U can dye synthetic weave. But u have to use synthetic hair coloring like fabric ink or a acrylic polymer based paint because thats what synthetic hair is made from.
The Nail Sensei not worth the trouble. You have to practically boil it in the dye which messes up the texture and longevity of synthetic hair. Always buy the color you want with synthetic.
It’s so strange because the sellers also mark horse hair or animal hair as human hair because they are living creatures. I learned that 100% human hair cost a lot! This mess they sell us is trash. I have a 100% human hair wig and it’s gorgeous! Nothing like even the best hair that I thought I had. The price of that wig was $3500. It’s legit!

Omgeeee best video EVER! I'm about to be 25 and am now so over changing my hair every 2wks, crazy colors, crazy styles, always needing a new "look" and plain old cheap period that has been around for the last 10yrs of my life lol. So now I'm ready to start buying some quality hair and of course I was going to jump on the "virgin" hair train but after doing some research it's NOT for me, the lice, nits, dirt un uh I'm cool. I think remy is what I want and after this I am POSITIVE! You broke it all the way down I can actually visualize everything you described, I feel like an expert now I know not only what is what but why! I was lost about the diff on virgin vs remy vs 100% human and the cuticle still being in place makes perfect sense! I wish the business was regulated that makes it hard to shop though. Do you recommend any brands and is the remy "pack hair" in the hair stores really crap?! I personally am NOT looking for hair that will last years. 6mos would be nice. As far as hair in the beauty supply store, I've had good experiences with the XQ Cuticle Remy hair. I've had that hair for over a year and it is still soft and doesn't tangle. Had no shedding. I have it in 1 or 1B. I know that when you start getting lighter colors, the longevity and the quality of the hair tends not to be as good. I haven't had any issues with that hair though.
+missjennipher yes i have heard that's good i did buy some brazilian finally lol and i do like it but i stilk rather find quality remy b/c the whole intial co washing and coloring is just too much sometimes it is worth it thou. i just find with pack hair that what may start as quality hair tends to go dwn after a while and it'll become your go to hair then next year you get the same hair it's crap!
Hard to tell what is great hair or not unless you actually wear it ,the market is flooded with all kinds of claims to their hair yet the only way to really know if the hair is legit is to get it from the source which most consumers can't do. Price isn't a determining factor if it's great either because hair bought in bulk and what one chooses to market it up is another thing,

What is the difference in raw hair versus these? Also if I purchased a raw hair piece will it lose its attributes with coloring? Last question, can raw human hair (or Raw Virgin human hair weft 100%) be 613 in color?

Fake hair doesn't look as natural and it doesn't last at all and I personally hate the way it feels. Where as human hair you can reuse , wash, flat iron, color , perm because it's real hair. Fake hair is a waste of money in my opinion:)
+Laura Rengifo The look & longevity as you said, but also the ability of what you can do with the hair. You're able to wash, blow dry, curl, straighten and dye authentic remy hair. Depending on the hair type, you can also make it curly just by wetting it. You can't do that with synthetic hair (unless you roll it and dip it hot water and let it set).

