    As a delhi fan, I'm really excited to see Stubbs performing for South Africa. Hopefully at least

    Really interested in the associate national teams. Do not know a lot about the players (barring Corey Anderson)and would love to learn more about them.

    If Archer is at full fitness, then in this format, imo he's the only one that goes toe to toe with current Bumrah which would absolutely put England as top contenders given their biggest issue in the WC2023 was piss poor bowling that couldn't buy a wicket

    8:39 and to make matters worse, south africa are in a group with THREE banana skin teams, two of whom were in their previous t20 wc group and one of them handed them that one critical loss that knocked them out 👀 thankfully those teams will likely take enough points from each other for south africa to get at least 2nd in the group.

    Bowling attacks of most teams are not that strong,which will make this an unpredictable tournament

      So I think india have best bowling lineup of chahal kuldeep jadeja play and with bumrah . Only thing india lacks is a good new ball wicket taker which can strike like shami but he is injured . If shami was there then india bowling would have been invinicle like wc23

    Eng- spin bowling quality has a question mark ❓
    SA - looking strong other than dodgy top order 🙂

      Rashid loved this country. It’s actually their one dimensional top 5 that’s the biggest problem.

    • @cdn4767

      Bowling is SA biggest issues, too many guys bowling magic balls and lack defensive skills.

    • @sonu1451
      @sonu1451 Месяц назад +1

      With Keshav and shamsj handling spin department and decent fast bowlers, this time issues are with top order. Stubbs, Miller, Klassen and Markaram are a very solid middle order

    • @cdn4767

      @@sonu1451 partially middle order, the very famous problem with batting ended at 6 if prefer more bowlers or 4 specialist bowlers while trying to bat at 7.

    it would be good if you continue and do analysis of all 20 teams and y and predict some upsets in the tournament that might happen as in the last years of t20 world cups where assosiates have been able to beat test nations.

      With Klaasen as a keeper option, the openers could easily be RvD and Rickelton. Rassie is also pretty decent at playing across the line, which could be important if there are pitches with low bounce. But we will just have to see how the selected team does.

    Baartman has to be first choice over nortje

    • @nuxxism
      @nuxxism Месяц назад +1

      I would say Baartman is a better death over bowler than Rabada at the moment, if a little lacking in international experience. Plus he can tonk the ball. Starting 11 for me.

    WHAT Sa lacks in knockout matches are they are too afraid or fear to change any plan of attack. They simply give default option. Like if they want to bring a power hitter in the no 3. Or try a 2 spinners in powerplays. They always relied on their traditional strength. IF THEY WANT TO WIN CUP THEY HAVE TO REACT QUICKLY AND DO OUTSIDE THE BOX AND TRY LIMIT THE OPPOSITION THREAT AS THEY CAN.
    SOMETIMES THEIR MORALE IS SO HIGH THAT THEY DON'T DO THE PROACTIVE APPROACH. LIKE KILLING THE MATCH IN ITS HEAD.
    IF THWY BRING FEW SURPRISES IN BATTING ORDER OR BOWLING ORDER THEY CAN BECOME CHAMPIONSHIP WINNERS.

    I would have had Rossouw in the squad (over Reeza?) or Rickleton over Reeza in the XI to make the top order more explosive it. Reeza definitely deserves his chance over the years but I don't know if race tipped the scale in his favour (I know, I know).
    For England, Curran, Moeen and Liam don't offer enough with the certainty with the bat unlike SA or Australia. With 4 of the batters potentially able to bowl they can also chuck in Duckett and ask him to go crazy.
