I adopted a cat a few weeks ago. The rescuse she came from sold the litter lifter in their little store. It is the greatest scoop of all time. I use it with fine litter and it is so fast and easy.
lol Wessie was such a big ham in this video. So cute. He is always a cooperative good boy but this one stood out for him. So distinguished wearing the harness!

Hi, I just wanted to thank you - I recently adopted a pair of kittens for the very first time and I was a little overwhelmed getting started. Your channel has been a godsend.
I've bought a bunch of stuff you've reviewed, but my favorite was the Litter Robot 3. It's pricey & huge, but well worth it in my opinion (especially for multi-cat households). One thing that would be cool to see your twist on is behavior training videos for common things cat owners have to deal with such as crate/leash training, general health routines that we should be doing (trimming nails, enrichment), etc. It's kind of a different area than the usual product reviews, but I think there's a lot of opportunity for content. There's are lots of people doing similar content (Jackson Galaxy for example), but you might be able to present new info or the same info in a different way? Anyway, all the best and Happy New Year!
The lab testing of the foods is really great. That's really valuable since that's not something that the average consumer has access to! It would be nice to go back and update previous reviews with lab testing.
We've had a couple of the thermo-kitty heated cat beds for our very old girl, Skittles. She's about to turn 18 and she spends about 21 hours each day in her heated bed(s). She loves them and we're very glad to have found them to have been able to give her something that adds comfort to her life. We used to have to just heat up the dryer for her and she would stay in it until it lost enough heat that she would call for someone to pick her up and "taxi" her to a lap for scritches.
Hi Mallory! 😸 I'm a brand new subscriber & long time kittie mom (I've had kitties non-stop for over 35 yrs until my Leo crossed the rainbow bridge on 2/13/2020; his mom & brother crossed over in 2018). I've been fostering a kittie (Mittens) since 12/11/21 & I'll be finalizing the adoption in about 2 weeks. I just want to share with you that I'm really impressed with the videos I've watched so far: best cast litter boxes, litters (LOVE Dr Elsey's), grooming tools and, just a few mins ago, the best products of 2021. You are very easy to listen to, you're knowledgeable, your enunciation is awesome and, finally, I can feel your sincerity & genuineness with each video 😻🥰 Thank you for sharing!! We really like our new Breeze litter boxes. It's so much cheaper in the long run, cleaner, less stuff to throw out, and our cats adapted really quickly.
I agree with this the Breeze System is amazing. I only have one cat, but he has hyperthyroid and kidney issues so he pees a LOT. I couldn't keep up w scooping, and needed something for odor control. The breeze litter box was even in my bedroom when I had a roommate and couldn't keep the box anywhere else. I never had an issue with smell, as long as I scooped his poop right away, but even then, sometimes I didn't even know he'd pooped and it sat there for hours. The pee smell is totally masked in the box w the pee pads, and I rarely even have to change the litter bc it just doesn't hold much, if any, smell. Because of that, you don't use a lot of the pellets, just add some on top, and clean box out maybe once every 6 weeks or so. The litter is expensive, but I spend less bc I use so little of it.
I really appreciate all of the videos. I highly recommend the Litter Lifter. I do have to replace mine about twice yearly as I have 3 cats, 3 litter boxes, and scoop each one about 3 times daily. A suggestion I have would be to review some cheaper products on occasion. For instance I found at Walmart some small, shallow food dishes with a silicon non skid base. Around 4.00 USD. Also I don't know if the Vet can cover this, my formally outside rescue cat was just diagnosed with hyperthyroidism. I will be using the transdermal gel on inner ear. Videos make it look easy but he doesn't like his ears messed with. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks

Contempocat wall shelves and climbing pieces! Priced simiarly to bookshelves except the Contempocat ones are designed to withstand the weight and force of a cat (or cats) jumping on them. I've found most regular bookshelves either don't have a weight bearing rating or have too low of a weight bearing limit for safe use with cats and not destroying your drywall (gotta love those long screws!)
I am in a financial spot where I am unable to try almost any of the products you recommend, but I continue watching because of how much I learn from your videos about all the little things I haven't thought about that could improve my cats life or better fit his personality. I like learning about what works for other cats, because my cat used to have some smaller problems and I hope to help others in my personal life if the situation were to arise for them. Your videos are really straight forward and in a comfortable and clean format, so they're pretty soothing and easy to follow. I ended up getting a Petlibro water fountain after watching your video on it! I was hesitant at first, but my cat loves it!
Litter Lifter is really good! I just got it in today. I ordered it after seeing this video and it really is "life-changing"... it's kind of nuts how well it works. I use it with the grass based litter from Chewy and it flies through without any need for shaking. Cuts down the time to clean the litter by a lot. Way easier on my back, not having to bend over as long either.

