Ash is way cooler than these two protagonists. He have a mythical ( Melmetal ) , Ultra Beast ( Naganadel) and 3 Pseudo Legendary ( Dragonite, Gible, Goodra ). He's gonna wipe the floor with them.

Man, they use plot more than Ash, he'd at least allow his opponents to do something and he doesn't abuse his power to the point of actually winning all the time. He genuinely took out one of Red's Pokemon too. Hope he get's his getback on those guys.

When you really think about it, ash will be the only anime protagonist that technically met all of the favorite legendary Pokémon of all time in the world of Pokémon

While Ash cheated with his revive trick, he still obeyed to the 1 atk per turn (unless it was 2), so these new protags, doing a 2v1 against Ash and attacking 3 times without letting Ash attack even once? Yeah, just straight up cheating AND bullying. While Ash did have his plot armor, he does not deserve this. #MakeAshGreatAgain

Sure he wins most of the time but he's not foreign to losing matches with other people.
@@marcosgalvis3498 His victories are often unearned and just a result of inconsistent plot armour while his defeats are rather pathetic.
He lost Against brandon twice, both with a clear type advantage with Regirock and Registeel. Then his pikachu solos Regice with ease. Yet that same pikachu lost to a Mewowth earlier on and a STARTER pokemon that never fought later on. His Pikachu also managed to counter Zapdos' thunder, That's wildly inconsistent.
He won the alolan league through sheer dumb luck where his pokemon wakes up from its sleep and suddenly wins. And the championship was the biggest pull out of the posterior I've ever seen. Up until this point, he has lost against every member of the elite 4 he has ever met and now this guy suddenly defeats Pokemon Trainer #3 Steven, Grand Region champion Cynthia and Supreme Champion Leon in the space of a SEASON despite being a sore loser.
If someone like Goku/Kakarot or Yugi did this, I would understand because the former struggles very hard to get stronger while the latter is naturally talented. But Ash? He's a joke who is just a bad trainer in general and only wins when the writters are bored or get endless hate mail.
It's very VERY difficult to view him as a skilled trainer when he's spent 25 years being a mediocre screw up that can barely win the big leagues, regardless of how successful he ash pulled in the end (pun intended)
The moral of the story: You can’t always rely on Plot Armor.
Ash should have brought all his Ace Pokemon and he would have won.

Well I guess that the new protagonists are gonna be the villains, ash will catch darkrai and send them to meet giratina in the shadow realm where they deserve to be.
too be fair ash let the opponent get a turn, they just kept skipping ash's turn. that being said looks like it might be up to ash and gary to kick their ass.
