So I'm here studying random Animate tutorials for my Motion Graphics class when I realize.... I recognize this voice.... I do believe you are my motion graphics teacher... Haha!!
ElikattaTV haha! Yep you are correct El :) in fact in a couple of weeks this video will be a part of one of your assignments :) after the Panda dance I always look forward to your creative ideas!
Thanks Katie! At first I didn't and it would take me forever to make videos - but then my college students started requesting that I leave them in there because they are often the mistakes they would run into as well. So I am glad you find value in them too :)
Hello ... a question, could you control the reproduction of the animation with the browser scroll? when you go down with the scroll control, go play the animations ... thanks.
Hi, thanks for your helpful tutorial. can we still play this animation as loop if we put an action "stop" at any frame? Let say if I have a purpose to make an interactive learning, and at the main menu, we need to play running BG while the user still thinking which button they will select to the next step.
A stop action on the main timeline for this project will stop the scrolling background. If you want the background to keep moving and constantly loop you would have to create a seamless background graphic (where the left edge matches up with the right edge) - put the graphic in a movie clip, and animate it INSIDE of the movie clip. For constantly scrolling backgrounds with seamless graphics it is a little more complicated. I intend to make a tutorial video on this type of scrolling background within the next month. As soon as I do I will add a link to this comment so you can check it out.
One more, if I publish the animation as windows projecton (.exe), what code do I need to put in the actions at the first frame to make a fullscreen to the desktop of the audience?
I would check out this Adobe Help article for Full Screen script and the various options you can create with it - help.adobe.com/en_US/ActionScript/3.0_ProgrammingAS3/WS2E9C7F3B-6A7C-4c5d-8ADD-5B23446FBEEB.html
Thank you. This is the clearest and most easy to follow tutorial I've found on this after hours of searching!
