What a great guy.
Just back back from a vacation in New York.. went to a Knicks game last friday and MJF was sitting courtside with his wife.. I was honored to see him in the flesh! After the game he was wheeled out in a wheelchair and I got really sad 😢
Glad to see that he's still living his life though and not letting parkinson get the best of him ❤
There should be no shame in being a wheelchair user. I’m one myself. We do not want, need or deserve pity. We just want understanding, acceptance, compassion and inclusion.

I Love Michael J. Fox as well Peter. Tomorrow is his birthday. Michael J. Fox was born June 9, 1961. He will be 63 years old this Sunday. I'm going to watch " Back To The Future Part II one of the biggest films of his career. He was 27 at the time it released November 22, 1989.
He is the best of us.
Over 11 years later, and he's still hanging on. Bless him.

Brent I agree. Michael J. Fox can teach Taylor Swift the reality if marriage and living real life outside of the fantasy life of being noticed and having people obsess over you. She is a bad influence on our young people. Michael J. Fox is a rural positive influence. He lived life seeing the good and bad in society. Took the right paths and became successful with it.

My late mom passed from Parkinsons. Her dad had it. When I was young, I thought the shaking was just from getting old in life. Nobody ever said parkinson disease.
Mom had an awesome neurologist. She got her real estate license in the 70's, she was a landlord, she was a business owner, opening her own restaurant for 27yrs. She was a great mom, always helping whoever she could with whatever they needed.

He doesn’t have ALS. He has Parkinson’s Disease.
@@shawnuel Ya, I know. I should have clarified. ALS sufferers body fails but the mind remains alive, alert, and insightful. The people with ALS with computers to communicate from a frozen voice box amaze me.

My mom died from this disease. I gave all the money I got from the insurance company , when she gave up. I gave the money to the danish Parkinson strata. She suffered for 7 years.. life is, she was mine. ❤ sorry

Has anyone put any money into studying how diet impacts neurodegenerative disease like Parkinson's? Sadly, my mother died of complications of a fast moving Parkinson's in 2019 so I have some limited experience and understanding of the disease. I just stumbled on a video about a woman named Mimi who used a carnivore diet to reverse her Parkinson's disease progression. If you have Parkinson's and are reading this comment, you owe it to yourself to at least search for and watch her interview. I so wish I had known there was a possible nutritional intervention because I know my mom would have jumped at it in an instant and maybe she would still be here with us now.

I think your referring to “Back to the Future” and not “Teen Wolf” which were both released in 1985. Also in 1985 he won the Emmy for best performer in a comedy series for Family Ties. He would win that award again for “Spin City.”

If not for his diagnosis, I’m sure that MJF would have been in many more movies than the 30+ he has already been in. It’s tough to find roles of ‘guy with Parkinson’s’!
