I’ve been a Buccaneers fan since I was nine years old. This was very well done, and it takes me back. That 95 yard pick six against Philly had my mom wondering what the heck I was jumping up and down in the living room and yelling about. This was very much earned and well deserved. I am so glad Ronde Barber got into the Hall of Fame.

When Ronde made the pick 6 vs Philly in the NFC Championship Game to seal the win I jumped out of my seat at home as my knees became weak and I collapsed to the floor in complete ecstasy. "My Bucs are going to the Super Bowl", I shouted. Finally!!!🤩

Monte Kiffin deserves a lot of credit too. He recognized that Ronde had some unique skills and he game planned to let him use them to the fullest. Before Ronde the guy that played the nickel corner was just the guy who came in and covered the extra receiver on passing downs. Nobody at that time had really used an inside corner as a weapon. I think a lot of lesser coaches would have missed it because nobody else was using their corners that way.

    • @jsimmons12

Excellent production & though it is Ronde's moments, what struck me most was a statement by John Lynch. When he discussed how Ronde was a lifter with the Bucs, there was real pain in his words about how some left whether it was "their choice or not". The injury Lynch overcame when he went to Denver was significant & I wish the Bucs had been as loyal to Lynch as it appears he wishes he could have been to Tampa.

Linebacker; corner; safety and D-Tackle. He was amazing, thank you for the memories. I had the privilege of talking with him when Big Dog, (R
I.P.) had his radio show. Both of them were taken back because I'm from San Diego. Why are you a Buc fan? It was the defense, but it was Ronde that I identified the most. Thank you, number twenty. You redefined the position.

Hi Ronde! I watch the Bucs play every game and you are the reason I kept watching and have enjoyed it because I loved to see you get an interception and run with the ball in any game. I started watching when Gruden was coach and you were outstanding in most games. Also, I googled where you were from and I found that you were from Roanoke, Virginia where I grew up. I went to Cave Spring also but about 30 years before you. I really enjoyed watching your legacy movie and especially with winning the Eagles game; when you grabbed that ball and ran with it; winning the game, which was so wonderful!!

The guys from the Super Bowl team we’re still cut from a different cloth. They had that Ronnie Lott toughness. Guys like Mike Alstott , John Lynch, Sapp, Brooks and Ronde Barber was the ultimate in toughness question he didn’t complain, so you never heard about it… a torn PCL, and a broken hand and shutting his mouth so he could play, they truly were built different.
If you watched how hard John Lynch and Ronde Barber threw their bodies into the tackles, you can imagine how much damage they took. Rondae and Lynch and brooks were actually 20 pounds underweight. Rondae was hitting their biggest receivers with hitting their biggest TEs and running backs.
They were always the smallest men and they always were feared.
They were actually the beginning of the leak, realizing speed matters more than size .
Before the Tampa Bay buccaneers linebackers were 250+. Safeties or 220 an actual position.
When they literally change the name of a formation after your defense, because it is so incredible … you know you’re the best
