Truly..India glorifies batsmen more ..Sachin was given the bharat ratna..Rahul dravid sourav ganguly vvs laxman all of these are considered our greats and are all top order batters..Yuvraj was a batting allrounder
Raina batting allrounder but mainly batting..Dhoni wicketkeeper batsman..Virat kohli the most followed man in india a batsman,Rohit batsman who stopped bowling,SKY ,Shubman,Pant and the list goes on..They are the ones who are given the glamour accolades everything while Bumrah is miles above in terms of consistency and still doesnt get the respect he deserves
IMO bumrah is the greatest cricketer currently in the world and nobody comes close

a ball that's coming at you at 140-145kmph, that haven't touched the ground is really really really difficult to time. Even the best batsman with hand eye coordination would definitely struggle to that.

I remember watching bumrah debut for mumbai indians in wankhede ..i think that was hardik pandya’s debut ipl season as well
I remember both hardik and bumrah getting hammered by every batter that came in their way..i guess that was 2015..Bumrah’s 2015 was pretty average because it was very early in his career ..Cut to 2016 and bumrah was an important part of T20 world cup and since then bumrah has just gone up and up and up..there has been no moment since 2016 that bumrah has stopped delivering..he has delivered more consistently than virat kohli has..Bumrah for me is the MVP of India and Mumbai indians singlehandedly and has to go down top 3 cricketers of the current generation and will probably go down as one of the greatest
I am a Mumbai Indians fan and Bumrah has given all us MI fans so many great memories..He is a true Champion and the most humble ..The guy’s skill is absolute peach and transitions his skill in every format ..Test ODI T20 requires completely different skill and he has transitioned so seamlessly

Outstanding analysis and only further cements Bumrah as arguably the finest bowler ever, and NOT just of this era. We have a tendency to romanticize the past and regard players from a different era as untouchable, which is why waseem and waqar are always rated higher. But they belonged to a time when cricket wasn't as batting friendly as it is today.
For Bumrah to be this good in an era where everything is designed to favor the batsmen, it's simply an incredible achievement. In my book, he's the greatest all-format bowler we've ever seen. The only other bowler that came close to Bumrah in terms of skills, in my opinion, was M. Asif but he had too short of a career to make an accurate comparison.

@@mannyblackstar Cummins is a very good bowler and is an intelligent batter. He's not an ordinary cricketer. But you can say otherwise. Rohit Sharma, in a world cup, slogged Cummins out of the park. Does that make Cummins a bad bowler. I don't think so.

Should be future captain of Indian team….apart from skill with bowl….He’s good in reading batsman’s mind … will to sacrifice (as he sometimes doesn’t bowls with new ball)….reads game absolutely correct…and he’s all format… He will be just perfect for this role.

If the team he plays for has a cracking spinner, who is treated with the same respect as him, I wouldn't want to be batting against that team.
I'm willing to bet the other bowlers will get wickets just because the batters have to get overly aggressive with them.

Hey Jarrod just a suggestion for the videos. I think you should explain 0:50 what you graphs and plots are representing. As you use widely differing matrices all the time. I have no idea what is this "True Economy" for a bowler. Because of it was anything liek normal economy it would not have -ve values and infact a lower number would mean better bowler not the vice versa. So it would be good if you would explain what these labels on your axes are for different graphs otherwise it becomes a difficult task fot viewer to decipher them and get lost instead of enjoying rest of the video.

    • @sahilthe2009

@@San_Deep2501 cricket being religion can be good and bad. Over emotional fans is one of the cons. But a lot of support is one of the cons. Also let’s say a player is the reason for losing a match, that players career could be over. Also after losing Sri Lanka series people saying to remove gambhir as coach after just a couple matches. It can be good and bad.
