Saw them on this tour but also on the mini club tour they did go warm up. It was in a small club in the Boston area, unbelievable they just jammed out. Sammy is the real deal. I had back stage passes for a show, all the handlers were like don't bother Sammy, we are going to do a group picture and blah blah blah. Next thing I know Sammy comes out strolls on over puts his arms around us, welcomes us, thanks us for being there and asks if there was any thing we wanted him to sign. He signed a stuffed bear with a Sammy shirt we bought for our young son. He couldn't have been any nicer. Years later we get on stage passes to stand behind the band on the stage during the show. This time my son is older, I bring a picture of him wearing a Sammy shirt playing his first guitar. I showed him the picture and he passed it around for the whole band to sign for my son. That is why Sammy can get guys like this to join a side project, his is just a great guy!!!

Sammy does not get the respect from reactors that he deserves. His solo stuff is lengthy and amazing. Try "Red", "Cruzin and Boozin", "Young Girl Blues".
... and don't forget Sammy got his start as the vocalist and second guitarist for Montrose, RIP to Ronnie Montrose who was another under rated guitar virtuoso. "Rock Candy" is a kick-*ss song from that band.

Please more CF! Do their song “Bigfoot”. The official video is super funny. It is from their second album “Chickenfoot III”. That is not a typo…they chose that name as a joke to supposedly skip the sophomore album which usually bombs after a monster debut album like the first CF album.
Where is the drum mach.....lip track.......let there be rock....hard school rock like this speaks for itself.....
