Please stop telling me about Nick Kart 2.
I know.
It hurts.
I don't want a third.
Alright I wont talk to you about Nick Kart 2
Made a typo,
you meant "I do want a third."
Makes me upset cause you can find archived audio files for the characters or hell try to get most of the actors back. Unless Nick sucks at archiving their shit
Yes you do
Be right back, gotta contact GameMill and tell them about this HUGE fan of them.
Rugrats scavenger hunt holds a special place in my heart. I'd much rather have played mario party but didn't have it so.. yeah.
This was my first game with my N64 that I got for Christmas in 1998 when I was 6 years old so it holds a special place in my heart too despite that there’s not much to it.
Honestly, me too. I personally loved that game, along with Search For Reptar. Granted, I was maybe 5-6yo and knew no better, but I always had fun with those Rugrats games. Very nostalgic
yeah I had that game too & idk, I just liked it. I might be bad but eh, it's my childhood
You speak so perfectly to the millennial generation who all grew up on Toonami, Nick toons, video games and super heroes, keep up the amazing work!
Early Gen Z too.
@@adeptdamage3669 Hell yeah
I can understand not affording every voice actor for each character to record new dialogue, but couldn’t they at least have used archived audio for each character?
Are they too lazy even for that?
I can only imagine is because they didn't want to bother with lip-syncing
@@TheDoomBlueShell they could've had the chars speak without moving their mouths. It'd be lazy, but still something? But nah, even that was too much effort appearently, lol
Nicktoons Racing did that! Stuff like Patrick shouting "Patrick sad!" when he got hit by an item is clearly archived audio, but it worked!
@@devonwilliams5738 Nobody in the game industry is lazy... Get some perspective.
7:00
"It's just Nickelodeon GUTS for the SNES!"
"OH!!! OKAY! WELL THAT MAKES IT OKAY THEN!!! LET'S KEEP PLAYING!!!"
"Why would I tell you? That'd give you an advantage against me!"
"IT DOESN'T GIVE ME AN ADVANTAGE, IT MAKES US EQUAL!"
Begun, the decade old Game Grumps discourse has.
I wonder if people are still arguing in that comment section.
Arnie was in the right.
John was just spiting him for saying Symphony of the Night was “level-editor-y.”
Me and my sister played ALOT of Nickelodeon Party Blast when we were young, we had a shit computer, and it could only run that game, we would even share an entire keyboard just to play. It's pretty much one of the new good memories I have with her since me and her nowadays dont get along that well.
10:05 Also known as "nobody's heard of you so please move out of the way and leave me some space".
That rocko game gave me flashbacks to that Krusty the Clown game from the Simpsons. Who thought lame lemmings clones were a good idea?!
Look I respect your opinion, but any opinion where the Silver Snakes is not the best Legends of the Hidden Temple team is wrong.
Silver snakes 4 life! SsssSshhhhhhhhhhhhhh
I still have nightmares about Rugrats Search For Reptar. It will haunt me until the day I die
Me too. I got it since "They had no good games left" at Walmart and now I wonder what hidden gem I passed over for Rugrats Search for Reptar.
I used to play most of these games and now i feel badass for being able to beat guts when i was like 7
What better way to spend Halloween then playing bad Nick Games .
I see a lot of people talk about the disappointment of the Legend of Korra beat-'em-up game made by Platinum... but I don't hear many people even mention the 3DS tactics game, where Tenzin flying in on his bison is represented by wobbling the picture of him slightly, and the one thing that Earthbenders like Lin and Bolin can't handle in a fight is getting punched. No, seriously, they're weak to any and all non-elemental attacks. Like basic attacks.
Guessing next episode is gonna Parasite Eve: 3rd Birthday, might as well finish the trilogy.
Getting flashback of Game Grumps arguing over Guts
I've never heard about Express VPN before. It must be a new company.
Make sure to wear your RayCons while listening to Audible and log in to Express VPN before logging in to Raid Shadow Legends.
Also manscaping.
@@JohnDoe-wq5eu Yes. I love when gaming youtubers spend minutes shaving their beard in the middle of a video to show manscaping products. It really makes me wanna buy the product in question.
