- Today I'm going to be showing you how to make any car exhaust in to a mean sound. Now every car is different in the way their exhaust is setup so this is just a example on how to do it. I hope everyone has fun, and hope this helped you make you're car sound nice. Yes, it is a exhaust leak, but some people don't know how to do little tricks like this. Its fun sometimes to mess around, as long as you know how to put it back to stock when your done. Below are some recommended items you can get to produce this exhaust style.

Better remove that exhaust pipes directly on the motor :D, so you can see the flames coming out of your cylinders.. Better remove that front cover, so everyone else can see them too!

Step two: pay 50 dollars to remove muffler and replace with pipe
Step three: avoid gas leaks going to the cabin
Step four: look more educated in front of peers

I know im late on this vid but why are people hating on this? This is the same thing as doing a muffler delete(done by many car enthusiasts may I say). I actually had my Audi with a open downpipe for some time before recently getting it fully straight piped. Give the guy some credit, he at least took the time to create and upload this video.

You could probably afford a proper exhaust
imo the best thing to do is take it to an exhaust shop (unless you can weld) and have a straight pipe from the diff back made off the flange. That way you can try it out for a while and bolt on/off whichever you prefer. You might pay $60-100 ish for it, but of all the exhausts I've had done, that has always been the best bang for buck option. Had some just cut and welded, but they cant be changed again without more cutting and welding.
This is funny, I had a buddy pay $800 to straight pipe his g37. (Got lots of money from inheritance) he told me it was a good deal, he crashes on the highway 3 months later…

No and 99% of the people on here have no idea what they’re talking about. A muffler simply dampens your vehicles engine noise, removing it doesn’t do anything harmful to the vehicle, it only makes it obnoxiously loud for some

Straight pipe from the diff back, straight pipe from the cat back, or just straight pipes. Guess it depends how far you go with it, as to what its called. But at least where I live, we state where the straight pipe starts.

What I did is I had enough room to flex my pipe to wear I could put the left hole on the right bolt and tighten it up and it’s basically straight piped and you can still go back to quiet afterwards

I have a 2001 Audi A4 3.0 v6; Can you please explain to me where about’s are underneath the car I need to I’m do and put those washes in; since it’s a V6 will live bait two pipes that I will have to do this modification to? Would this modification allow less restriction of your exhaust allowing your engine to release burned gasses easier to increase performance? I heard that four stroke engines need a certain limit of back pressure, does this mod give negative effect of back pressure?
If i'm not mistaking 4 strokes don't need any back pressure but 2 strokes do
Both two stroke and four stroke engines need back pressure if your car has a turbo you can straight pipe it, but if it doesn’t have a turbo then you’ll burn your valve’s resulting a loss of power and miss firing of the engine.

I get what you're after, and the price is right, but the stink of monoxide would stop me from even considering this. There's a boatload of reasons the exhaust extends uninterrupted to the rear, like poisoning and suffocation.

This is basically creating an exhaust leak. The issue here is you're going to create issues with the gas trying to escape the sides and the rear creating an odd back pressure scenario. Your best bet is to do as I did and search online for an inexpensive "straight pipe muffler delete." ISR makes one for my car that's $140 and it provides a finished look while shooing the exhaust properly out the back while using the stock flange of your specific car.
My v8 mustang now sounds like a pitbull thanks dude... Your chihuahua sounds good too!
i had my resonator and my mufflers replaced with straight pipes, for $200, even though i have a v6 supercharged, im not creating any leaks and mishaps for emissions

My falcon has a big ol leak in it, did a cat delete with some high flow extractors, turn out the flanges weren't the same, but on the plus side it now shoots big ol flames😂

actually this has nothing to do with laws against noise pollution, now this is also a safety concern because your exhaust is dumping directly under the cab. might sound cool but there's a reason your tail pipe dumps behind the car.

Come on guys don't go cheap and just disconnect the exhaust! Do it right buy an exhaust system if you can't afford to lay that kind of money down then head over to a muffler shop they will cut you muffler and resonator out($75-$150) Same affect and you don't have exhaust gas entering your car and plus don't forget the heat it puts out!! You ever seen glowing red hot headers? The heat they are putting out will seriously cause some damage to your car just because you want to have good exhaust sound. If that's what you want don't buy a "Honda" so he calls it 😂

Also, adding salt and sugar to your gas tank will add power to your engine and the abrasive properties will clean away all the carbon on your pistons and valves and clean out your injectors. Definitely late but if anyone can answer that would be great. I have a plugged/broke muffler which is causing too much back pressure and misfiring and stuff. Would this be an ok short term solution to replacing it ?

it will make your car or truck louder but have a exhaust leak which wouldn't hurt much because back pressure is bad for you Engine and exhaust leak will decrease back pressure not bad for your engine just be careful where you put like exhaust leak because it might leek in your car and make you sleepy and possibly die of carbon monoxide poisoning
