- Been playing with the new Victrix Pro FS Arcade Stick this week and here are my first impressions! Did 3 separate sessions so watch as my opinions develop about it and as we learn and discover new features!

Well, hope so, because Momochi won Evo Japan with the Victrix Pro FS.
I can say this channel was a huge influence of me getting a fight stick no regrets tho

Ooo shoot I some how misses this I have a qanba obsidian I snagged for 99 and a Panthera evo.
Damien which one you like better? I have a Razer panthera with the touchpad the one you can unplug the usb connector. But was being thinking about getting a Victrix pro. How is the Qanba obsidian ?
@@VideoGamesNYC I actully turned my obsidian into a hitbox. buts its really sturdy stick and for 99$ when I snagged it on sale. the vitrix is really nice tho just more then id probably pay for a single stick

Have you seen that High Score Girl anime on Netflix, the animation style is a bit jarring at first but it gets pretty good. I think you'd like it, especially if you're a Street Fighter fan or fighting game fan in general.
That reactive light seems like a useful feature. You could use it to determine the input lag within a game by filming the game and the stick at the same time, and then counting the amount of frames between the light turning on and the action happening in the game.
You seem to only have sticks with Sanwa parts. You should get some Seimitsu, Fanta and Crown levers and buttons to try them out. You should also try some Sanwa lever modifications like springs,shafts, actuators, gates, optical/magnetic PCBs and the new OttoDIY V2 and V5 kits. Different switches for both the lever and buttons would be cool as well. There is a lot of fun to be had by modifying the internals of the sticks.

Mods make them better IMO. All my JLFs have the Otto V5 w/ the 1mm oversized actuator, 2 lbs spring, and I swapped out the TP-MA for Cherry D44X switches. I'll never go back to stock.
@@NihongoGamer Those are videos I would love to see! I'm a novice level stick modder, but I'd love to see your production quality along with some variety inside the sticks to learn a bit more and have fun doing it.
Are you gonna get those gamerfingers? I was the guy that linked you the japanese site selling them lol. I wanna see your thoughts on them since reviews on the gamerfingers are kinda rare at the moment.
As i already mentioned before, the cold metal case is gonna be uncomfortable in a colder environment, especially if you have sweaty hands when you're excited (had a stick with a metal case). And of course it's pretty expensive.
Gotta agree with you. But it can be solved by put artwork or plexi glass.
I'm honestly thinking about getting both an Atrox and a Panthera.
for an arcadestick at 350 USD you should have more features... like multiplattform compatibility... at least xbox one, ps4, switch and PC... also, it doesn’t have a touchpad what 100 USD arcadesticks have... to me it’s just stupidly overpriced, even it really looks nice... sanwa buttons and stick unit are nowadays common in way cheaper arcadesticks, so nothing special
Because it doesn't have a touchpad, I can or cannot reset my character position in practice mode in tekken 7? Because that would really suck.

I just noticed. You don't have a Qanba Obsidian fightstick review.
I ordered my Victrix Pro FS yesterday. Just wondering how you feel about the square gate featured in the stick. I am so used to octagon that I am already thinking about swapping it out when I get the stick. What are your thoughts on the square gate? Also, are the buttons 30mm or 24mm? I couldn't find the specs other than that they are Sanwa. Thanks

What’s your best stick overall?
Do you know you can wrap the cable around the handles at the top. That's it's core purpose.
You should try getting some of those foam button silencers or the new version of the Sanwa silent buttons. I personally don't really like the spongy feel of the normal silencer pads, so I'd recommend checking out the little kahuna button silencers on paradise arcade shop's site. These smaller silencers sit on the actual switch head instead of the bottom of the button body.
Or you can replace the buttons entirely for the Gamerfinger HBFS G3 silver cherry switch buttons, I think they're the quietest buttons out right now.
Also have you tried using a Korean style lever/joystick? The Crown CWK 303FK and 309MJ can fit in most cases, directly replacing the JLF, but you'd need an additional wiring harness and mounting plate. You can also try the Otto V2 kit for the Sanwa JLF that adds a Korean style silicone restrictor gate. I haven't tried it yet but apparently it'll give a very similar feel to a Korean lever while keeping all that JLF goodness.
Sir Charles if you haven’t tried the Otto v2 I’d recommend it if you aren’t keen on investing on a Kstick setup. I’m in love with my Otto v2 haven’t looked back. Honestly I’d carry spares just in case something ever happened in tournament setting.
Would you consider reviewing the hori fighting edge? I think its a great stick

I have an idea for you, NihongoGamer: try installing hayabusa buttons and the hayabusa lever into your Victrix Pro FS. Maybe your fighting games will be more responsive than ever with hayabusa parts.
Most people would say that statement is completely false. As someone with multiple arcade sticks my hori h buttons are my least favorite. Where is any proof that the hori h buttons are more responsive, my experience is the exact opposite.
@@kp7505 hayabusa buttons are liked by a lot of people tbh, the hayabusa lever is trash tho Imo. I don't like the hayabusa buttons either but there are loads of people that swear by them.
Is this stick compatible with Pc and PS5? Also which one TE2+ or this Victrix?
What is the input lag/response time difference between the Pro FS and updated Razer Panthera?
Hey I was wondering if there is a way to add silencers to panthera evo switches? or would I have to replace all the buttons with other ones.

No
I say no because essentially you are paying 350 dollars for the encloser. In the end the buttons will always be the same, the stick will always be the same. You can get the exact same performance from a stick that cost a couple hundred dollars less.
Can't say so cuz I got two sticks with that price, Hori Fighting Edge and Razer Panthera DBFZ edition. tax and shipping included.

Hi @nihongo gamer, can you tell me, is this victrix use standard vewlix layout? Because from what I see, there is unusual distance between stick and buttons , unlike many "Vewlix-based" stick
It is vewlix in the button placement but the stick does look further away from the buttons.

NihongoGamer just needs draw a picture and send it to one of the viny skin makers once they start making them for this stick and then he could have his nice custom art still

I'd like to have a stick which response time was so fast it would be illegal. So like having a friend coming to your house and you can tell him like "dood this stick it's so fast that is illegal"

For Razer Panthera Evo if you press on the edge of the button does yours get stuck?
I have to press center for it to work well.
Or does all arcade stick like that?
I had the Evo and had the same problem. The buttons would stick if I pressed on the side. I ended up sending it back and getting the original Panthera instead.

Does Original Panthera has the same problem or is it good?
@@davilasvas6178 I'm not expert but I much prefer the original. The shape isn't as comfortable as the Evo, but the overall build seems much higher quality to me.
Y’all should have just replaced the Razer proprietary buttons with Sanwa, or seimitsu, orrr whatever is your most preferred buttons

Probably not. I’ve played on GC controller and I wouldn’t like to play smash without analog control

Its probably just me, but i think lights on sticks are distracting....the flashing catches my attention too much
Its a gimmick and utterly useless. They are trying to get people to buy it by making it flashy. Some people do actually have the "ooh shiny" syndrome and buy crap with lights and gimmicks lol.

Not yet. But if hit box wants to offer me a review unit I’d be well up for trying it :)

haven't tried the dragon but it looks really nice. If I had space for it in my house I'd be interested but the victrix pro works well for me since it's pretty portable
