I just want to say that as a mom of five, my youngest being 9 oldest 16, I love watching you do everything that you do to keep up with yourself. I lost myself for so many years because I stopped doing the little things that I see you doing now to take care of yourself. You are showing up for yourself! Being a mom takes every drop of energy that you have sometimes so be proud of yourself for still showing up for yourself, which is essentially showing up for your husband and showing up for your baby. ♥️♥️

The conversation about God is real and so relatable! I’m Muslim and in Islam, the concept of a pure heart is having a heart that is sound. The heart is the one vessel that directs you and if that is sound and clean, the body and mind will follow. I struggle with feeling distant and recently joined a course that explain “feelings always come from a thought in the moment” so you are only one thought away from God. He is always near and the All seeing and All Hearing. We often trap ourselves into thinking we have to do so much but He is near and when we realize this, our worship becomes more of worshipping out of love rather than goals and chasing feelings of joy. Cause what happens when we worship everyday? We will not feel peace and joy every time but knowing you are worshipping Him because He is your creator makes it much more stable relationship.
I really do need to be a better friend to God. Thank you for shedding light on this. As a 19 year old, and you being 20, I connect to you in spirit and through Christ. Also I’m a nanny and those sticky bowls for kids don’t work sis!! Baby hands are strong!!! But this journey is so exciting for babies.

Remember Prunes, peaches , pears, peas and plums! These foods will help prevent or relieve constipation for Genesis. When starting solids babies digestive systems are not used to it yet and it takes time. So when pooping it can be very uncomfortable or painful. Also constipation medicine helps as well. At 6 months they are also able to drink water so 2 ounces each time while having baby food to start. And normal bottles throughout day works best. ❤❤ Good luck

I literally just bought all the same feeding items today! My twins are 2 weeks younger then your daughter. Please let me (us) know how the purée works, I want to purée their food but do not know the best machine to use. I am excited for their feeding journey. Congratulations on going the therapy. It’s very helpful! I was in therapy for 2 1/2 years. Due to financial strain, I had to quit…but I see it as God saying “now trust me, just like you trusted her” can’t wait to hear about your journey and see your growth 🥰
You’re doing such a good job as a new mom & I think that you making Genesis home made food is super dope! The trick with the cereal in the bottle is to make the hole in the nipple a little bigger. Honestly feeding her by spoon is way better for her to get in the groove of eating/chewing etc. For her congestion try using a cool mist humidifier in her room especially at night. When my daughter was small I lightly rubbed her down massage-style with vicks vapor rub. Also just a little remedy my grandmother showed me that works for congestion is to rub Vicks under her foot & put her socks on for a few hours. Idk why but it always works wonders even when she’s sick… I still do this to my baby & she is 17 years old now lol. Sorry for the lengthy comment. 🧡

As far as purée, you should introduce one veggie or fruit at a time and just blend it with some purified water. You should give them that veggie or fruit for about 3 days to make sure she isn’t allergic to it and then move on to the next food. Try something not to strong in flavor like sweet potato first

Amazing advice ! Both my kids had some constipation issues and prunes were our best friend! Also, good to avoid cereal in the bottle

Also try try the basics, mushed avocado, bananas, fruits. Add to a bowl with a little formula and rice to the consistency she can handle.