@@mattfox6116
Who doesn't love to hear a RUclipsr awkwardly talk about how they're going to shave their junk.
As much as I hate the other sponsors that have been driven into the ground that one wins hands down just for being the most awkward and cringe.
Austin, as a Nickelodeon fan, you cannot call Nickelodeon Kart Racers 2 a quickly pumped out sequel with the amount of deep cut references in the game. there was definitely a ton of more Nickelodeon love put into this game that deserves recognition. The lack of voice clips is definitely a sour spot, but the effort in references to these past shows kept me going.
They made a video game based on GUTS but *not* Legends of the Hidden Temple?!
I seriously wish they would reboot Rocko's Modern Life as a new show, I loved the new movie so much
"Purple Parrots for life."
Alright Blue Barricudas, you know who to take out next.
Taupe Tortoises rule!
the silver monkeys would like a word.
Considering how creative and fun Rugrats is, it's a shame they couldn't get ONE banger. Even though the demo to Royal Ransom will always have a place in my heart.
Search for reptar sort of rocks. Instead of throwing in a bunch of enemies so the game could have more action it stays down to earth, and is mostly nonviolent like the show was. You can beat the whole thing in like an hour, less than three if you want see everything (if you're a rugrats fan you probably will want to)
@@dudestep I haven't seen/ heard of this one before, thanks for the heads up
Royal Ransom was one of my big childhood favorites. I played through that game more times than I can count, haha. While I haven’t personally played it in ages so I can’t speak in regards of the controls, I’ve recently looked back at gameplay of it and honestly? It’s not that bad. Not GREAT, mind you, but for a licensed game aimed at young children, it was pretty alright.
@@BroadwayBrittany Yeah I only remember it from the little demo kiosks at McDonalds but it still left a good enough impression on me.
Search for Reptar, Studio Tour and Royal Ransom are solid games.
"The music feels 100% stock." Uh, I would reconsider that if I were you. For these reasons:
• In the A:TLA and TLoK courses, there are some instruments that sound like those you'd hear in those shows' soundtracks.
• In the Ghost Zone, at least the start of the music for that course sounds like the Danny Phantom theme song.
• Dreamland's music sounds fitting for JoJo Siwa.
ugh i love you , when you need this kind of video and then it magically appears
I realize in the grand scheme of things, voice acting probably isn't that high on the priority list when making a game, but for Nick Kart Racers, all they gotta do is take random voice clips from the shows, and there! You have voice acting!
That's what sonic and sega all stars racing and transformed did so why couldn't Nick do it.
So I'm still waiting to hear back from Nickelodeon about being on Legends of the Hidden Temple.
Austin, will you be my teammate?
I'm ready for that licensed Platinum trilogy video. Devastation is one of the best action games ever made, and on what was clearly a limited budget to boot.
Indeed. The only problem I have with it is not getting Corey Burton to reprise Shockwave. Maybe he was busy.
Of the three games I think it goes devastation, Korra, TMNT. With TMNT being the most disappointing by a wide margin.
Devastation was damn good, way better than it had any right to be.
But Jesus Christ, the loot and RPG mechanics makes the game a nightmare to replay in comparison to Bayonetta. It's always a hassle trying to replay the game and not knowing which weapons have way too good stats that it trivializes combat, and which weapons do chip damage.
@@ChristianWS. I've probably put more hours into Devastation than any other action game due to the Challenge mode, and honestly it just boils down to building up the highest rarity you've got of each weapon type. You can get into feeding it specific passive abilities if you want, those can tailor the weapon to certain play styles.
Really, once you've got several S weapons and a handful of SS just from playing on Magnus and Prime for a few hours you are set to tackle the more insane Challenges with pretty much every character. No other game gives the kind of rush TFD on Prime does.
@@goldglovegrappler1382 Eeeeh? I've beaten the game on all difficulties, and I agree that the game gives an amazing sense of rush that is quite unique. But I don't like coming back to a game and feel like I HAVE to play on the hardest difficult. I can't just go back to the hardest without a little bit of "training" on a lower difficulty.
So I try to play the game on the Commander difficultly, but then I need to relearn what stats I should use that aren't overpowered or does cheap damage. To replay the game I have to prepare mentally for it, its way more than necessary to replay Bayonetta.
