Thanks! That is a common discussion on the trials with the gas guys. I have tried a couple electric bikes with clutches and honestly I like it better without them. Tracking control works absolutely amazing on the Ultra for this type of stuff. I wasn’t using it during this video recording, but I have used it before and it isglorious.
thank you! I am sorry that I might have missed it. Replacement rear wheel, 16", where from? What 16" tire are you running? 19" front tire on stock rim? What tire? The riding you do is the toughest I would see, but this is the stuff I want to maximize setup for on my ultra. Appreciated!
I had my 16 custom made, I know milk racing has them and charged cycle works. I’m running a 120x100x16 shinko 525 cheater soft in the rear and a mx33 in the front on the stock rim. 90x100x19 size. The stuff in the video is easy compared to what we have available in Washington. You should come out with us sometime 😊
I believe that a 19/17 vs a 19/16 is not going to have a huge difference in performance. I’m a chasing weight on this bike as well as performance. The 19/16 was the best option I could find.
@@206fab I just upgrade my son's X to the fastace 2.0 w/ 60 pound spring and it's much better than stock. I'm wondering if the stock Ultra fork is at least equal to the upgraded Fastace 2.0 60lbs? I only ask because I'm considering purchasing an Ultra later this week. The only thing stopping me is not knowing what the stock fork is like, and how the overall performance is in its stock form compared to the X? Will it hang with some gas bikes on the fire-trails? Currently his stock x gets smoked. His cousin rides a KLX 230.
There is a version 2 KKE front fork for Ultrabee available that ditches the triple 24lb spring setup in favor of a single 26lb spring setup and has a revised hydraulic dampener. Version 3 is coming soon. V2 actually is pretty decent on trails much more consistent then OEM fork.
What an absolutely brutal track, I'm impressed by how well the bikes handled that.
Yeah these bikes are crazy good tbh.
Dude i just started watching your vids! Youre one heck of a rider! Sick wheelies on the street and some of the hardest trail rides out there!
Thanks so much Nathan for the kind words!
Looks like fun. I was bummed I missed the ride. But those conditions look rough especially on 241’s. The trails and area look dope
Walker is always a good time! Yeah the 525 cheater is the perfect pnw tire, Reuben and Cory were having fun on there 241s
I just bought an UltraBee, it arrived today. It came with 18" rear wheel and a 19" front. Good tires too!
That is definitely better than the 19,19 that come stock on mine.
Sick riding up those slick trails. Surprised how good you can do with no clutch!

Have you tried 21 19? If so how do they compare
I like 21/19 on a bigger bike. To big for the ultra in my opinion. The 19/16 makes it very playful!

Have you done seat height comparasion?
I haven’t, but that would be interesting
Ever try 21/18? That might be better for hard enduro rocky stuff
21/18 on this bike to me feels heavy but some ppl like it. More preference I would say
Any more info on that YZ electric conversion? 👀
First video coming out on the 20th or 27th. Subscribe for the series.
@@206fab Done :-)

@@206fab thks to helpful suggestion, by the way, what’s size for your 16 rear cover?
Better than stock? why?
the ergonomics and able to put a bigger tire on the rear. More tires available since it is a dirtbike size tires
How are the stock forks on the ultra bee? Similar to an actual gas powered bike 125cc ?? Are they plush or harsh?
They are decent, I would upgrade if I was using this bike for off-road purposes only
