hi great vids. i just tried to remove some funds from a copyportfolio. but the option is not there for me. is it still possible? the copy portfolio is paused.
Very useful to people like me who only COPY traders. I think there close copy option looses all that money in the red. But with pause copy I can withdraw slowly and optimise my profit.
Yep - it's a matter of patience and how quickly you need the money very often. Also, when you pause, the trader might still keep holding onto losing trades for too long losing you more money - it all depends on the context of what's happening with that particular trader really. It IS, however, nice to be able to still make use of their talents even whilst winding up a copy position.
hi tom in This video about removing the money that is not invested, should that not say available to withdraw $132.11 as u had in this example 450 to start with less 317.89 used by jay, therefore surely the balance to withdraw must be 132.11 & NOT 18.56? as it shows in that video.....please explain
Totally new to this and I'm learning so much from your videos. I will be putting some money into my eToro account very soon but wanted to get my head around it all first. My biggest concern is the risk when leveraging, which I don't want to do. What happens if I copy a person. Will I automatically be putting my money at a higher risk? Probably an obvious answer but I want to be clear. Thanks.
I made a beginners playlist about copytrading which you can see here: ruclips.net/video/5FHxBW2u4oE/видео.html . It might answer some of your questions. When you copy someone, you can set a 'copy stop loss' which is a predefined amount which you're willing to lose before etoro automatically closes the copy position so that you can't lose more. There are very rare ways in which this safeguard can fail, but would involve some majorly bad news for the markets. You can actually analyse a trader you're hoping to copy and see whether they use a lot of leverage in their trades (if they use it, you'll use it when you copy them)
I think so... I'm not sure about all countries in Africa though - you'd have to check the help section to see which countries, if any, are blocked. ill find the page for you.
unfortunately it does look like etoro is blocked in a lot of African countries... you'll need to check the list and confirm with eToro directly for your country. hope you manage to find what youre looking for!
Some people don't notice it, and one guy even asked what it was so he could get it :) It was meant to be a little subliminal just to add a lightness... I'm not sure.
This is exactly what I wanted to know because I only know how to copy and add funds. I'm a newbie to the platform. Thank you so much!

Hi Thomas, I'm coming from the future to warn you from copying Jay for the rest of 2018, you can copy him back starting Jan 2019 :D
:)
Could you consider not to have in the background music? It’s a bit irritating!

etoro is a scam
What makes you say that?
