  • #sisterwives Hey everyone! Welcome to my Sister Wives update for June 2024. This month has been packed with surprising interviews, new tattoos, and some juicy tea spills. Here’s the rundown:
    Meri's Unexpected Interview:
    Meri was interviewed by Rachel Uchitel, known for her involvement with Tiger Woods in the early 2000s. During the podcast, Meri opened up about the emotional chaos when Janelle, her brother’s ex-wife, joined their family as a sister wife. She also touched on how Christine used to run off potential sister wives and her current relationship with Leon.
    Worthy Up Staycation:
    Meri hosted a staycation in Orlando that had quite a turnout. Despite the $300 price tag, it included Epcot or Animal Kingdom visits, making it a great deal. I’m curious about what Meri shared with her guests!
    Christine’s Update:
    Christine’s backyard is currently a construction zone, which she humorously refers to as "construction ASMR." She celebrated Ysabel’s 21st and Mykelti’s 28th birthdays and shared her favorite summer snacks-popcorn and watermelon.
    Mykelti’s Tea:
    Mykelti debunked rumors about her and Tony splitting up, emphasized the challenges of not living close to siblings, and teased some behind-the-scenes details from Sister Wives Season 19 on her Patreon.
    Janelle’s Adventures:
    Janelle took a road trip to North Carolina, dropping off Savanah at Maddie’s house. Maddie is the family hub, with everyone spending time there. Janelle also shared a sweet story about Gabe’s “to the stars” tattoo, inspired by the movie Dragonheart, and their family trip to Disneyland.
    That’s all for this month’s update! Make sure to like, comment, and subscribe for more Sister Wives updates. See you next time!

    What I think about the Mary house thing is ..she was being selfish and difficult for no reason just because the other women with several children were getting something to accommodate the numbers she wanted to have equal...well that's when I first realized these women can't stand each other...because if Mary really was close to them and their k8ds she would go towards a simple solution that fit her needs...if they were actually close and she wanted to make sure there was room for the other kids to stay sometime that might be understandable but that's NOT what she wanted it for

    Meri didn't really begin contributing to the family financially until Luluroe. She took great advantage of being the first/legal wife & when we first meet her at Lehi, she has a part-time job for "extras" for her & her child. Janelle & Christine were the workhorses.

    As for Meri, it’s not about being penalized because she had fertility issues. It’s about being able to provide for everyone equally. Kody,Meri & Mariah didn’t deserve an equal portion as Christine and Janelle & their respective 12 kids! That’s just stupid. The family was barely scraping by before the show and even after the show why would Meri deserve just as much as Christine and Janelle? She didn’t need a four or five bedroom house when Christine and Janelle had the same size bedrooms for many more kids. Just like Robyn doesn’t need an individual bedroom for each of her kids when for years OG lived in a three bedroom house. Where do you think all those kids space/bedrooms were back then?

  • @L0C0vision
    @L0C0vision 10 дней назад +4

    Meri has seen the comments over the years and k ows her biggest defenders pull the "Janelle divorced her brother to marry her husband" card.
    Janelle and Adam were living in different states when Janelle returned to Utah. Bonnie was a force for family and included Janelle in lots of family time. Janelle was separated, living in a different state and friendly with the Barbers when Meri graduated from high school and met Kody.
    In the year before Kody suggested that Janelle consider joining his family, the three hung out together often. In fact, Kody and Meri were renting part of Janelle's home, which she owned.
    When Kody took Janelle to lunch to return yhe keys to the house, before fleeing to Wyoming to work on his dad's ranch, Kody suggested thst Janelle start thinking about him.
    So coincidental! Meri's part time job at the trophy shop and Kody's random sales/laborer work wasn't coveting the bills. But as Kody met with Janelle, who was already a homeowner with a carrer path, he suddenly sees her as a potential wife.
    Bottom line, I think Kody married Janelle for her income and homeownership. The first home Kody ever owned was 20 years later in Lehi.
    Very odd that Mykelti and Tony have portable jobs and two grandmas to help with the kids, but are suddenly moving to NC.

    When it comes to living and distribution of money, need must be in center in order to create fairness. Ranking of needs.
    Need must be of highest priority, then other ethical principles and finances. That's how you make hard decisions in other areas in difficult situation. Like how are resources distributed between different diagnoses/illnesses?
    How acute is the situation? Prognosis? Age? Ethics? Money?
    The Brown family should have treated all children as equals. Leon got royal treatment. It created consequences for the other children. It's not their fault Meri only had one child? Childrens needs are more important than the adults? Meri put her needs first & Kody played along. Since it created consequences for the rest of the family, it will probably be held against Meri. Meri had a higher livingstandard at expense of the rest of the family. That scene was crazy. Meri and Leon at the table. All children have equal value, but Leon was treated like he was worth more. Kody failed as a father when he didn't make sure all his children had similar livingstandard. I understand Meri being sad, life isn't fair that way. But her needs are not more important than the childrens. She created added unfairness.
    She put her child in a situation where he could be judged negatively by the other children. It's very likely that Leon felt it was unfair for him to get advantages. Or he was spoiled and entitled.
    Meris reasoning is shockingly selfish. We can all relate to her situation, but it doesn't entitle her to get more. Each child should have equal livingstandard.

    Having a house that fits the size of your family is not being penalized. Meri was just being greedy and selfish. She always wanted better than what the others had. I think it was her way of punishing them for having so many kids. Letting them suffer in cramped quarters or not enough food to eat, while she had way more than she needed. Then cry that she's being penalized if anyone dares to bring it up.

    • @tomcat9602
      @tomcat9602 9 дней назад +1

      As adults we are supposed to put the childrens needs before our own. Yes, she wanted more children, but life is not always fair. IMO, all the children have equal value and should be provided the same livingstandard. Meri shockingly put her needs above the children. Her and her child got advantages at expense of the other children.
      The family should not suffer consequences because Meri can't have more children? It's not their fault? I just don't understand how Kody could agree? I suspect the other wives voiced their opinion, but they had little say?
