the only BIG problem is low light

Are you using insta360 x3 at 4:29? If so, it's single lense mode?

Heyyy! :) so I was using my main camera to film the talking points. When I’m not talking those were the shots used with the insta360! What was the second camera you used? The one you were using when you recorded yourself holding the x3, when not recording on the x3?
The main camera was a Sony Fx30!
I was hyped for this camera but after watching sample videos I see that this camera is very bad. Ah one more thing. Insta360 pays them to say that video is not sponsored but we all know the truth.
You can go watch the previous video. I went to Best Buy in NYC and bought it with my own money. It’s funny how people are so quick to assume. I’ll always be honest with my audience. Is it DSLR quality no but it is a fun action camera.
High level production and interesting take. A bit too short 😅 The X3 is a great camera, for people who know what to do with it 👍

In short, it is not a typical action camera like a GoPro. X3 is an amazing cam IF you aim for unusual, crazy, spectacular shots. And you are willing to sacrifice resolution to get there. And also, you will be shooting mostly in sunny conditions. Then you will be very happy with it, just like I am. You can check my 360 videos if you want to know more details.@@danaques

I have this , and loves this. another con is the batter life which does not go over 30 min. I keep 4 batteries with me all the time

I've had poor results in cloudy skies doing a time lapse in 8k. Gopro 10 kicked the X3 around like a punk. Even shooting normal video under forest canopy just turned out second rate. I'm thinking so far that only good lighting or forever tweaking settings to find a sweet spot. Before I tweak I'll just bust out a single lense most of the time
very bold decision to have no audio at the opening, I thought my audio was messed up lol!!

I also have the X3 for about a year now. Def way better than the GoPro MAX and the Insta360 mobile is miles ahead of Quik....and this is coming from a GoPro faboy. Looking forward to your videos. Just earned a sub.

Static shots look okay but stabilization is terrible for vlogging. You actually helped in my decision not to buy a 360 camera so I appreciate that. All the best.
Good video! Your one issue with the camera has been fixed! The camera can now records 15 or 30 seconds ahead of you pressing the record button. Look at the latest firmware update. Enjoy!
Thank you and yes I know about this feature. I’m saying in general when you press record it takes a bit for the camera to actually start recording.
As I’m aware of the 15 to 30 second pre recording. I don’t want to waste battery through out the day.
I’d like to simply just hit record and have it start immediately after I press it. Those few seconds can be crucial.

The 360 stuff is a bit gimmicky though, right? Feel it ages quickly.
I don’t think it’s a gimmick. It’s a cool little camera for sure. Don’t get me wrong the quality isn’t like a mirrorless camera but for an action camera it’s pretty solid. It’s cool when you want to get some creative angles that a mirrorless camera can’t quite get!
The only issue i hv is regarding protection of lens..i put on sticky lens guard originals...i got scratches easily@@Ricky.Pestana

It's too fish eye look, I can't believe you don't take care much that the lenses 😢
I was using the widest amount. In the insta360 app you can zoom the video wherever you want. I do take care of my gear, you try Vlogging in a city and tell me if your gear stays clean.
I’m also concerned about the fish eye look… everything looks skewed
Again, I was using the widest amount. You can manipulate the footage to zoom more in if you want to get more close to whatever you’re filming.