If you have a little extra to spend, I'd highly recommend IndiqueHair.com for quality hair extensions. If you need to stay below that, I would just look at reviews on particular hair brands/sites from multiple vloggers to get the average opinion. A lot of girls use Aliexpress, but they have hair from different hair brands. I can't vouch for the authenticity of the hair on Aliexpress, but you can definitely check out reviews from them by many people here on RUclips. Thanks for watching :)
Great Video , REMY has qualities such as uni-lateral cuticle direction, which basically means the hair follicles all go in one single direction. There are a lot of store brands that sell Machine remy hair. This type of hair is spun from a machine that can separate remy hair from the non remy hair however this process can only detect about 60- 80 % of the remy hair. I do agree 90% of store brand hair is chemically process but does not make it bad just a lower grade from Virgin Remy hair. Now for brand name haters.....I would say that 90% of brand name hair go go though very QC (quality check) Last but not least, most of the hair that is consumed for the Black hair market is between C and an D on an scale A to E ...."A" meaning the best, About 80 to 90 % of the best hair on the market is sold to the High In European and US hair Manufactures. So if you want the best be prepared to pay 160 to 200 for 20 inch A bundle.
+Diva Fidness All virgin hair is remy, but not all remy hair is virgin. Typically, virgin hair will last longer if it's taken care of properly. It would just depend on what you're looking for. If you want something that you can straighten and at the same time you can wet it and have it go wavy--then virgin hair may be what you want. Some non-virgin remy hair will do that, but it may not have the same longevity. Some non-virgin remy hair may have been processed to only be straight and can only be curled by heat/rollers. Thank goodness. I lost my hair due to chemotherapy for my breast cancer. I bought a not too expensive wig. I felt so uncomfortable. Not the fact that it was comfortable versus uncomfortable but it just seems so unnatural I felt very self-conscious. So while my head was totally bald I wore a baseball cap usually. normally as we are factory ,we will not classify into virgin remy human hair and virgin human hair ,we only classify into non remy human hair ,remy human hair 。 braiding hair belongs to natural remy hair ,normal remy hair need to pick out the same cuticle hair from raw hair ,this need a machine to pick out .braiding hair's cuticle is in the same direction when it is cut from donator .so braiding hair is very precious ,price is also higher than normal remy hair .So that depends on your hair quality request and price acceptance .Braiding hair can dye more colors than normal remy hair .Remy hair is great quality ,more customers choose remy hair .
Sure, you can get decent hair from the beauty supply store that will hold up for a sew-in. I recommend just researching RUclips reviews on the brands that you are interested in and see how it held up for the majority of people who used it. XQ Cuticle Remy is sold in stores and it did pretty decent for me a while back.

Technically, if the hair is truly virgin then it is remy. So all virgin hair is remy, but not all remy hair is virgin. The reason being is that once the hair has been chemically treated (dyed, permed, acid washed, etc) it can no longer be genuinely classified as virgin hair even if it is remy. Sellers will lie and say it's virgin hair when it's not. I see hair all the time being marked as virgin hair that isn't. I have another video somewhere on my channel that tells you how you can tell if you've purchased authentic virgin hair. Hope all that makes sense lol

No No!! all hair is virgin. when you star to process the hair then you can break it down into the different categories like raw virgin, remy and ect.. Do not get them twisted.
Regardless of whether or not chemicals were involved, it is still considered processed hair so it won't qualify as raw virgin hair....even if quality is still good.

The price will vary from brand to brand and from retailer to retailer. If you’re okay spending a little extra, then I’d recommend Indique Hair. It’s only sold directly through their website or an Indique store boutique. I believe some stylist also sell it, but it’s not resold by other hair stores.
SweetEnvy010 If you have a hair that has been steam processed & then you straighten it back out, oftentimes if you wet it (or wash it) to get curly again, it doesn't go back to the original curl pattern it had when you bought it. It should curl back up again, but the curls may be looser than they originally were. If you're looking at a particular brand, try to check some reviews on that specific hair and see what others who've already used it experienced. Thanks for watching! :-)

A Yaki or Indian textured hair would be perfect. Yaki textured hair mimics both the texture and fullness of most African American hair Indian also does the same. People don't know there really is no true Brazilian hair in a manner of speaking more than 90 percent of hair derives from Asia not Latin America. And most of the time you are receiving Chinese or Indian hair. Chinese hair is much more sleek and has less body while having a high luster. Indian hair is more thicker has a lower luster but more body. Hope I helped.
Yes, that's correct. I never even saw the question until you just responded. I always use Indian hair...works best for me with my natural hair straightened. Yaki mimics moreso relaxed african american hair. Right...Peruvian...Brazilian...Russian...all of that isn't really what it says it is.

I'm not familiar particular brand of hair. Does it say "human hair quality" or "quality human hair"? If it's human hair quality that typically means it is mixed with other fibers. Search for reviews by people who've already used this hair and read what they think. The majority consistent commentary are usually accurate.
+Felicia Ganiyu I have never used remy hair for braiding hair, so I couldn't say for sure whether or not it is good for that purpose. However; I do not really see the benefit in using remy hair for braids. You'd spend a lot more money on it than you would regular braiding hair. Plus, depending on the type of braids, remy hair may not hold as well...as far as slipping is concerned.