And fuck yeah, the Challenges are fucking amazing, there's one with every single enemy and boss in an arena, it was way better than Angel Slayer in Bayonetta, since you can't stop between waves, its frenetic and amazing, you just keep going and going.
The one with the decepticons was cool and the one with autobots was a nice surprise.
I feel like the devs of Rocko’s Modern Life played the Peter Puppy level of Earthworm Jim, but didn’t understand what made that level work.
I unironically love Rugrats Search for Reptar and will defend it until the day I die
My personal worst Nick game was The Rugrats Movie on GBC
Sooooo much screen crunch....
You can see fine, but the camera is poorly programmed.
You unearthed some deep, long-buried memory of Rugrats Scavenger Hunt in me. How dare you.
Nickelodeon is only second to Disney when it comes to shitty licensed games.
I had a flashback to an old game show called finders keepers while watching this, it was made in the late 80s a whole decade before i was born so i have no idea how or where i watched it.
I absolutely love this guy, he always hits my nostalgia gland
Keep it up dude

_we’ll be riiiight back~_
I'm just glad to hear more people appreciating Project X Zone
"I guess I'll see you guys in two more years with Nick Kart Racer 3..."
Did that age well, or what?
I remember renting Rugrats Scavenger Hunt from Blockbuster. I had rented Super Smash Brothers previously, and I think it was the very first time I saw the drastic difference in quality of games as a 7 year old.
"Suikoden 4 is the best Suikoden"
Wow what the fuck
The biggest problem that series is has which super robot ones to have is all the levels have so many enemys they take over a hour to beat and those X Zone sprites scream put me into a Arcade Stlye 2d Beat Em Up
Project X Zone and its sequel are both fantastic.
I think there's hints of Danny Phantom's theme song in the Ghost Zone in NKR2:GP.
It would be super funny if GameMill Entertainment just out right trolled Austin by putting him as a playable character in Nickelodeon Kartracers 3. :P
Wow, Austin. That's one way of starting a video, saying that Suikoden IV is the best Suikoden. You got spunk, kid! I like it!
I had like 6 rugrats games growing up, many of which appeared in those assorted clips you included. However, there was also an All Grown Up computer game, and it might be worse than any of the ones you've shown (albeit i remember liking it as a kid, i also recall the game's controls being a hellscape).
Sort of hope it shows up here eventually.
Austin, idk if you'll see this but I've been watching for years and I gotta say your fucking great. I even love when you've edited for others. Thanks for keeping your dream going.
i was terrified you were going to put rugrats royal ransom on the list and i was preparing to throw hands
I swear that they specifically advertised that there was voice acting in Nick Kart 2
They did not.
The only Rugrats game I've played is Search for Reptaur on the PS1 and it was amazing. So many good memories
Bad Nickelodeon Games 3 with Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl let’s go
"Fun movie singular"
Excuse you, Austin. The Secret of the Ooze is a classic, my dude.
Suikoden 4 was my first suikoden, will always have a soft spot in my heart
No bulls*it, I always wanted to win a piece of the Agro Crag as a kid to put on display in my room. I dreamed every night about "taking home a glowing piece of radical rock".
How the fuck can the Ninja Turtles be fighting Batman in Injustice 2 one year and then be in a kart racer with Jojo Siwa the next I don’t understand this franchise anymore
Also, I’m pretty sure Jojo was included because her brand/likeness was bought by Nickelodeon
That dangaronpa 2 BGM on background is make me sleepy while watching this
i have actually covered that rocko game before and my gosh you had more patience than i did. i think i gave up on the first level lol
I will always support a video that has a Sonic R reference in it!
You forgot to mention that the composer for "The Last Airbender" on Wii was Mick Fucking Gordon
Also, the new G.I. Joe game from Game Mill is pretty solid. Not amazing or anything. But, still pretty fun with a lot of love for the series on display.
Ironically, unlike most games it seems like a game basically only for hardcore fans.
Also I heard they really did not get a good voice for Destro.
@@JohnDoe-wq5eu I didn't really notice anything wrong with the voice. I did, however, notice many glitches and the lack of lip syncing/ any mouth movement at all for the first 2 or 3 days. They patched it shortly after. Actually surprised me they'd put in the extra effort to fix their mistakes.
