Hello, I have a Torp controller so I can adjust all those settings in the Torp app.

Hello, I’ve never had this issue. Did you make sure your app/controller are up to date? Also try a recalibration on your motor. What motor are you using?

@@206fab hi thanks for replying, i have checked to see if my app was up to date, i have also tried the recalibration on the motor, i am running the stock battery and controller. I have again contacted torp and am waiting for a response, but i’m just trying to get any information because there is nobody has anything posted about it.

@wesleydoesmtb1161 yeah, I install of lot of Torp products and normally a motor calibration fixes that. If for some reason your motor is bad I got a sotion motor for sale for cheap. 300 miles on it.

So cool converting a crf 250! Best frame by far: I’m using a stock surron throttle but have recently upgraded to a surron domino throttle for better response. I have mounted the x9000 on the radiator for better cooling as well as easy wire routing. For battery I went with a EBMX 72v 57ah, gives absolutely amazing range and power. Fits perfectly in the frame with the charging port accessible without cutting plastics Hit my dms on instagram for my battery power specs, I’ll send you a screenshot. It all depends on what you are trying to do with your bike. Mine is small enough where I fly under the radar as well as being super light. A stark would be about 40lbs heavier than my bike. That is a lot for stunting and city cruising

@@206fab is there a possibility to build it up from frame? As it looks everyone goes for the upgraded option, would like to save up a bit on it

Update; after calibrating the bike, calibrating the throttle it works perfectly. Amazing.! it had me set the throttle to 0.07v based on some variables. The normal is 0.55v but I can change that later. I am extremely happy thank you so much for your video. Basically you were my motivation to add this controller to the bike and it worked perfectly. I think my surron I will sleep in my bed tonight. I’m that!! excited.❤❤❤❤

Yes, 100 percent worth it. You get some much more power and more importantly controller over how the bike feels.

All depends on how you ride, the weight of your bike and your power settings.

I would go with the SurRon X or the SurRon ultra bee. RUclips them to see what one will work best for you

@@206fab and in California I'm assuming I would need to get a motorcycle license and go through all that with insurance?

Just a seat cover. They do sell complete replacement seats with covers installed I believe.

The one downside of electric is your hear all the sounds you would not normally hear with a gas bike. Something do with my rear brake I got to get figured out. The reason I went with the qs is for its gear reduction built into the motor. Running other brands that don’t have that you will have to run a huge sprocket on the rear since you don’t have a jack shaft like SurRons do.

@@206fab ah yeah you're right you need gear reduction, that's why so many retrofit are using QS. Btw nice CRF-E build, used to have one 250 before and really liked it, hope this is preserving bike spirit
