Hi Maya! When my daughter would only eat a certain thing for a while, our pediatrician told us to let her have whatever she wanted. Her eating anything was better than eating nothing. Their little systems will work it out, and eventually they grow out of it. And she did. ☺️ You’re doing excellent with both of your beautiful babies! ❤
I wish mines would grow out of it they are 7, 6 and 4 and picky as ever with their food and different textures.

I think I’m going to make a dedicated video on breastfeeding
I wasn't able to nurse with my first because I didn't try within the first 24 hours. And once I gave him formula I felt dejected about the whole thing. I pumped for a year and supplemented with formula. I made SURE that after my second was born, I tried multiple times in the first 24 hours. It took about a month to learn how to and feel comfortable breastfeeding. I'm so happy I stuck with it. She's 9 months now and still nursing along with solids. No formula. I pump occasionally to have some milk in a bottle if she's in someone else's care. You're doing wonderfully Maya! 🌻

So so grateful for this video and for who God has molded you to be...thank you for teaching me and specifically saying that whatever time we give to God he is happy with. I am 16 weeks pregnant and have been struggling to spend as much time with God as I would like, and I'm sure that's just going to continue after the baby. But it's so reassuring to know that God blesses the little bit that we have to give. I love these types of videos , I only have one child but when I was pregnant I would watch the 24 hrs with a newborn I enjoy them so much. I had the same problem with baby acne and when I did some research it was because of my breastmilk because it was so sweet and good for them so babies skin react to our breast milk and break the babies face out.

I use the same bottles i had the same problem, i moved up to nipple size 3 and it helped tremendously. The pediatrician also said the same thing and since my breast flow is faster she is used to that flow.

Maya!!! I exclusively BF my baby for 8 months. She only would take the Philips Avent as well. But you have to size up on the nipple size to a 3 or 4! I know it doesn’t say that but I read that changed their design and it’s too slow flow for the little ones. Just try it out. It made a huge difference for us. We just did 1 bottle a day to help her learn both, starting at 8 week. Hope this helps

Diaper genies for the W and yess get in small walks or to fam/friends house during these new born stage even if its for 30 mins. Change of scenery is a must!

With those bottles I had to change the nipple! Cause the flow was just to slow for my baby !! Definitely look into changing the nipple to a flow 3 or 4

You can try to add hulled hemp seeds to the oatmeal for added nutrients and protein. My son was the same. Oatmeal is healthy though!

Our babies are born around the same time. That avent bottle is the best. I realized she took forever to drink at first too.... but i had to change from the size 1 nipple it came with to a size 2 nipple. It's been great ever since. Good luck boo

Hi Maya, I had a very similar situation where I had a strong let down and my babt ate from both sides in less than 8 minutes. However, she could not take a bottle once until 4 months. We found out she had a tongue and lip tie and therefore wasnt efficient sucking from the bottle. I would get him checked out as soon as possible for it just in case. It would have saved us so much stress if we were told sooner.
Hey sis! my son will only eat oatmeal too he literally eats it for breakfast, lunch and dinner and I hope it’s just a phase but he also is starting to grow up aging wise because my daughter is 7 weeks and he loves her sister so much. Love ya girl, god bless you ❤
his challenge with the Avent bottle could be specific to that bottle's nipple. Its generally considered a 'less ideal' nipple for breastfed babies, as it encourages a shallower latch than a breast's nipple could (which can be frustrating for both baby and parents). If you're interested, maybe try the Evenflo classic, or Dr. Brown's narrow bottles for a deeper latch (more so similar to breast feeding).
My daughter has been on up and up (the target brand) since she was about 5 or 6 months old. We got a lot of different diapers from my baby shower and hands down those were the best even as a new born she can per more like 3 times before it feels full at all, I noticed with Huggies and pampers she was getting full super fast. I was really good about changing her diapers often and now she’s still in them and drinks alot of liquids so for longer car drives I feel good knowing she won’t bore through her clothes
If you try them you might need to size up 1 because she is a 4 technically in every other diaper brand except that one she’s a 5

Hey girl! Love your videos. I have been exclusively breastfeeding for 7 months now. Here’s my pumping hack if you’re interested! On Sundays his grandma watches him so on Tuesday night when my baby is sleep I pump and see how much I get I usually leave 3 to 4 6oz bottles for him. I start pumping on Tuesday and go until I have those 24oz. I only pump once a day. Sometimes I pump and get 6oz sometimes I pump and get 4oz it just depends. But this might help you so you don’t feel attached to the pump just so you can have some away time from Ezra, hope this helps.

In regard to your curiosity about how long it takes Ezra to feed with a bottle compared to nursing him, babies can experience nipple confusion when the bottle is introduced. I would suggest exploring different bottles that are recommended for breastfeeding babies. Lansinoh is a good one, and so is Dr. Bronners. It’s worth looking into because bottle feeding can affect baby’s breastfeeding journey so definitely keep that in mind 😊

My baby was ebf until he turned 3 months because he would NOTTT take any kind of bottle(we tried 3), but I saw the nuk simply natural bottles and decided to buy one and he loves them. So just for future reference you should try them. The nipple is made to be similar to a real nipple
