Kevin Durant joined GSW. Wilt joined West so there’s no comparison there at all. Oscar joined Kareem, but Kareem was a rookie and he hasn’t won a title or anything like that. So still not the same as what KD did. Plus, Oscar had to fight legal battles for free agency to be legal at all
Imagine if Wilt decided to join the Celtics after losing to them - that’s the equivalent of what KD did. He joined the biggest dynasty of his era directly after losing to said dynasty.

I dont think too many people knock his talent, it's his mentality that takes a hit, and rightfully so. If a guy wants to jump from team to team, play the blame game, thats perfectly fine, but he's going to hear about it. Part of the game.

At 34 John Havlicek led 1974 Celtics to title with 27.1 ppg, 6.4 rpg, 6.0 apg, 1.3 spg for the playoffs. And his defense was more dominant than his offense (8x All Defense). People have to stop sleeping on the guy who was so athletic and strong the Cleveland Browns convinced him to play WR for a preseason to see if he wanted to switch sports and they said they've never seen such raw ability at WR, with the only Brown faster being HOF RB Jim Brown and it was close. The 68 wins on his 72-73 Celtics (without Russell) is the most in Celtics history, not a team led by Bird, Russel or the Big 3. Was 1974 Finals MVP against Oscar, a prime Kareem and another HOFer in his prime Bob Dandridge. At 36 held 26 yr old Dr J to 14 points on 6-19 shooting in Game 7 of ECSM. And highlights of that game show he was still exceptionally fast and rangy.

Honestly im really ready for all of yall childish immature lecrybaby fans in the comment section and if yall like yall can make a response to the facts im going to speak
    1. Yall lebron fans cant controll a free agents decision what durant did in 2016 at the end hes a grown man
    2. Yall were roasting the warriors for blowing a 3-1 lead
    3. Yall were too busy celebrating LeBron winning a title with cleveland until the attention came to the warriors when durant signed
4 . to add on to what the youtuber said about these stars joining each other in the past lebron also joined d wade and chris bosh in miami 3 top 10-15 players in the league at the time just like how durant joined a 73-9 team
    5. Did the warriors win the finals when durant joined no that was what demarcus cousins did and yall dont roast cousins as much as yall talk about durant joining golden state
    6. Wanna know why its because they lost in the 2019 finals the same way yall wouldnt even be still mad at durant for joining warriors if they never would have won those titles just like the other durant superteams that failed because of injuries why are yall not mad at the 2021 nets? Because yall said they failed cuz of injuries
    7. The warriors litteritely recruited durant to their team when he was a free agent
    8. Funny how the narritave changes from all you fans that durant wasnt the number one option on the warriors championship teams in 2017 and 2018 once after steph wins his fourth title draymond talks about steph being doubled durant was still the clear number one option he was the back to back finals mvp
    9. Plus the main reason why draymond drove durant out of golden state is because he didnt like the fact that durant took over stephs team and was the best player
10 . Yall lebron bandwagons who are kids and havent even watched jordan played are only mad at durant because yall said the two rings he won lebron would have won those and have 6 instead of 4 and durant would have none because yall are still hurt over a move that yall said shouldnt have happened in 2016 that yall said would have resulted in bron tying jordan in rings then yall kids would try to say hes better

Nah bro is severally overrated he isn’t top 15 has little playoff success and has loaded teams when he’s did and the rings aren’t as value as Hakeem and Wilt so he is to blame.

Let me tell u something you cannot be telling me Hakeem is a first round exit when he was going up against 50+ win teams like the showtime lakers which he would beat. He had no help he has had tough western conference team and due to the front office screwing him what the hell was he suppose to do.

The game against sonics you are referring too Hakeem once again had no help and the Sonics had upset the mavericks in 1986-87, that series he had 49 and 25 but it wasn’t enough. Then in 1988-89 Hakeem had average 25 13 and 3 and he had no help.

And now you’re making his point... if people think Jerry West and Oscar Robertson are top 10 worthy then Durant should get the same treatment. People were calling him the greatest scorer of all time a few years ago, and now they’re going crazy with the hate. There’s no way you can convince me that they are that much better than KD

@@tip7284 , Alex English was the top scorer of the 80's. Scoring means nothing if you don't win. Durant has not won anything. His two championships do not count, no matter what anyone says. Durant has been a great scorer, that is it!
