However, this should probably be changed to something like having parents who provide you with the proper choices or good choices or choices in general, while supporting you and being loving, goes a long way. With SO MANY horror stories of child actors, you can tell Frankie had loving and caring parents. Also Malcolm still holds the best intro to a show ever lol

What I like about Frankie is that he isn't so much driven to be "an actor" - he has other interests and hobbies that could arguably take over any acting gig on tv or film. He's the type of actor that you look at and think that he'd survive outside of the film/tv/entertainment industry. Many kid actors tend to stay acting till they die not really knowing any other pathway to make a living or to channel their creativity. I'm glad Frankie has found success in other avenues.
if you ever make a million bucks you can survive off the interest. most people don't think like this but if you go out partying or vacationing you're going to blow that fund fast, but if you made 3% per a year on it that would be 30k which is enough to live as well as continue to save even more money
This is really funny - maybe like 10 years ago, my brother sat next to Frankie on our flight to Chicago (or wherever), 8n coach, and I remember thinking "damn he must really be going through some rough shit to be sitting in coach." But, hey, looks like he was just being a financially smart/frugal person. Good to know.

malcolm in the middle is a show that i found my self relating to when i was 12 years old . and when i was 26 years old . different stages of my re understanding of every character and what they are going thru . finding something deeper in every watch. a showcase of true brilliance in sitcom. Frankie is one HELL of an actor
He's such a genuine and likeable guy. As someone who was the same age and grew up watching him every week on Malcolm in the Middle I'm so happy for him.
I love that Frankie Muniz as a person is so relatable. Probably part of the reason why we all loved Malcolm so much. Sitcoms can be incredibly cheesy and that show was just from another world.

Absolutely impressed with Frankie, obviously I don't know him personally but watching this, he seems to be a very down-to-earth and normal guy. I have not heard any run-ins with the law or legal trouble. Great upbringing from great parents and that's a tremendous advantage. You see a lot of kid actors' lives get destroyed because of fame/drugs/money. Good for him, such a great example, every kid actor should watch this guy's interview. "How to not screw up your life while becoming a famous actor 101"

I still can remember going to see Agent Cody Banks, in the theaters when it debuted at the age of fourteen. I’m 34, now and still watch it occasionally Frankie is such a talented fella he looks great, and seemed to have done well for himself despite the massive fame, and wealth.
I was working at Home Depot one summer in college and he came in to talk to a specialist in one of our departments. I only spoke him on the way out but you could tell he was just a nice, genuine guy. He owns Outrageous Olive Oils and its insanely good
Frankie, Steve Erwin, Bernie Mac, Robin Williams and Stan Lee were my idols growing up...I regret not being able to meet Steve or Bernie or Stan or Robin before they passed but I wish I could shake Frankie's hand while he's still with us. Thanks for being a huge part of our childhood

He'd basically said he didn't remember in the same way that anyone at a busy job only remembers bits and pieces, they blew this up into amnesia.

My band played a show with his band at a VERY small club in Albany, NY back in 2016 (I think). He was one of the most humble and down to earth people I've ever met. Super cool dude. Great to see he's still doing well.

He had a tough time in his early adolescence, it's why he dropped out of the limelight when he did to focus on his health and private life. Was an excellent decision, it gave him a stable foundation to move into his later life.
I grew up watching Malcolm in The Middle. I’ve seen all the episodes multiple times and I can say that it’s a show I’ll keep close to me for the rest of my life. Got me thru a lot of rough times. Frankie Muniz seems like such a polite and chill guy. Godbless him and his family. This is not only an awesome episode, but it’s RARE. Frankie usually doesn’t do podcasts or interviews. It’d be cool to see more of him.
Malcom in the Middle, I remember being obsessed, and recording every episode on my sisters Olsen Twins VHS tapes which went over well with my parents. Glad to see Frankie had great support around him as he grew into his fame. Level headed dude.

I sell downtown parking lots in a major city, and he is spot on about them potentially being worth $100s of millions these days. I've also sold a couple self-storage properties as well, and can see that Frankie made some fantastic investment decisions with his money. He got some great advice back then!
I rewatched the show later in life and was laughing at the episodes . It was the first time I saw a white family with bad ass sons and they were crazy but loved each other . The episode with the clowns and the way Lois was smiling watching her family beat ass cracks me up everytime

Good for him, it makes me happy to see him do well. Easily one of the best tv sitcoms. Portrayed poverty in a working class family in such a realistic way.
By American standards they were definitely in poverty. But largely because of bad financial decisions. They have a much nicer house and live in a much better neighborhood than most Americans in poverty would live in. Other than the house, they lived a poverty lifestyle, perhaps because they were spending lots of money to pay for Francis's military camp.

