- During the college football game between Alabama and Auburn, Auburn muffed a punt which Alabama recovered with less than 5 minutes to go. Auburn nearly stopped Alabama but Jalen Milroe was able to throw a touchdown pass of 4th and goal from around the 30 yard line to take a lead. On the final play of the game Auburn threw a pick 6.

The Iron Bowl is the best rivalry in College Football.

I like both rivalry’s “The Game” started in 1897 and “The iron bowl” since 1893 so they’re both up there the next one would be “Bedlam” since 1904
Even though I’m not from Alabama, I have watched this video 10 times and will probably watch it 10 more. This is hands-down the best game of the year

So they call the pick six back saying he stepped out of bounds, also called Jermaine Burton out of bounds and clearly wasnt on 1st down catch, didnt call the safety for extra points, called 2 TDs back, missed penalty on Au defense using clapping cadence to cause McLaughlin to snap ball early which resulted in a fumble, plus the fact we missed our field goal...so yeah this game basically wouldve been a blow out if the refs weren't trying to keep Auburn alive

On the 3rd down right before the game-winner, yes he went over the line, but it’s wild how many times Auburn was allowed to hit the receiver WAY early and get away with it to break up passes in this game. There were AT LEAST 5 instances of it, all on 3rd downs. The first time or two it was like ok it was a close play, the fifth time it’s like ok there’s no way they’re not doing this on purpose.
Down 4 with 4th and goal on their own 33 with mere seconds left and Bama scores on a winning TD pass!! Doesn't get any better than that!!!

I hope number 45 gets the recognition he deserves for that block on 4th and inches 2 1:33. I'm sure he will in film room but most fans will never really even notice how big that block was.

Watch around 4:36 as Bama’s #93 is tackled going after the fumble. AU fans don’t seem to ever see those missed calls. It’s all game long when playing there. Funny how they play Bama and UGA to the end at home. I really believe it’s time for refs to have to take a polygraph test following these games. Vegas is involved in these games.
I didn’t catch that. There were so many missed calls like that. It’s easy to tell which side the CBS announcers and the refs are!

Defense clapping on the errant snap...penalty wasn't called. The Auburn guy levels the punter in front of ref.....no penalty called. The refs were trash in this game
Jalen Milroe (like many other Alabama players) now drinks for free at any bar in Alabama, while Koy Moore will struggle with the basic "I played for Auburn" statement for the rest of his life.

The refs. Were trying to give it to Auburn.Three people in motion at the same time and called offside Bama,close to the end of game Bama reciever catches ball in bounds but was called out,even the ones covering the game said he was in.Roll Tide beat Georgia.

Honestly the refs were complete trash in this game. They made bad calls for both teams, however they really screwed Bama more than Cow patties. Burton was definitely in bounds, and the blind side block was weak on the TD they called back.
This is just one of a hand full of games that have absolutely burned those that place bets of football games. The emotion and hate going into this game elevates both teams enormously.
I don't understand why he just doesn't take off running on the 3rd down...

The Iron Bowl loss for Auburn was most definitely a coaching error. Had they left one fast man to chase Milroe they had it in the bag. Am a Bama fan all the way but the truth is the truth. Best bowl game in college football

A friend of mine is an Auburn grad and he talked trash all game long. As we got into the final minute, he went from annoying and bragging to rude and unsportsmanlike. When Bama hit the 4th and 31 for a TD, the look on his face was just priceless. I didn't have to rub it in. Just looked at him and laughed at him. He who laughs last, big mouth!

On the errant snap it was absolutely clear that the Auburn safety clapped his hands. That should have been a 5 yard penalty.... period. The Alabama center snapped on the clap, which was immaterial, because clapping alone is a penalty. Should have been 2nd and goal from the 3 or 4 yard line. Not third and and 21.

It was 4th and goal from Auburn's 31 yard line when Coach Freeze asked God "What should my defense do in this situation Lord?" God spoke to Coach Freeze and said "Rush two, keep one defender as a spy and drop eight into coverage. Coach Freeze thanked God and informed his defense in what to do. AFTER the Alabama QB sailed a perfect pass to the back of the end zone right into his receivers arms for a touchdown Coach Freeze asked God "why would did you tell me to rush just two defenders". God answered "Not sure? Hey Bear, why did you tell me to have him just rush two defenders?"
