      Agree!! The problem is that I don't have a Dior store where i live, and I never thought this was going to happen. But lesson learned!

      That is so odd all the tags are on everything. It’s obviously brand new never used and it is peeling right there or could get worse. I wish you could take it to the next level management some thing at least just to exchange for a new one.

    That’s very disappointing…I have seen so many luxury bags in store from the stock room with defects so quality control clearly isn’t fail proof. Sorry to hear you had this terrible experience! Xx

    The closest boutique to me is 4 hours each way. I just ordered a small Lady Dior online & it was pretty much perfect. There’s one itty bitty scratch on the bottom but that’s really nothing. The bag was $9k in Canadian funds. I’d be sooo pissed off if this happened to me. I’ve always heard Dior has exceptional customer service. I’d try & call & ask for a supervisor, no more emails.

      Yes, the closest Dior store to me is also around 4hrs. I finally talked to a manager and explained everything. She was able to receive the bag back and issued the return 🙌

    GIRLLL I felt your frustration through the video lol I would have cried honestly with their awful response or sue them because what the heck is wrong with them totally scamming you like that by sending you an imperfect used up looking defective bag and then saying you can't return it because it's not in a resalable condition which was THEIR fault to begin with. Soooo awful!

      I know!! I was so mad too but fortunately I complained so much and sent them so many pictures that a manager called me and accepted the bag back 🙌. I obviously didn't repurchase it lol

    I have delivered a return due to quality issue with Dior myself. I got the unpleasant note that it could take a year before i got an answer if it would be repaired, exchanged or if Dior would blame me for the defect. Im very sure to never ever buy anything from Dior again. I hate hate hate Diors "aftercare" service.

    This exactly happened to me weeks ago I’m lucky I chose store pick up ,as soon as the Dior associate open my box I noticed a scratch i obviously returned immediately and they took weeks to return my money , never again.

    I am sorry to hear that, however you should have pack everything that came with the bag, it is written everywhere in terms and conditions of return, as well you should not have to detach the glue yourself, because indeed they could clean it professionally of this glue without scratching it. The rule is simple if you are not sure to keep the bag do not do any manipulations with it, pack everything and send it back.

      Yes, I honestly didn't think about it when I packed it and returned it and they didn't tell me it was because of that, until I had the bag back and they called me. Then the manager told me send EVERYTHING lol.

    Thank you for this video. You effectively discouraged me from buying this bag. I immediately remembered that about 2 years ago I bought one of their handbag models online (less elegant than Lady Dior, but equally expensive) and I was extremely unpleasantly surprised by the quality of workmanship. I returned the bag and they gave me the money back, but at a strange exchange rate, because after currency conversion I lost about $200. My sister recently bought a Givenchy bag online and received it with a nasty scratch on the leather on the front of the bag. Don't ask me how much time I spent in a YSL boutique once, looking for the bag I wanted - WITHOUT imperfections! The sellers brought them one by one and all of them had some irritating defects.

      Ugh I'm sorry, that must have been so frustrating!! I can imagine having the bag of your dreams in your hands and see that something is wrong and then check another one and the same... that must have been terrible!

      that happened to me with chanel. ugh chanel has so much defects so I was thinking of switching over to Dior,.. but then I saw this video LOL

    I am highly surprised about how Dior handled this ! I bought a phone crossbody bag in leather at Le Tanneur and it was scratched I immediatly requested a return and sent them a photo of it. They accepted the return and sent me a new one. The whole process was 3 days (from returning it and receiving the new one) I only paid 100€ for this article and for a bag of 6000€ Dior is not able to provide quality service ? And they know this bag is really fragile. I went to Dior a week ago and tried this bag, they don’t even let you touch it without gloves on.

      @Habiboush wow, they don't let you touch it without gloves?? Probably because they know how delicate it is. Fortunately, I was able to return it after talking to a manager 🙌. But their lack of communication was so frustrating.

      @@anaidgzz82 nope they don’t theybdill come put their gloves on to manipulate it and if you want to try it they will put it on you and give you gloves too. Thank God you were able to return it afterall but this is not a good look for them especially now with the scandals they are in…

    Peeling part should be bonding material. Not necessarily leather. It could be just the coding. You can easily fix it with cream polish. Gently sand it to smooth out the area first before applying polish. It will fix it. I've done many bags including birkin and my Kelly. You won't be able to tell. Hope that helps.