Maybe they're not in poverty, but the kids live a poverty lifestyle because the parents are negligent. Hal spends 1000 dollars to rent a truck to run things over, but they won't shell out 200 dollars for an 88 key keyboard, or better yet, find someone giving away an upright piano for free. They had plenty enough room for an upright and it's not hard to find people giving those away for cheap or free.

When he talked about wanting to be a garbage man or a train conductor, it reminded me of the last episode of Malcolm in the Middle when his parents tell him that he's going to have to work twice as hard as everyone else and he's still not going to be respected by everyone. 😵
There's also an episode where he struggles to find his career and he has to do a test on profesión, but the test comes up as being able to do anything lol
His Mom sounds awesome. My dad was the opposite end of the spectrum, anything I told him I wanted to be he told me I would fail at and told me to get a manual labor job. I ended up making more money than him and my mother combined but at a soulless corporate job. I wish he gave me support for the creative stuff I wanted to do when I was a kid.

Absolutely impressed with Frankie, obviously I don't know him personally but watching this, he seems to be a very down-to-earth and normal guy. I have not heard any run-ins with the law or legal trouble.
Great upbringing from great parents and that's a tremendous advantage. You see a lot of kid actors' lives get destroyed because of fame/drugs/money.

I still can remember going to see Agent Cody Banks, in the theaters when it debuted at the age of fourteen. I’m 34, now and still watch it occasionally Frankie is such a talented fella he looks great, and seemed to have done well for himself despite the massive fame, and wealth.

@@bruhlips4498 that's the thing, there was no 'memory loss', he explains in a different portion of the interview that journalists totally misrepresented what he'd said. He'd basically said he didn't remember in the same way that anyone at a busy job only remembers bits and pieces, they blew this up into amnesia.
@@LudvigIndestrucable He’s got it backwards though. He can’t remember details about the show the same way any 30-something won’t remember all of their teachers in high school. Most adults DO remember details about work stuff, even years later, which is why it seems weird that he wouldn’t.

My band played a show with his band at a VERY small club in Albany, NY back in 2016 (I think). He was one of the most humble and down to earth people I've ever met. Super cool dude. Great to see he's still doing well.
Seems like a cool, humble guy. Im always happy when i see people who were in the spotlight as kids grow up to become humble and seemingly have no issues. Very happy to see he seems to be a cool guy with his head in the right place.
He had a tough time in his early adolescence, it's why he dropped out of the limelight when he did to focus on his health and private life.
Was an excellent decision, it gave him a stable foundation to move into his later life.

I’ve seen all the episodes multiple times and I can say that it’s a show I’ll keep close to me for the rest of my life. Got me thru a lot of rough times.
Frankie Muniz seems like such a polite and chill guy. Godbless him and his family. This is not only an awesome episode, but it’s RARE. Frankie usually doesn’t do podcasts or interviews.

I sell downtown parking lots in a major city, and he is spot on about them potentially being worth $100s of millions these days. I've also sold a couple self-storage properties as well, and can see that Frankie made some fantastic investment decisions with his money. He got some great advice back then!

I rewatched the show later in life and was laughing at the episodes . It was the first time I saw a white family with bad ass sons and they were crazy but loved each other . The episode with the clowns and the way Lois was smiling watching her family beat ass cracks me up everytime
I like the scene where they are at a family gathering and some relative made Lois cry. And the boys, as one, start marching to reak havoc.

By American standards they were definitely in poverty. But largely because of bad financial decisions. They have a much nicer house and live in a much better neighborhood than most Americans in poverty would live in. Other than the house, they lived a poverty lifestyle, perhaps because they were spending lots of money to pay for Francis's military camp.
@@jougetsu what classes are you talking about? Dewey is an elite piano prodigy and they won't even buy him an 88 key keyboard. He gets a shitty 30 dollar looking keyboard. Maybe they're not in poverty, but the kids live a poverty lifestyle because the parents are negligent. Hal spends 1000 dollars to rent a truck to run things over, but they won't shell out 200 dollars for an 88 key keyboard, or better yet, find someone giving away an upright piano for free. They had plenty enough room for an upright and it's not hard to find people giving those away for cheap or free.

When he talked about wanting to be a garbage man or a train conductor, it reminded me of the last episode of Malcolm in the Middle when his parents tell him that he's going to have to work twice as hard as everyone else and he's still not going to be respected by everyone. 😵
There's also an episode where he struggles to find his career and he has to do a test on profesión, but the test comes up as being able to do anything lol
His Mom sounds awesome. My dad was the opposite end of the spectrum, anything I told him I wanted to be he told me I would fail at and told me to get a manual labor job. I ended up making more money than him and my mother combined but at a soulless corporate job. I wish he gave me support for the creative stuff I wanted to do when I was a kid.
