Mama of 2 here! I highly recommend waiting till any solids until 6 months! New research especially supports this as it can damage their GI track, lead to allergies etc. Plus it takes away from their milk which is what they need solely under 6 months.
Baby will go through spurts of needing more milk and needing less, depending on when she’s going through growth spurts. Just wanted to share that knowledge outta love from one mom to another ❤
Unless advised by baby’s doctor. My baby is 4 and a half months, and because of some factors, baby’s doctor said to go ahead but keep it really mushy
Yea some start between 4-6 months if ready or dr advised

When you said sometimes God sits you down for a reason. AMEN! I’ve been in a situation similar to yours. In March of 2020 I planned to go to the mall with my fiancé for my birthday(now husband) but then covid happened the week of my birthday everything shut down I was so disappointed, then later that week a huge tornado hit and destroyed the mall. I was so grateful I didn’t go out and celebrate my 18th birthday like I planned

I breastfed my 1st for 2 1/2-3 months. I stopped beacuse my mental health couldn’t handle it and my supply was dropping. My 2nd is almost 5 months old and I’m still breastfeeding and it’s going much better than with my 1st. So I agree that fed is best! As long as that baby is eating your doing a great job mama🫶🏻