Guts gave me Game Grumps flashbacks 😂
'Flops out'
5:39 hell no 🏃 💨
Sees 🤡 nope, nope, nope, nope.
3:09 dude you could have at least flushed you monster.
"well were taking the, physical challenge!!"
Is that Ben Shapero at 5:49????
“Who doesn’t like Rocko?”
Hello, my name is Who now.
I know that the Ghost Rider video game mention was to be taken as a joke but the game itself surprisingly isn't all that bad. It's real short but it's still fun
Rugrats: Scavenger Hunt was the SHIT and you can NEVER tell me otherwise.
I remember owning Rugrats Scavenger Hunt as a kid. I played it a lot but always single-player (didn't have enough friends to play it with) and I also remember the tomb level scaring me because of the atmosphere and music and Angelica constantly stalking the map.
Also, someone referencing Project X Zone in 2020? Thanks for reminding me that I'm still not getting a Project X Zone 3 anytime soon.
Considering how things are going I wouldn't be surprised to see it turned into a horrible mobile game.
Sorry for being a downer.
@@JohnDoe-wq5eu Oof. Still, I'd probably take it.
@@Brawler1993
I respect the honesty. We all have at least one of our guilty pleasures that we would be embarrassed to admit we have.
Mobile gaming is one of those things that's very hit or miss. it's almost all complete garbage these days but there are a few that are at least playable and fun..... until they start kicking in with the gotcha mechanics. Then it's time to delete and move on.
Rockos Modern Life adult humor can be summed up in 6 words. Oh baby oh baby oh baby.
7:07 "how do you fucking land?!?"
Super Brawl 2
I would be EVO world champion if Super Brawl 2 had an actual tournament.
Hey hey hey hey I may agree with 95% of the things you say but dissing Supermarket Sweep is UNFORGIVABLE.
...Seriously though, it's pretty appealing to a 4-year-old to say "yeah just go pile everything into your cart for free."
There was one good Rugrats game, it was the Rugrats Adventure Game, which was a nice point and click adventure.
Did he just shit talk the TMNT Tournament Fighter?
Wow, that GUTS game sounds just horrible.
That Danganronpa 2 music playing in the background 👌👌👌
Dat DR 2 island music
I have vivid memories od the rugrats the movie gbc game and playing it obsessively as a kid along with that terrible nicktoons unite for ds
Finally!! I found an creator named Austin too.
Nicktoons Unite is a quadrilogy. 4 games to look at.
WOW, you got Nick Kart Racing 3 prediction right.
Eyyy, someone finally mentioned Rugrats Scavenger hunt! (it was called Treasure hunt over here!)
TMNT Tournament Fighters is actually my favorite TMNT game lol
I would submit my parents to countless hours of Rugrats Scavenger Hunt as a kid.
Sorry, mom and dad.
about the comcept of a escort mision, this concept comes form the Amiga game Sleepwalker and then Eek the cat use the idea, i think the lengt of stage make the project bad or the control the palyer can have over the character to protect but the idea dont sound bad for me.
You mentioned Project x Zone now you gotta do a video on the series, at least you will enjoy yourself playing it lol
Ah yes, a Project X Zone reference. Good. Did you actually review that?
Holy... I forgot about that Rugrats game but it all came back
these were all bad but that avatar wii game crushed my soul this is why we can't have nice things except for this video this video is a nice thing at least
Dude, I LOVED Studio tour as a kid
I legit LOVE Search for Reptar.
danganronpa 2 soundtrack on background - awesome.
Hey random question, have u lost alot of weight from the beginning of ur channel to now? New fan, cool to see the healthy progression.. enjoy the content
Rugrats Royal Ransom was epic
I used to play this Rugrats game on the PS2 that I had fond memories of, just can't remember the name. Lol
Thank you so much for all videos you made. You are one of my absolutely best youtubers ever. :)
Jsi borec. Mám moc rád tvoji tvorbu.
Wait dill literally goes to baby jail hah
the two rugrats games on psx were good only for the golf mini games .
Was that Melissa Joan-Heart playing Sonic?
I used to play the crap out of the other Jimmy neutron game and an older racing game called nicktoons racing
