Care Centre is a mobile food pantry in Ottawa. It is a once a month emergency food pantry that can be accessed. I walked over to it but most people who use it drive. They ask some questions about you and your household. They ask what kind of food you like and let you pick from options they offer. It is a wonderful resoorce for our community. Anyone can access this food pantry. It is opened to all residents living in Ottawa.
If you and your family are struggling with food insecurity consider calling 211 or 311 in Ottawa to find out what is available for you. Go to your local catchment food pantry. They are here to help all of us.

It was a wonderful variety of food. I need apple recipes right now. We seem to have lots of apples. I'm happy and grateful for them. My kiddies eat them. Thank you ❤😊

Nice pantry haul . lol I thought that carton of donuts were eggs till you said something . What you called banana squash we call spaghetti squash , cut it lengthwise remove the seeds put it in a pan with a little water cover and cook till tender, with a fork rake out the inside you can add a bit of butter , salt and pepper to taste . My Dad was a diabetic and he would eat the squash instead of pasta on spaghetti nights sometimes we did a mix of both . Very Yummy . Happy cooking . 🤠🙏✝️💕💕💕
Yes it is called speghitgi sqash top. I like to stuff it then bake it. Maybe, if I feel good enough, I can do a video for it. When I was growing up we ate it as dessert. Cut it open, clean it, bake it with some butter and covered up, flake the squash out, then add some brown sugar to it. My kids really like it that way too. I have never boiled it in water though. 😊❤

Great haul today! If you add 1/2 lb ground beef with 2 cans of the vegetable soup and serve over rice you could really stretch it.

Im going to my food bank this week and then going to Costco on Thursday . Teddy had fun at the dog park and we had leftover lasagna for dinner 😊 . Many hugs , prayers and belly rubs for the fur babies . Its gonna be almost 90 degrees tomorrow ( hot ) , tux did a great job ❤❤❤❤ and the care center gives good stuff 😊
Care Centre did wonderful. They really helped us with food. How was Costco? I like their ice cream cones. They are huge and cheap for a special kiddies treat.
Give Teddy many ear scratches and a treat from us ❤😊
