no he was diagnosed with parkinsons in 1991 during the filming of doc hollywood when he woke up with a twitch in his pinkie finger. he annonced it in 1998. beleve me, i read 2 of his books.

he may have not had any major symptoms yet but parkinsons is a cumulative diesese. You can really say when you have parkinsons you've truly always had it. your dopamine neurons are always dieing it just takes a lot of them to die before the symptoms start to occur