I was just about to order some really curly brazilian hair and noticed the description says virgin remi... still a bit confused about the difference and its selling for a reasonable price long 3 bundles for 116... I'm just afraid it won't be top quality I don't buy extentions often at all

"Real hair" can mean anything. Like when you see "human hair blend" or "premium blend" or something like that, it could be a few strands of human hair mixed with synthetic fibers and/or animal blend. One way to test is a burn test. Hair that is 100% pure human hair with burn to ashes. If it's mixed with synthetic fibers it melts

I'm from Los Angeles, but moved to Dubai 2 years ago, and they are stuck in the ice ages when it comes to quality hair. There are many shops here, but it's the equivalent to going to your local beauty supply and purchasing hair for an obscene amount that lacks the luster and quality. U can dye synthetic weave. But u have to use synthetic hair coloring like fabric ink or a acrylic polymer based paint because thats what synthetic hair is made from.
The Nail Sensei not worth the trouble. You have to practically boil it in the dye which messes up the texture and longevity of synthetic hair. Always buy the color you want with synthetic.
It’s so strange because the sellers also mark horse hair or animal hair as human hair because they are living creatures. I learned that 100% human hair cost a lot! This mess they sell us is trash. I have a 100% human hair wig and it’s gorgeous! Nothing like even the best hair that I thought I had. The price of that wig was $3500. It’s legit!

As far as hair in the beauty supply store, I've had good experiences with the XQ Cuticle Remy hair. I've had that hair for over a year and it is still soft and doesn't tangle. Had no shedding. I have it in 1 or 1B. I know that when you start getting lighter colors, the longevity and the quality of the hair tends not to be as good. I haven't had any issues with that hair though.

Its not about regulation or they are scammers, but all the hair is layed on the floor and hacked in the raw procesing. Why would they separate donor a, b, c, d, e, f,g. And do them one by one. Fake hair doesn't look as natural and it doesn't last at all and I personally hate the way it feels. Where as human hair you can reuse , wash, flat iron, color , perm because it's real hair. Fake hair is a waste of money in my opinion:)
+Laura Rengifo The look & longevity as you said, but also the ability of what you can do with the hair. You're able to wash, blow dry, curl, straighten and dye authentic remy hair. Depending on the hair type, you can also make it curly just by wetting it. You can't do that with synthetic hair (unless you roll it and dip it hot water and let it set).

If you have a little extra to spend, I'd highly recommend IndiqueHair.com for quality hair extensions. If you need to stay below that, I would just look at reviews on particular hair brands/sites from multiple vloggers to get the average opinion. A lot of girls use Aliexpress, but they have hair from different hair brands. I can't vouch for the authenticity of the hair on Aliexpress, but you can definitely check out reviews from them by many people here on RUclips. Thanks for watching :)

REMY has qualities such as uni-lateral cuticle direction, which basically means the hair follicles all go in one single direction.
There are a lot of store brands that sell Machine remy hair. This type of hair is spun from a machine that can separate remy hair from the non remy hair however this process can only detect about 60- 80 % of the remy hair.
I do agree 90% of store brand hair is chemically process but does not make it bad just a lower grade from Virgin Remy hair.
Now for brand name haters.....I would say that 90% of brand name hair go go though very QC (quality check)
Last but not least, most of the hair that is consumed for the Black hair market is between C and an D on an scale A to E ...."A" meaning the best,
About 80 to 90 % of the best hair on the market is sold to the High In European and US hair Manufactures.
So if you want the best be prepared to pay 160 to 200 for 20 inch A bundle.

+Diva Fidness All virgin hair is remy, but not all remy hair is virgin. Typically, virgin hair will last longer if it's taken care of properly. It would just depend on what you're looking for. If you want something that you can straighten and at the same time you can wet it and have it go wavy--then virgin hair may be what you want. Some non-virgin remy hair will do that, but it may not have the same longevity. Some non-virgin remy hair may have been processed to only be straight and can only be curled by heat/rollers. normally as we are factory ,we will not classify into virgin remy human hair and virgin human hair ,we only classify into non remy human hair ,remy human hair 。 braiding hair belongs to natural remy hair ,normal remy hair need to pick out the same cuticle hair from raw hair ,this need a machine to pick out .braiding hair's cuticle is in the same direction when it is cut from donator .so braiding hair is very precious ,price is also higher than normal remy hair .So that depends on your hair quality request and price acceptance .Braiding hair can dye more colors than normal remy hair .Remy hair is great quality ,more customers choose remy hair .