I've been using the litter lifter for four or five years now. It's weird to praise a pooper scooper's design, but it's the only one I've found with slats the perfect distance apart to allow clean litter to slide right through while also catching all the clumps and - er - tootsie rolls. I've given them as gifts. In theory, my cats should love the heated bed, but it takes too long to heat up.
My husband and I adopted 2 cats in 2020 and I started watching you and Jackson Galaxy even before we got them so I could be prepared. I still watch your videos and love your reviews because you really talk about lifestyle and a product, not just how well it works. This has helped save me money and decide what's best for us and our kitties!
I got one of those K&H Thermo-Kitty heated beds for Mr M. Kinda small for a big cat and the raised edge seems to bother him enough he keeps going back to his old bed. So we got another K&H heating pad to put underneath it and now he is happy again.

I have a scoop very similar to the one you show. It's a game changer! This is so much easier to scoop with a wide scoop! When I have to take care of relative's cat, I bring my big scoop because using a regular/small one feels terrible now.
By far the best product I found is the ModKat adjustable/flip top litter box. It is just the right size. Tall enough for the highest spraying cats and perfectly large for cats to turn around in. You can choose how open you want the top too. Also comes with a specialized liner and clips. Couldn't ask for a better litter box.
I just got 2 kitties, so finding your channel has really helped me..I bought the raised feeding bowl, my cats use it all the time ..I also bought the metal scoop that you liked..it works great for me. I enjoy all your reviews!
Thank you for your video! Really good recommendations. One comment I have is that the disposable litter boxes would probably work best with wood fiber cat litter (or any other featherweight litter). Clay can weigh too much and make those boxes difficult to sift, plus good wood fiber litters can clump liquids more effectively, making the disposable catbox last longer.

I really love your channel! I'm very thankful for the recall alert program too. Your video on food and the links provided really helped me pick out better cat food for my cats. Also, I'm not sure but I think I remember seeing a comment you left to someone saying you had trained your cat to scratch specific small rugs or something so they wouldn't rip up all your carpet, but I'm not fully confident it was really this channel I saw that on. If it was, how did you train you cat to do that?? I'm getting desperate. I have lots of different scratchers and my cat still mainly wants to scratch the carpet.

I'm just curious--have any of your Experts addressed the Raw versus Cooked wet cat food "debate"? Are there any good commercially available natural raw cat food brands available? I noticed that JoAnna Pendergrass got her veterinary degree from Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine which is located on the campus of Virginia Tech (where I got my business degree). Construction had just started the year I graduated so I never saw what the buildings looked like.

Scooper sounds great but not good for people with back trouble need something is longer so you don’t have to bend over as far great products. Interested to see what you have next. Great cats, look like they’re very content and very happy.

Yes! I started using Dr. Elsey's clean protein and ziwi peak air dried because of this channel. The change in his health has been dramatic. I mix them together and if I get the 6 pound bag and the 2 lb bag they both last about 2 months. So it not as expensive as people might think. I feed him wet food too. I bought other products, and it's improved the quality of my cat's life. I was wondering if you might start a subscription model for some of us that would be more than happy to pay a few bucks a month to help support the channel. Thanks!

@@AllAboutCatsYT I was feeding him mostly a very high carb food before (wet food too.) So now he has a lot more energy and not lethargic. People are always commenting about how good he looks. I don't really care about how my cat looks, I'm mostly just happy he is healthy in general. I don't know what they are feeding their cats, but other people took notice and started paying attention to what they were feeding their cat and how many carbs, ect. And I see a difference in their cats too. My observation is that if you feed cats too much carbs they tend to get lethargic. But that isn't in any way a scientific or medical observation. I just wanted to float the idea of the subscription model so that it's out there in case you were considering it. I'm pretty good at brainstorming, so it's just that kind of suggestion. It could be on the website or something. Happy new year!
Your videos have been so helpful with my first cat. It's always nice to learn something new and be more confident that I'm on the right. I have a suggestion for both reviews and medical talks. I'd love to see a review/discussion on toys for cat who aren't affected by catnip! Silver one and catnip don't seem to do anything for my cat, but I've found that she loves rope toys. I learned macrame to make her cat-sized rope toys. DIY enrichment would be nice too. For medical, can you guys do one on allergy/respiratory issues? I have a vet appointment scheduled but I'd love to learn more

After watching all your videos deep-diving & researching litter & litter boxes, I settled on 2 modcat boxes & the pretty litter as well as the large stainless steel litter box. Very happy with those. The tracking issue w/the pretty litter is why i stopped using it before but it's very very minimal with the modcat (switched from Iris to modcat). Loving it. Now to research and watch your vids on cat food :P Have a cat that just won't eat anything but kibble, but thinking freeze-dried might be the way to go for him. Give Wessie & Forest a hug for me and Happy New Year to you guys!

