Thank you so much for uplifting mother's that chose to use formula. When I had my children (many many years ago lol) I caught so much hell for choosing to use formula. As a nurse I know that breast milk is super healthy but for my own personal reasons I didn't breast feed. My children are all grown,all healthy and all 4 of them (one set of twins) are very intelligent. So thank you again.

In all honesty and with respect, my children’s father (my husband) is more concerned about his other children (one of them I found out about not long ago which he had been hiding for months)…so she was just venting as was I…

I’m going to overcome this depression I’ve been in for 6 years my daughters whole life. Mother of 3 my oldest is autistic. Being a mother to her is the hardest thing and I always wondered why God gave her to me but realized he gave her to me because I am strong and I can do it.
Jeessuuussss!!! This video touched me in a special way. Maya when you were crying, I just thought about all the times I broke down during motherhood. It’s hard out here but I thank you for keeping it real and showing the true emotions behind it. I am a birth and postpartum doula and I always say I want to be the help for my clients that I never had. Every last “friend” that I had abandoned me once I had my daughter and it’s just literally myself and my husband who care for our daughter who is now two and a half. But God!!!!!!!! He is our strength when we have none, He is our confidant when we have none, He is our friend when we have none! I felt you speaking directly to me and I thank you for allowing the Lord to use you in such a mighty way! I will continue to pray for your family. Hope this doesn’t sound weird but love ya girl! God bless you girl because I’m sitting here holding my three week old thinking to myself “can I do this?!” And she’s my third daughter! I had them all further apart so I get to the “sleep and good routine zone” and then bam pregnant and doing newborn stage all over contemplating my life choices! Especially when she doesn’t want to sleep in her bassinet. Be held 24/7. Cries/screams in your face. Hates diaper changes. And wants to breastfeed around the clock. Team no sleep! Thank you for seeing me because it’s a lonely time even when you’re surrounded by children and family. God-stay with me! And you’re right, fed is absolutely best!

I came across this video & this made me feel so much.. Hearing you talk to real about BF is so refreshing.. My daughter is almost 2yrs old & I wish I heard all that yrs ago when I was struggling with BF for my baby.. I did 2 weeks (barely) & decided to formula feed bc it was SO hard for me, emotionally, mentally, physically & I was actually put down by family members & baby dad for "not trying hard enough".. I knew as long as my baby was fed, I had nothing to worry about, but I battled with PPD for a very long time.
The ending tho... that prayer... I was raised Catholic, but as I grew older, I'm not really into religion anymore... But that prayer really made me feel all sorts of emotion. Motherhood has not been easy for me & somedays I do let the bad days affect me & feel lost & feel like I'm letting my child down.. your prayer made me feel hopeful & grateful for both the good & bad days & reassured me im okay to feel the way i feel, just to not let it overtake me & know that it will pass... thank you. This video is muchhhhhhh needed! I just had my 2nd baby boy 2 weeks ago and I’m going through it with trying to breastfeed/breast pump! I literally forgot about putting the pumps in the fridge/freezer after pumping instead of cleaning them after every use. I’ve been literally cleaning them after every use which made me stay up later in the middle of the night. Thank you, thank you, thank you for this! God really knows when to send messages/tips to you when you really need it!

It’s crazy how we’re the same age and will have a baby around the same time as eachother! Luckily I didn’t get much sickness in the beginning. I was fine up until 9 weeks and had a couple days were I threw up but the rest was just nausea, thank the lord! So i’ve pretty much had an easy pregnancy besides all the stress life itself can bring lol but bringing a baby into the world is a huge blessing and I thought for the longest time that I couldn’t even have kids so this was a huge shock to me but very exciting. Feeling her kick’s definitely make everything worth it though and when you finally have her in your arms, you’ll feel even better and all the pain you’ve felt and worries you’ve had will disappear. I was feeling anxiousness, loneliness, boredom of just being on the same routine every day, and not feeling like I'm moving forward and I NEEDED THAT PRAYER! It’s okay that you don’t know what your doing, we are not suppose to have it all together. If we had it all together then we wouldn’t need God. You are a great mother there are so many mothers that neglected there child but y’all take very great care of her!! It’s okay to have those emotions go through them and not around them. Some days will be great and some days won’t be so great but each day, each step show yourself GRACE and be kind to yourself because you are doing the best that you can. God will teach y’all how to raise that child the way that he needs you to raise her, not how the world says that you need to raise her. Your job is to lead and guide her throughout life to raise her so that when she is capable she can find God and walk in her purpose. We have to remember that yes they are our kids, but They are GOD child. And he trusted you to raise that child and mold her into the person that he needs her to be!
