I love when you say “as quick and it come is as quick and it goes” I had a momma be rude to me and tell me not to have kids bc a newborn is terrifying to have. But when I said it doesn’t last forever I get a death stare. It’s just nice to know I’m not the only one that realizes this. And look at his hair❤️

I have inverted nipples too, and I’ve been sooo worried I won’t be able to breastfeed! Thank you so much for opening up about your inverted nipples and showing that it is possible to breastfeed 🥰
There is a nipple everter from Lasinoh you can purchase to see if that will help!

Just don’t give up. It can be very hard and difficult at first. I know it was with mine. I had to use a nipple shield with my first born and second born, but with my last 2 I was able to successfully breastfeed without a shield! I also pumped and donated thousands of ounces to other babies, so having inverted nipples definitely doesn’t make it impossible. We just got to have determination and put in a little more effort! 🥰
So appreciative of you sharing details! Makes it all seem so much more do-able and normalized.
I loved the hospital stuff as well! The peri bottle, the mesh underwear, alot of things that they provide are essential.. I def stocked up b4 I went home 😊

Hello! New here.
You look SO GOOD after just giving birth. You also look rested and not in a lot of pain. My doctor (who had 4 babies) created a way different picture of labour for me. She said I should be thankful my hospital doesn't allow you to stay in the same room as your baby because I will not be able to move or take care of him.
How do you feel? Obviously you look able to take care of him, but would you be thankful to have some alone time?

Thank you for sharing! First time mom soon due in a month and although I was a birth photographer I knew a bit about what happens after but this video was far more helpful for me and made me even more excited for our little one! I even watched your birth blog and that was super empowering too!

The nipple shields are the best! I used them with both my kids and our next little rainbow on the way :)

My newborn did NOT sleep the first 24 hours. I had always heard that and was expecting it. Nope. I had a screaming baby for three months straight instead. 🤣

Waittt so I’m currently pregnant and have inverted nipples and I’m so curious how breastfeeding works. One of mine fully came out when I got it pierced a few years ago but the other comes out maybe half way. Anyway now I gotta binge watch all your videos to see if you talk more about it lol
Hi!! So good news for you, since your nipples come out once they are pierced, odds are once you start nursing / pumping they will fully come out. My one nipple is completely inverted so it doesn’t even come out, but my good side is the technically inverted when not pumping, but fully came out once I started lactating. They have a nipple inverter corrector by lansinoh, and also nipples shields. I’m here if you have any more questions!
@@meetingthemiones I’ve been using this corrector thing and it’s getting better but the fact that you could still pump your completely inverted nipple was so relieving to hear!!
I pump a whole 2 bags that the nurse was like shock 2 8oz I had them put it in the refrigerator last those days till he left
How long do we have to use the ice pad? I will due the first baby on October and i have no idea right now! And do i need to bring breast pump to the hospital?
I used mine for about 24 hours, and my hospital has a pump!
You said 6lbs 8oz and I was like wow, that's a good size baby. And then you said pretty tiny and then I was like oh lol. I'm currently 32 weeks pregnant with number 7 and my babies were 6 6, 6 12, 4 13, 5 4, 4 12, and 5 8. I'm hoping for "nice BIG 6 lb baby" lol.
My hope for that big baby is diminishing though bc I'm 32 weeks and fundal height is 28. I have an ultrasound in 2 weeks to measure growth and fluid level.

Yes so I have the pumping bra and then just a really stretchy sports bra that I wear to!
