*NOTE: Berserk Ashnard is NOT included. The reason for this, is because I'm not sadistic enough to go through hard mode AGAIN, to simply record one fight. Only normal Ashnard is in here.
A friend of mine, HolyShadow requested that I make a video on Ike killing all the bosses in Path of Radiance. Well... here it is.

The detail in this game is amazing. At 1:35, Ike does what looks to be a prototype Aether. It's the same kind of flip, but incomplete with the finishing blow & backflip afterwards.
And this vid also does a good job showing that once he becomes a Lord, Ike's animations become more smooth, precise. His dodges aren't so excessive. It shows he's actually improving.
Half tempted to do a run where I RNG abuse Ike's levels to get 0 str and maxed skill for those delicious non-lethal critical animations.

2:32 Ike is just such a perfect player surrogate. He hates Oliver and so do we! He's colorful about it too, like, he lays IN to him! He's no GBA lord character with a stick in his butt. This is a westerners FE protagonist. They knew exactly what they were doing for this games international first impression.

Wait, you managed to attack the Crow King in his unshifted form? Damn it! I wish my game was still working because now I want to confirm if he stays still when you stay out of his attack range. I normally move forward in a strategic way (putting one of Hawks within his reach along with Reyson) while making sure I don't put a weak unit in his path to get slaughtered. So I'm normally near his attack range after the first turn...
Now that was awesome. Could you do one for Radiant Dawn also?
Is Ike the best lord battle wise in fire emblem or no?
In PoR, he could easily solo the game due to his good growths and Ragnell, which is the strongest sword in the game and can attack from a distance. Slap Wrath and Resolve skills and he was overpowered as hell.
He's definitely up there. Not sure if I'd say he's the "best" though. Pretty sure FE4's Sigurd and FE7's Hector rank pretty highly too. (Wonder how Sigurd is going to be in Heroes...)
Harkz0r knowing Heroes, sigurd is probably going to be good because of his weapon or some skill he'll have
It's tied between him and Sigurd. Sigurd is capable of soloing his game and so is Ike. Hector is very strong, but he's just not quite up there.
I know lore-wise he was stated as being the strongest hero.

banananana in RD i feel it sluggish and slow just compare how they ruin Astra and aether there you see the difference and even rexbolt that shit looks epically destructive in PoR and in RD they just put a black back color for every strong magic power

@@VideoGamesEpic I've handled berserk ashnard before. Only reason I did was cause I had supports helping ike out. Not engaging in the fight itself cause no damage, but it boosts the evasion and hit rate along with any perks they give. Oscar was who added Ike when I did it.

I've been playing this game (On chapter 21 rn) and I don't recognize half of these bosses. PoR just hasn't been memorable for me

You do know that if you save your elixirs for the Black Knight and Ashnard fights, Ike can solo the game right? I have been soloing Path of Radiance with Ike since 2006... it's literally easier than training your units normally, as once Ike gets to level 20 Ranger (and again at level 20 Lord) he becomes a killing machine. I also don't usually need to use stat items on Ike because, other than his HP, Luck, and Res, he usually turns out very potent. His HP averages around 49-53 for me in most solo runs at 20/20.
I would also like to point out that despite my long time doing Ike solo runs, I'm not even really the best Fire Emblem player. Not even close. I wouldn't even make it into the top 1,000 players, most likely. But I know that PoR on hard mode is a joke when Ike is so OP he can solo all four stages of Chapter 17 Day Breaks unpromoted, even with half speed and skill from Stage 2 onward.
With at least 2 Elixirs at 3/3 in Ike's inventory, even berserk Ashnard is a joke. Especially if you manage to pick up both Resolve and Wrath for Ike through the game (though it rarely works out that well for me, so I usually just use the occult scroll Stefan gives Ike in chapter 15 to give him Aether.
Really, with 3 elixirs you won't even need Ike to use skills against berserk Ashnard unless he gets STR screwed badly. But then, there are always Energy Drops...
Honestly, the hardest part of all the Ike solo runs that I still struggle with at times isn't defeating the Black Knight, or even Berserk Ashnard... it's keeping Elincia's useless ass alive for the duration of Chapter 26... You would think putting Ike on the front lines means they would prioritize killing him... But some units will skip over Ike to go after Elincia... Which makes finding the right place to put her on the battlefield when the force you to use her kind of tricky.