      The quality of these brands are gotten so bad that I no longer purchase new items. I just bought me 2018 pvc mermaid boy bag. I can't wait to see it. I believe that model was from Karl Largerfield era.

      You might need to apply a few times before it evens out. Makesure each apply is dry first

    Oh that’s sad, I’m having second thoughts now because this is on my wish list. I hope you‘ll love it in the coming days and enjoy it as well. Putting a scarf maybe helps not to be reminded of the experience.

      I actually was able to return it and got my money back. I don't think I'm buying it again, I'm probably going for the Chanel Trendy CC or the Chanel 19 black with silver hardware.

    Hi! But if you order online you can simply return the bag and get a refund. At least in Europe they send you your money back in 14 days .....

      Yes, here they have to inspect the bag first. It takes up to 10 business days plus how long it took to arrive from my home to Dior. The problem was I think that I had the badges and I should've return them, even though the badges were fine and I wanted to keep them. Finally a manager called me, after I sent a bunch of emails with pictures.

    I feel you! ❤ The Online Boutique is a mysterious shop. Once they sent me a bag without the strap and they weren't able to send it to me, I only could return it although I wanted to keep it as it was a limited edition. I think if you had returned it at any Boutique saying you would like another colour, they probably wouldn't examined it that much and changed it out. The one thing you can do now is sending it in for repair, they can switch the handles out, but since 2 years there is a fee of nearly €250...

      A manager called me, I explained everything after sending a lot of pictures and I was able to send everything back and they refunded me. I did not buy it again.

Unfortunately I don't have a Dior near me so I couldn't see it in person and really inspect it. Or if you have a good Sales Associate that you trust to inspect the item for you, that is a good option too.

      I sent screenshots from the video, I also took more pictures after I made this video and sent them another email, and they called me that same day to ask me for the whole story, they apologized and they will exchange the bag 🙌

    I kept exchanging my mini order because literally EVERY bag came with a very visible defect and they blocked me from purchasing… Guess I will spend my money at a fashion house that cares about quality. I just couldn’t pay $5,500 pre tax for a messed up bag. It’s ridiculous

    I worked with a wealthy woman who had a collection of "luxury" handbags. Some were real, some were replicas, and honestly you couldn't tell the difference. This woman had more than enough money to buy anything she wanted. I literally saw her buy a Mercedes and a Jaguar with cash because she didn't like the interest. She taught me how to mix and match, especially with trendy bags, and that there was no need to spend $5,000 on something that would be out of fashion next year. It's totally OK to buy *amzrepe* replicas.

    Thanks for sharing Anaid. I would never spend money on brand names as I don't wear logos on me unless I was paid LOL. They should have refunded you and those threads should not be sticking out full stop. I would so take up a HUGE complaint with Ombudsman you may have in your country. In the UK I would have filed with Ombudsman and reported Dior for selling faulty items and not refunding.

    Wtf…..😮This is soo soo bad! How would you be responsible for the peeling???? So sorry! Unacceptable for Dior!!! Have you tried to return it in store? I bought the Lady Dior in the diamond pattern and and the zipper on the inside pocket broke. Exchanged it in store….and the zipper broke again. Exchanged it again for the grained leather. This one has held up great!

      I was thinking about the grained one, do you like it? Is it prettier than the other one?

      @@anaidgzz82So glad to hear that!! I really like the grained one. It’s kind of like Chanel caviar. I think I prefere the look of lambskin, but the agony of wear and tare….Can’t take it lol😅. So grained all the way for me! The leather on the diamond pattern is more plasticy I guess

    I knew before I finished this video that they were not going to accept your return because you kept the 3 badges which are what comes with the actual bag. Once you did that I knew they were going to screw you. They will not get my money at that price. Pre-love only for me since they don’t hold value well. Bottega and LV give a lifetime warranty. Even Longchamps gives a lifetime warranty on their hardware. Sorry it did not go well for me. But you know all the lux houses are struggling now. Sales are down significantly for all of them so they are not trying to accept a return if they can help it.

      I sent an email after the video with pictures of all the peeling and I might have yelled at them in the email a little bit, buuuut they called me back that same day and apologized and they are going to take the bag back 🙌
