This is a my "new" local food pantry in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.
This is a once a month emergency food pantry that can be accessed. It was a walk over to it. You register for a time slot online. They ask some questions about you and your household. They ask what kind of food you like. They let you pick from options that they offer. Then you show up at the slotted time for your food. It is a wonderful resource for our community.
Anyone who lives within the catchment can access this food pantry.
If you and your family are struggling with food insecurity, consider calling 211 or 311 in Ottawa to find out what is available for you. Go to your local catchment food pantry. They are here to help all of us.

I am providing two links for grocery gifts cards. The four stores that are near me which sell groceries are: Wal-Mart, Loblaws/Independent, Metro, and Freshco/Sobeys. Instacart, Uber, and Door Dash are three others that deliver from other stores throughout the city. There is Dollarama where I can purchase some snacks and a few grocery items.

You could make sticky rice balls and use a mixture of meat and veggies. I would recommend taking all the veggies and make veggie soup with the tomatoe juice and a slice of bread 😊
We like soup. I know someone who made hamburger soup out of different cans of soups. It was interesting. It wasn't bad either. 😊

The food bank haul is always wonderful, This was nice sis. Here is a recipe for some with the rice, and a few veggies of your choice.
Baked creamy rice recipe:
Can or fresh veggies of your choice
4 cups of water
Salt & pepper
A few other seasoning
Maybe a little onion 🌰 or the powder
Mix well in a non stick pan
You can add cheese if you want to
Bake for 45 minutes
Cool for 5 to 6 and serve 👌 😊 you can add meat like chicken or ground beef. But cook the meat 1st before adding it into your meal

I learned a long time ago only to use ariel/tide laundry soap and dawn dish liquid
I don't break out or itch and dawn gets my dishes clean and tide ariel gets our clothes clean even with cold water

Can I make sushi with no seaweed, fish oils, etc? It is becsuse of a fish allergy. 😊
