I'm recording or not. Commands are not responding as in the instructions. Personal experience with the key, watch, pen and camera.
Hi when i connect mine to a computer its not recognised, its says theres an 'I/O error'. Any help?
Thing fell apart after a month! The but tens aren't supported br anything behind them except a soldered switch which looseness over time and breaks. The switches are good for maybe 100 or so pushes b4 they break. don't waste your money!

I just got one of these yesterday and I charged it but all it does is when I turn it on is I got the first vibrate then it stops for a sec or 2 then it vibrates 20 times one after another and then shuts down.....I put in an tf card out of the one I had in my phone but still nothing.....Can u help????:(:(:(
