I was actually thinking to wash my clip-in hair extensions and found this video which I believe is very well done. Thank you so much for sharing your experience and your skills! I will surely use your advices! Bye and see you in your next video ;-)
What I found out that helps with sinthetic hair getting frizzy on the ends, is to when they are wet take an icepack and pat it all over the hair extenison for about 30 seconds. Just pat it. Then sit it on the ends for about 6 seconds. Then take it off and let them air dry. It helps mine. But I don't wear synthetic anymore :D

Tease the roots when you section your hair and spray the roots with spray and hold hair spray, or Spritz

@Orchidblu82 why do you think that? since conditioners have cleaning agents as well, there really is no need to use harsh shampoos on extensions. Mine last for a year and a half sometimes two, and they never smell or tangle unless I use shampoo on them. So I don't understand why you find it necessary. ;)

Ps, you should wash extentions with shampoo from time to time due to your own hair oils, heat, sweat and product from own hair rubbing off on extentions too. X

Would you suggest using shampoo without sulphates? I am new to this but I'd think sulphates would eventually change the color.

A girl and me were wondering.. Do hair extensions help add thickness? My hair is down to my hips so I don't need it for length, but mine isn't all that thick. I want it thicker for when I curl it for special occasions.
hey kelly. i just got these headkandy extensions in june and i haven't been using any heat on them or anything. i never wash them, only use a good conditioner and morrocanoil + biosilk silk therapy. theyve been great until i washed them a week ago. i straightened them with a boar bristle brush but for some reason the ends are kindy dry and frizzy and the hair doesnt really ''move'' anymore. do you think i need a stronger conditioner? what could be the problem?
@annabanana1110 there could be a loy of things going on. Is the hair Remy? Do you wash the hair with shampoo? Do you use a blowdryer on your hair? Do you use a straightener? All these things really damage extensions. Some brands acrually mix synthetic hair with real hair but call them human hair. It depends a lot on the brand too, some just aren't as good as others! Be careful when u condition the hair and get the clips wet-they can rust/loosen up the way the clips work. I've learned that the hard way with mine

Do your extensions shed often? I have remy extensions also but i've been noticing that they shed, A LOT. Once I get done brushing them over my bathroom counter I'll look down and see a lot of hair that has fallen out.

If using any hair product on extensions, baby shampoo will not remove all of the product so u need to use a shampoo that is more affective and not anything with a high silicone content in (this is never good on ur own hair either) Dove is perfect as the silicone content is very low. Everything Dove hair products I recommend. You'll notice the difference in your hair real and fake. Hope this info helps anyone. Happy hair extensions to all :) x

The hair can't actually soak up the conditioner the only thing that can soak into the hair is oils so you're wasting your time leaving it on for 10 minutes