Sure, you can get decent hair from the beauty supply store that will hold up for a sew-in. I recommend just researching RUclips reviews on the brands that you are interested in and see how it held up for the majority of people who used it. XQ Cuticle Remy is sold in stores and it did pretty decent for me a while back.

Technically, if the hair is truly virgin then it is remy. So all virgin hair is remy, but not all remy hair is virgin. The reason being is that once the hair has been chemically treated (dyed, permed, acid washed, etc) it can no longer be genuinely classified as virgin hair even if it is remy. Sellers will lie and say it's virgin hair when it's not. I see hair all the time being marked as virgin hair that isn't. I have another video somewhere on my channel that tells you how you can tell if you've purchased authentic virgin hair. Hope all that makes sense lol

Regardless of whether or not chemicals were involved, it is still considered processed hair so it won't qualify as raw virgin hair....even if quality is still good.

The price will vary from brand to brand and from retailer to retailer. If you’re okay spending a little extra, then I’d recommend Indique Hair. It’s only sold directly through their website or an Indique store boutique. I believe some stylist also sell it, but it’s not resold by other hair stores.

If the hair is steam processed, does that mean it won't curl back up if it gets straightened or wet?
SweetEnvy010 If you have a hair that has been steam processed & then you straighten it back out, oftentimes if you wet it (or wash it) to get curly again, it doesn't go back to the original curl pattern it had when you bought it. It should curl back up again, but the curls may be looser than they originally were. A Yaki or Indian textured hair would be perfect. Yaki textured hair mimics both the texture and fullness of most African American hair Indian also does the same. People don't know there really is no true Brazilian hair in a manner of speaking more than 90 percent of hair derives from Asia not Latin America. And most of the time you are receiving Chinese or Indian hair. Chinese hair is much more sleek and has less body while having a high luster. Indian hair is more thicker has a lower luster but more body. Hope I helped.

Yes, that's correct. I never even saw the question until you just responded. I always use Indian hair...works best for me with my natural hair straightened. Yaki mimics moreso relaxed african american hair. Right...Peruvian...Brazilian...Russian...all of that isn't really what it says it is.

I'm not familiar particular brand of hair. Does it say "human hair quality" or "quality human hair"? If it's human hair quality that typically means it is mixed with other fibers. Search for reviews by people who've already used this hair and read what they think. The majority consistent commentary are usually accurate.

+Felicia Ganiyu I have never used remy hair for braiding hair, so I couldn't say for sure whether or not it is good for that purpose. However; I do not really see the benefit in using remy hair for braids. You'd spend a lot more money on it than you would regular braiding hair. Plus, depending on the type of braids, remy hair may not hold as well...as far as slipping is concerned.

braiding hair also belongs to remy hair ,it is natural remy hair ,the hair cuticle is in the same direction when it is cut from dornator ,it is more precious than normal remy hair .Normal remy hair need to pick out from raw hair .This process will be done by a machine .So that depends on your requirements for hair quality .Some light color only need to use braiding hair to dye .Remy hair is unable to dye the perfect color .hope my answer will be helpful for you .

Virgin hair has the best longevity if it's properly taken care of. Shedding should be very minimal, but be mindful that if you cut the wefts with any type of hair, that can cause shedding. Thanks for watching! :-)

real hair could just mean animal hair
"Real hair" can mean anything. Like when you see "human hair blend" or "premium blend" or something like that, it could be a few strands of human hair mixed with synthetic fibers and/or animal blend. One way to test is a burn test. Hair that is 100% pure human hair with burn to ashes. If it's mixed with synthetic fibers it melts

Raw hair is cut from the donor's head, sanitized and then wefted. There are zero alterations done to the hair (No flat ironing, curling, etc prior to sale).
