Hey all! I didn't mention it in the video but for both the infinite spawning monsters and resetting enemy farming/MP restoring methods, if you aren't restoring MP or aren't leveling a specific Archetype on your MC, you can use the Merchant lineage to farm large amounts of money too.
i did this on the mimic dungeon for the cursed ring because i thought the marked chest was going to be the monster so i overfarmed with the crowd of minions on the right and when i went to what i thought was the boss i just opened the chest and sat there like a dumb mf but at least i got 300k gold
been loving the fact dialogue options only affect magla gains - it's so "freeing" to just pick what I want, instead of sticking to the options with the most affection points~
Completely agree, i've always found it annoying that i have to play persona games with my phone out to choose the best dialogue choices. this is a much better way of having choice matter, but being far less punishing.
Honestly a good compromise is make it so that confidants/social links always rank up but the dialouge choices effect wether they will hate or have problems with you (if your choice of words are really bad) and that if you always agree with their dialouge option them on their every idea that might lead them into harm which causes the confidant/social link to fail. In this was our dialouge choices do matter to (A) if we choose really bad and offensive choices it negatives affect their impression of us and (B) if we only choose dialouge options that leads to us just going along with everything they said will lead to harm (just like in real life friends are supposed to always question and makesure their friends are in the right mindset.
I like the way you deliver these tips videos. You have a nice, even tone, you don't speak too slow or too fast, and you don't ramble - just the necessary information with clear and simple wording. Thank you for making such helpful content 🙂
No respec for the MC is a huge letdown for me. I spent the whole game leveling him as a warrior while dumping points into strength and now I found myself with 3 strength-based characters in my team which I didn't want. Respec should be there to correct these mistakes because there's no way to predict what kind of party members you will get during your journey and since you can't remove the MC from the party well... you're screwed. Guess I'll never use the other 2 strength based characters.
Awesome information. Question about NG+. Since your level resets to 1 on NG+, does any stat boost you get from incense, washing clothes, etc carry over to NG+? Like how the jazz club stat boost in P5R carryover to NG+? Thanks!
To be honest I didn't pay attention. On my first run I was going pretty quickly in order to gather information and whatnot so I didn't actually interact with a lot of bonus stat-up activities. Update: I double-checked to compare pre-NG+ saves with NG+ saves and it appears stat boosts from things such as items, bathing, washing clothes, etc. do not carry over.
Brigitta - Merchant - gives discounts also to stores on higher level on top. Did you notice if the Archetype unlock is discounted on NG+ ? because the bond levels do provide discounts.
Aiming to have a video going over end-game builds sometime next week. I had originally planned to do a lot more for Metaphor but a number of things got in the way of that.
I've been wondering... have anyone figured where to farm/hunt stat boost incense yet? I finished the game and restarted on regicide however the time needed to reach the bath option is quite long considering how it goes and also, enemies on SMT and even Persona had a drop chance to get those from time to time. I'd expect their drop be very rare or even requiring the merchant 2nd tier to bring both item drop passives while hunting. I can confirm one possible drop though at early game... we can farm Mag boost incence from the gargoyles at the capital(there are many on it but drop is kinda very low, i wish we had acess to all our arch and 4 skill slots from start... would run the 2 item drop boost alongside Ninja class from the start while beating everything trying to find/meet what drops what e.e.
Just two questions but what royal virtues should I prioritize? I want to complete the most I can in me play through, and I’m struggling on which virtues to rank up first.
How do I remove that annoying buff on Fismonger that spams dodging in the earthworm human? What archetype do I use in Metaphor ReFantazio for that? And how do I exit the game on PC during a story fight? I need to change my archetype.
Do you get a heads up every time you can level up your royal virtue status more by picking the right dialogue? I prefer that they removed it from ranking up bonds and hope they keep this in Persona 6.
There is no heads up as to whether or not you chose the right option; you will get the point pop-up if you chose an option that gives them, but whether or not that was the option that gives the most you won't know without trial and error.
@@RozalinGaming no I got that it won't tell you which choices gives you the most. I meant more will you always get a heads up before such conversation starts. It can level up your virtues? So you can save scum if you want to when it comes to see if any other choice could give you more points. But either way it won't be like you went into a conversation not knowing that you could have a chance at leveling up the virtues at all? Since I'm sure like in persona there are sometimes only 1 answer that will give you 1-3 notes. And to be clear again I don't mean giving you a heads up before each answer that this has a chance to give you some virtue poknts. I mean does it always let you know at the start of the conversation?
@@Bacbi Oh, yes, no, and kinda? Many activities will tell you if you will gain RV from it and if there are dialogue options in those chances are one will give more than the others. But there are instances in which you are given no warning and may completely miss points as well.
Should I focus on my main character unlocking all arc types or also on all my party members? It seems like it would take a long time to unlock everything on every party member.
You get permanent stat boosts for each archetype mastered so it's worth it for all characters. Once you have 4 party members with mastered archetypes you can farm with those to get an item that gives 1k a-exp to help though.
Great video as always! If I have the Mage equipped, does increasing magic stat increase the damage at the hack n slash portion? Also the default attack command in turn based?
I haven't fully tested action combat, but weapon attack does affect the normal attack command and skill damage (even magic) in Metaphor, so weapon upgrades are important for damage output.
You can do everything except fight the superboss in one playthrough. If you do go for everything, it's about as tight on time as doing everything in P3R was.
HELP! I have reached the battle with Rella & I ain't strong enough, the game won't let me travel anywhere else to level up further! Save file takes me to the gauntlet runner & fast travel won't work to anywhere but this battle!
Can't you just give any character magic archetypes & make your main character physical damage? Or are all the level-up stats predetermined & your early party members don't get stats in magic?
You technically can give any party member any archetype, and for the purposes of getting skills to inherit you will want to, but each party member has stat growths that align with their starting lineage.
So for the passive that gets you the MP in the overworld does this passive still apply with the party members if they have ones like if they have the merchants passive ability to gain extra money from the overworld by killing monsters?
Also, I absolutely *HATE* that nearly every Atlus game requires a NG+ playthrough to 100%. I'm really bummed to hear this is another one of those games. Their games are so long as it is, and they always require 1 little thing you can only do through NG+ whether it's Persona, SMT or Metaphor.

Will it work together? MC on mage then party member on merchant?
Do multiple mages/merchants stack?
@@kenrn3778 Nope, just the MC matters as far as I know.
@@kenrn3778 Just the MC for the passives. Others will still experience and archetype experience though.

Assuming you maxed out a Bond, the key item they give you does transfer but not Bond ranks.

Eloquence and tolerance should be prioritized since they are the least gained from any quest or bounty rewards.

I HATE that thing. Get a Gunner and something that gives you Masukaja synthesis and SPAM IT. I brute forced it with critical slash afterwards.
His protag's name is still Joryu
We are keeping the meme going, of course :)
Luk/Agi build all day. NGL hearing that archetypes don't carry over killed my desire to do a NG+.
Agreed, killed it for me too..
Their ranks do, but yeah you sadly need to unlock them again. :(

No it is unique to the MC, all of those abilities only exist when he uses the architype
Is it possible to re-enter kriegante castle once you have completed it? - when I try, the guards are at the door & don’t let me back in there.
I never personally tried, but main story dungeons tend to become locked after you finish them in Persona titles.