I have several of the smaller Necoichi Elevated Cat Food Bowls, they are great and they come out with new patterns frequently.
I've been using the litter lifter for four or five years now. It's weird to praise a pooper scooper's design, but it's the only one I've found with slats the perfect distance apart to allow clean litter to slide right through while also catching all the clumps and - er - tootsie rolls. I've given them as gifts.
In theory, my cats should love the heated bed, but it takes too long to heat up.

I got one of those K&H Thermo-Kitty heated beds for Mr M. Kinda small for a big cat and the raised edge seems to bother him enough he keeps going back to his old bed. So we got another K&H heating pad to put underneath it and now he is happy again.

I have a scoop very similar to the one you show. It's a game changer! This is so much easier to scoop with a wide scoop! When I have to take care of relative's cat, I bring my big scoop because using a regular/small one feels terrible now.
By far the best product I found is the ModKat adjustable/flip top litter box. It is just the right size. Tall enough for the highest spraying cats and perfectly large for cats to turn around in.
You can choose how open you want the top too. Also comes with a specialized liner and clips.
Couldn't ask for a better litter box.

Thank you for your video! Really good recommendations. One comment I have is that the disposable litter boxes would probably work best with wood fiber cat litter (or any other featherweight litter). Clay can weigh too much and make those boxes difficult to sift, plus good wood fiber litters can clump liquids more effectively, making the disposable catbox last longer.

Also, I'm not sure but I think I remember seeing a comment you left to someone saying you had trained your cat to scratch specific small rugs or something so they wouldn't rip up all your carpet, but I'm not fully confident it was really this channel I saw that on. If it was, how did you train you cat to do that?? I'm getting desperate. I have lots of different scratchers and my cat still mainly wants to scratch the carpet.

My baby has a stand up hepa filter air purifier and I use a sifter, it came as a set by Arm and Hammer.

I just found your channel today and have subscribed. It looks like you provide a lot of useful information. I will be watching a lot of your videos over the next several days. I'm just curious--have any of your Experts addressed the Raw versus Cooked wet cat food "debate"? Are there any good commercially available natural raw cat food brands available? I noticed that JoAnna Pendergrass got her veterinary degree from Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine which is located on the campus of Virginia Tech (where I got my business degree). Construction had just started the year I graduated so I never saw what the buildings looked like.

Yes! I started using Dr. Elsey's clean protein and ziwi peak air dried because of this channel. The change in his health has been dramatic. I mix them together and if I get the 6 pound bag and the 2 lb bag they both last about 2 months. So it not as expensive as people might think. I feed him wet food too. I bought other products, and it's improved the quality of my cat's life.
I was wondering if you might start a subscription model for some of us that would be more than happy to pay a few bucks a month to help support the channel. Thanks!

@@AllAboutCatsYT I was feeding him mostly a very high carb food before (wet food too.) So now he has a lot more energy and not lethargic. People are always commenting about how good he looks. I don't really care about how my cat looks, I'm mostly just happy he is healthy in general. I don't know what they are feeding their cats, but other people took notice and started paying attention to what they were feeding their cat and how many carbs, ect. And I see a difference in their cats too. My observation is that if you feed cats too much carbs they tend to get lethargic. But that isn't in any way a scientific or medical observation.
I just wanted to float the idea of the subscription model so that it's out there in case you were considering it. I'm pretty good at brainstorming, so it's just that kind of suggestion. It could be on the website or something. Happy new year!

I have a suggestion for both reviews and medical talks. I'd love to see a review/discussion on toys for cat who aren't affected by catnip! Silver one and catnip don't seem to do anything for my cat, but I've found that she loves rope toys. I learned macrame to make her cat-sized rope toys. DIY enrichment would be nice too. For medical, can you guys do one on allergy/respiratory issues? I have a vet appointment scheduled but I'd love to learn more

After watching all your videos deep-diving & researching litter & litter boxes, I settled on 2 modcat boxes & the pretty litter as well as the large stainless steel litter box. Very happy with those. The tracking issue w/the pretty litter is why i stopped using it before but it's very very minimal with the modcat (switched from Iris to modcat). Loving it. Now to research and watch your vids on cat food :P Have a cat that just won't eat anything but kibble, but thinking freeze-dried might be the way to go for him. Give Wessie & Forest a hug for me and Happy New Year to you guys!
